  1. The Fourteen's are solid! The 62* was a great addition to their line up. Also the 58 thru 60 are available in M & H grinds. Most PGA tour players are rocking these at D4/D5.5 which is a hair lighter than the stock D6 swing swing weight. Most popular shaft is DGS400 on tour.
  2. Would I buy these personally? No but IMO from above it's better than many. It's a sub 6mm head, most of us here play that range or bigger. Players CB's for reference are in the 5.5 zone your KZG blades are for sure much thinner. In regards to the taper on the toe It's not common but also not so rare. In fact the ONOFF Forged has that feature as well, It does have a purpose. The broken in 3 parts I don't get it. The pic you linked us to is at a very different angle, looks like a muscle back as well. I would classify it as a thin top line, low offset, and Japanese neck style and it looks pretty good. Keep in mind I have a fixed ranged zoom lens which makes the head look much bigger than it actually is. Here is another image for you ( again zoomed way in )
  3. Miura for game improvement? I think you got it the other way around. For players irons they make good stuff. For game improvement not a chance. They simply don't have the know how or technology to achieve forgiveness outside of grinding a 1 piece head for the higher handicap golfer. It takes 2 pieces ideally and noxon should be looking at Titleist VG3, Yamaha V-Forged, RC Tour Forged, and others along those lines. PM or Email myself or Tario we would need to run down some stats to make a proper suggestion.
  4. I need one of those tattoo's also
  5. I think graphite trumps steel based on experience. I hit it longer and straighter. The long irons get roll forward and short irons stop and drop. Same set with steel a push goes out to the right much more and pulls go more left. It's as if graphite returns the head to square a bit better. I like steel alot too though. Feel is improved with graphite for me as well. I've hit a lot of graphite for many rounds, Roddio I-10's, Crazy LY, Crazy CB80 limiteds, Quadra's, Thumps. I'm sold on graphite! I do not buy what the worlds best players play is the best. It's pure marketing when it comes to that.
  6. do tell, what do you see in the top line?
  7. IMO black faces feel a bit more firm.

Don't forget Egg irons! Those rock too, on the horizon for me is the Egg Forged and it's uber jacked up lofts!
  9. Nice! Hot = higher launching Black = head squares up with ease! The combo FOR ME anyway equals Crazy Distance! Hope it works out for you!
  10. ahh Yes that's a very good question. I will ask the Kenmochi staff about that, thanks for bringing it up!
  11. I don't know, I requested demo's from TourStage with the Tour AD's and there was a bit of a delay, being the impatient SOB that I am I said go ahead and send me them in steel. All I can do is hit these suckers dead straight, I'm not changing anything about these. My original plan was to order these, the RC's and maybe another and a bunch of Crazy UT shafts and have them go at it. Never made it that far and I don't want to fool around.
  12. The Sleeves are adjusted at the time of shaft installation only. Its a very simple and straight forward process that you would tell your clubmaker before building. Tomorrow we have 4 clubs being tested at the range, Yonex 380, Ryoma V-Spec w/ Muziik BangVoo, New Srixon Z-TX, and Kenmochi KD-01 w/ Crazy CB-46 Black 6.7. I just shafted one up today, here are the pics:
  13. Hows the old school NSK: Not bad for a dodge: 370Z: Hardcore German Evo
  14. Yup the major complaint about the 208 was it's not so forgiving, not sure how but I can tell with first hand experience that the 210 is noticeably easier to hit.
  15. For the better player Akira isn't actually a bad club. The reason why I say better player is because all of their releases are left overs from what their pro's in asia requested. they all fit the same type as the Jbeam 425. I'll bring some in mid month.
  16. Stews first time hitting it. Sorry this is a really bad video audio did not sync properly. tomorrow gonna give it a whirl with Tatsuro and idrive.
  17. For those of you waiting and waiting TSG has got the Yonex 380's We have them shafted and even hand picked head only (special batch w/ hottest faces) I have a bunch in hand and will ship the pre orders this coming monday!
  18. noooo.. nakajima-san! P = Pigeon..:) Matsuo-san is the designer, not #2 not even close. The top designers are teams from artist to player to cad designer then they submit to the factory and the factory actually has a say in the design and materials in many cases. The JDM Callaway like Legacy Apex is made by Endo so are a couple of their forged irons. Advanced owned by Dynamic (parent co. of Geotech I forget the chinese name) makes the TM woods and low end Callaway but not all of it. I don't think thats accurate because P-Tune doesn't have the volume to produce there. It could be one of many factories that produce parts for TM. Many think one factory makes it all but different processes are done in different areas. Sometimes volume is split among partner factories as well. It's very confusing. anywho I'm glad your rockin it solid is it the P106 or 206? It did pretty well in the D1 competition. The concept is weighting in 4 points.
  19. We actually sell a lot of Honma, not to the forum type though. There is some stuff that's geared toward the better player, The new revolution stuff performs well BUT the damn colors get me. The pro's play a black prototype honma revolution models while the customers get colorful versions. Sakata studio's is where many Honma clubs are finished. It's not 100% made in Japan from what I understand. Sakata is a famous casting factory. They don't do forgings.

I haven't gone there yet, First your R55 chipper post - I ordered one last night and now this - I'm considering it now as I really like the idea of a shorter length driver. Makes me wanna swing it really hard! Your on a roll brother costing me money!
  21. This is very common to have SP700 in the non conforming version. It's just hotter at a particular thickness. The review is being shot Thursday gonna play a round with Tatsuro and TSGirl and get some valuable range time with it. Muziik BangVoo's going in!
  22. Nice stick B! I was able to hit this club at the show and it's Outstanding! very forgiving nice mid/high trajectory. did you get it with steel or graphite?
