  1. Here are a few sneaker peaker's of that new HYB in ION plated spec. The woods will not be out for quite a few more months but TSG is getting the Irons, Wedges, and Putters in late april. They are very similar to the G-Fields but the shape looks to be sexier, the annoying exterior weights are gone and the head in normal or Ion spec is made of 17-4 Stainless steel.
  2. GS-MB 1015 soft carbon forged steel made 100% in Japan.
  3. I wouldn't really suggest messing with the crazy shaft guys, not sure who is telling you its better than the Tour AD's but that is an opinion not shared by shaft testers or pro players. We sell the crazy shaft for crazy prices but I still wouldn't suggest it to those looking at MD series, Axiv, or Mach Line.
  4. I recently installed the 9003 in stiff into my 14* FW its super but I I didn't tip it according to their standard 3 wood trim instructions because i wanted height and a softer feel. I get a good mid trajectory and the shaft doesn't feel boardy or overly stiff or stout. I have also tried the 9003 Stiff in a Tourstage ViQ driver, The 9003 in a driver reminded me of a better feeling, slightly lighter, long distance 757 if that makes any sense to some of you. I remember it not feeling as got as my current 3 wood. The distance was amazing but based off of my short experience with it I would suggest it to a 105-108mph swinger that hits a draw. The X version for 110+.
  5. Complete Beauty! Stamped with Bettinardi & Mizuno !!
  6. This wedge is identical to the latest prototype wedges carried by several JPGA pros. These wedges are all hand finished with twin sole grinds and a nickel chome underlay for soft feel and then hand polished and then applied with a special black plated finish. A lot of work is put into each wedge to finish it perfectly with polish then plating. Add on to that the time they spend to do this twin sole grind and we're talking possibly the best Fourteen wedge ever. The 3 wedge set includes a 48/7 53/10 and 58/14 wedge, made to be the ultimate short game set. (PW,AW,SW) The flat sole grind is made to be versatile and allows the wedge to be easily opened from any lie. The black finish eliminates glare and improves durability. The grooves are typical Fourteen, sharp with awesome spin . Each set is individually numbered and limited to only 2000 sets in Japan.
  7. Based off of the Gauge Japan GFT fairway wood these are for sure a soon to be favorite. There will be 2 versions, an ION black plated and this one as seen below.
  8. A lot of it comes down to price point, if the median driver price in the usa is 299 and in Japan about 800 there is so much more that can be done with the club as far as design, materials, technology and manufacturing. Same deal goes with the irons. If the target price in the usa is 599 or 699 that means sacrifices must be made in several areas. In regards to the TM TP Forged, I think it will reach the USA in about 1 1/2 years at the longest. The R7 Forged was just released in the USA yet its an older model in Japan. TM TP is indeed a Japan Domestic Market club but it is not a Japan made club. It has an awesome shape, amount of offset, topline size etc.. among the best currently on the market IMO.
  9. I said the same thing to him because No one is a fan of the brand name. I am expecting 1st gen stuff to be pretty good but knowing him and his design skills he will go all out for 2nd gen product and so on.
  10. DC man, Opps I am sorry your right, Jacque did tell you that, I'm sorry. But The description doesnt say forged in Japan, and several times in the past we have mentioned where the Forged & TP were forged also. In regards to Endo Thailand vs Japan. Yup Japanese steel is sent to Thailand, It is the same process. Most of the time the Japanese market (JDM stuff) is forged in the Japan plant so they need not pay duties or shipping by bringing it into the motherland. In regards to Mizuno, Yup I heard that same rumor about the finishing a while ago as well. I have also heard otherwise more recently, they are both rumors. Anyway Sorry bout the confusion DC man, they are forged in Taiwan.
  11. Dciman, your double wrong. 1st, none of our staff has e-mailed you that the Taylormade TP Forged irons are forged in Japan. 2nd, no where does it say in the TSG proshop or our web site that they are forged in Japan. We have always said the Taylormade Forged Series is forged in Taiwan ( nelson ). None of Taylormade's clubs are Japan forged except the very old miura forged models.
  12. I am not sure to be honest, I have only heard that some of the newer models are produced in China. The TM TP forged irons are forged in Taiwan sir.
  13. He is back... After the demise of Gauge Design Japan, owner George Takei planning a come back this April with his new brand George Spirits. Since his former company fell apart he has secured a job as lead designer and president of George Spirits a subsidiary of the huge Japanese construction company named Landcom. He is now reinventing some of his most popular designs from the past. The new GS putters are 3 piece forged putters with a face of 1005, and and body's made of 1020. This time he is coming back with, Drivers, Irons, Wedges, almost a dozen new putters along with some killer FW's and Hybrids. Here is just a sneak peak of what is soon to come.
  14. They can bend .5* for loft and lie on top of TSG requesting a hand picked head, It will not get you to 12* i think.
  15. Not all Japanese brands are manufactured in Japan. Many are actually not, so make sure and check in with TSG id you have your doubts. What model Mizuno's are not holding up for you? Yes from what I understand some of their newer clubs are made in China or Taiwan.
  16. Mach Line 7080 stock in stiff works well for me. But the reviews people are giving this driver attached to the MD series by Tour AD are making me want to switch.
  17. Most customers are buying the EMB. I like the AF101 over the EMB. I have a feeling if most guy's tried both they would select the AF101. I find the 101 longer and better feeling while the EMB could simply be the most forgiving and long high MOI design ever made. IMO AF101 all the way...
  18. Yes you should try another 60* with less bounce, trade or sell yours with someone who plays in softer conditions.
  19. What pics are you talking about? The pics we show are from GeoTech.
  20. I am not sure if the brand Yururi is named after that island. I will find out.
  21. All of them are 1020, The 208 has a lower ball flight and the most spin, not to mention a better grind for the steeper swinger. The 207 is a low bounce wedge very similar to the X-Type Wedge but with more agressive grooves and an adjusted leading edge. The 207 and X-Type are no longer in production and not in stock any longer. I do have some of the 207, Technity, and X-type left though.
  22. My bad guy's the Unagi part was my doing. There is no official model name yet for this product.
