  1. Yes Fujita usually plays the Yammy proto's early.
  2. I haven't seen these in person but based on these pictures the Yururi looks like it has a very thin top line. This finish has been used on past wedges its an interesting look, more hand done feel I would say. These are based on a completely different heads than the Raw's so I'm sure the characteristics are different as well.
  3. Having Tatsuro translate it...
  4. Miyoshi-san designer & owner of Yururi golf always has interesting ideas and concepts, he noticed that one of the major differences between good vs great grinders is their skill of what Yururi is calling he "Pocket Dance" The pocket dance is the grinding done around all areas the neck begins to meet the face. Kinda fun, he is right that it's a very important part of grinding. I just find it fun that he gave it a name and video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sOfptHdYjhU
  5. Guys these are 799.00 4-PW S200 in the proshop... that's a killer price for these Endo forged beauties.
  6. I love graphite design too! and even those are considered pricey by most. In my brain I think that Tiger and the top pro's play stuff specially made for them, I hope it's at least hand rolled made to order and perfectly round for them. how similar to retail it is I don't know this is just my assumption. I also think that If Crazy & Quadra had put the same effort into the U.S PGA tour that Graphite Design has for so many years chances are many top pro's would enjoy them as well. If there is no tour van or company loading these players with shafts or providing bonuses or pay for play and building great relationships over decades the shaft will probably not be vin the bags of many. Both Crazy & Quadra hand roll shafts all the time and have their own factories and use Japanese 50 & 80T. The use of better carbon is magnified the better the player. It's small gains at that level but important still.
  7. I just sent you a pm, It sucks to hear that.. I've hit this finish 2-3 times over the last 5 or so years and don't believe thats whats making them feel dead, it's gotta be something else. grind, loft, spec's. It's double nickel satin a finish that I've only known everyone to love.
  8. Added the 460HX pics to thread.
  9. yes RomaRo Type R is long, forgiving, and feels/sounds fantastic.
  10. Yup willing to give you a very good deal on a new boron and one with a warranty if thats what you want.
  11. Agreed these will look killer done by Yoro Craft!
  12. We're seeing a rise in RomaRo orders not only through TSG but also through our authorized dealers. My best guess is that the up tick in sales is coming from the good press the Type-R series is getting. Today is the 435LX, Tomorrow I will post the 460. This 435LX is a nice size and I installed a DI-6 stiff into it to see how it would stack up against my Crazy 435 w/ Boron. I would say in terms of feel the RomaRo has a slight advantage, I want to pull the DI6 and insert the Boron because I really feel like that combo would be great, I just want to see how soft or stiff the tip plays in this head. I hit this when it was first released along with nearly a dozen other drivers so somehow it got lost in the mix. What do you think? Has anyone hit these? Please post any questions or reviews in this thread. RomaRo 460HX
  13. OMG! It's not out!! This wedge in the photo is not the final! The medallion is gone in the retail version due to durability in hot climates meaning it must have fell off. GS always does this to me, sends us prototypes that are not final.
  14. Roddio is a very different brand now. No longer are they owned or a part of Globeride aka Daiwa although the shafts are still made by Globeride. The original Roddio shafts were very finicky shafts they just had their own way of doing things. When Roddio was purchased recently they did change that and now they are a lot more user friendly especially for the clubmaker. The shafts do play soft though. We met with them earlier this year and got the impression that they were taking the brand in a different direction and it's a little strange imo.
  15. Crazy 435 has gotta be the best lefty driver out. The righty version is awesome.
  16. Imo this is the most underrated Japanese wedge out today. It's about a hundred bucks which is a steal for anything made in Japan. The grind, shape, size, offset is near perfection, big OEMs could take notes off this one. It also feels good as well. Had some pictures in the back log to post. Sorry no detailed review. It's good and I haven't found anyone who owns one that says otherwise. If you hit this please add your thoughts.
  17. face angle, lie angle, ideal shaft & grip. I'm really liking my anser putters at 4* open.
  18. To each is own. Example is George Spirits, crisp, tink sound, floating slit etc.. feels unique and good then on the other side of the Zen feels delicious it's on the softer side but not mushy at all. So what is good feel to you? btw zen owners, i hit one that had been re spec'd by Sasaya-san. Not a single mod on it other than new specs, new shaft, new grip. Night and day. Gotta get your putter spec'd, make less putts.
  19. this thread was started 9 years ago..:) Sorry no idea where you can get some TN-93's. Curious why you want those over whats available now. Blades have come a ways although the TN's are fantastic for their time.
  20. You considering these? what questions you got?
  21. This shaft wasn't originally purchased from TSG. I think spoon picked it up from a friend in PI who bought it from a shop in PI. I've probably had like 20+ crazy shafts. A couple I have pulled more than 6 times. Many pulled more than 3 times. 0 have broken on me. Here's the thing, we know some shops in Japan that never see Crazy breakage yet move many many shafts. Per the amount of shafts TSG sells the breakage rate is higher than normal. We know its not the swing speed of international players and that most likely Its usually the club maker or shipping or the players context about how he care for his/her clubs.
  22. The V-Forged feels a little bit softer, the ONOFF13's are for sure longer and more accurate still soft. I would say the ONOFF has the slightest bit more offset and the better shape as well.
  23. It's hands down the best JDM lefty driver around very good choice and I'm glad you didn't go with the Royal Deco.
  24. lighting these pics were taken around 5:30am.
  25. I believe these have a RAW finish face with bead blast just like the blades Tario posted. That means the entire head is plated except for the face so when it does wear you will only see rust on the face. Some say raw feels better at impact and with rust spin increases but thats a matter of opinion of course it just now you can have the best of both worlds with Tabuchi. Durability with raw feel. I also think these have the copper underlay. T can you confirm this please.
