It for sure can be ordered as a custom option at an up charge but right now its these 3 offered. -
Here are some Epon bag pics, not the best images but it gives you an idea. I have seen a ton of variations, I will have them in hand for better pics soon but for the guys who need one now, your only a PM or E-mail away. From what I have seen there is a very high quality Tour Bag which is the black with copper text, made of the same material that Prada uses in some of their products and the straps and features are in Italian leather. There is also 2 stand bags as seen in black and white in the pics. The Izzo carry bags look amazing too and then there is a bag with wheels, I assume its LEPON ( womens lepon ) better pics to come and more info

Scheduled for a mid to late Febuary release Epon has designed a new wedge for the semi steep swinger who desires high spin and a soft forged Endo 1020 feel. These wedges have a higher CG meaning a lower more accurate ball flight. Its called the 208KGX wedge, It is going to be the replacement for the current AF wedge. The AF wedge was such a hit Epon sold out of its initial run in record time.

I think Miura NA or JPN has across the board less offset in its cavity backs.
-
I have hit both, the TC-550 is hands down more forgiving but the 1000's are more rewarding. I also feel the 1000's are more accurate. Also if you hit closer to the heel the 1000's play virtually as forgiving as the 550's. If your out on the heel more often then go with the 550 forged.

2008 Miura MB-5003 w/PICS!!!
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
I can take some pics for you say next to the MP67, and Fourteen TB1000's. Will post um in this thread soon. -
The ONOFF was released, then I was told they are taking extra time for manufacturing issues on the 2nd run. Daiwa has an interesting inventory strategy where they only build whats ordered for distributors and they do not create extra pieces outside of those. If the market demands it the consumer will request the product from the distributor and the distributor has to place an order with Daiwa. Most OEMs build a pre set amount and stock them. I will have time with the Yamaha gear mid Jan and will post a review and pics for you guys.

Fourteen TC-1000 Vs. ONOFF 247cbs
TourSpecGolfer replied to tincup975's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
If it was my choice I would take the TC1000's, the CB247 Imo is just another Miura iron and I am not sure how much of an original design it is because I have seen many variations of this cavity concept used for a variety of OEM's Miura Irons. After hitting the CB202 by Miura NA I found them visually more appealing than the CB247 not to mention a bit better feeling. They are on the rare side and we do have some CB247's in stock now at only a fraction of the price other people were selling heads only at. -
Also it is very important to understand that the design and shape of the sole + cavity, the loft, and type of material play a huge effect on the irons feel at impact. You can make irons with the same method and material and they can feel so very different due to design.

Mitsubishi Diamana ali'islei
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Its sorta an inbetween shaft IMO and to add to that i didnt find it to kick aggressive enough through impact compared to other shafts on the market like the Axiv, Roddio, and some of the Tour AD's. -
You are able to get any Shimada shaft with all epon irons. If you like lightweight lots of people usually do very good with the NS1050.

Miura 5003 v. Fourteen TB1000 Blades
TourSpecGolfer replied to Richmond Golfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Such a close call but here is my take, The Miura 5003 is the better club, I do enjoy the feel of the TB1000 Forged but it just doesnt seem as forgiving as the Miura Iron. I do however enjoy the Cast 2006 model TB-1000 Prototype better than the Miura, Its not as forgiving but has an unreal soft soft feedback to it that makes you come back for more. At this moment The Miura MB5003 is the best blade on the market IMO. semi easy to hit for a blade, very very sweet soft feel to it and looks to match. -
I love the ONOFF brand and concept and we are very close to them, but what initial reviews from our supporters in Japan say that the performance is sub par and and not all that great. Combine that with the fact they dont supply support or hosel adapters for non authorized accounts Its in my humble opinion they are not the best choice with so many high performance and highly rated drivers on and coming to the market this year.

2008 Miura MB-5003 w/PICS!!!
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Perhaps switching up may satisfy some, use a blade when you simply can and at other times larger forged CB's. When i hit the 6 and 7 iron of the 5003 it was just as described, Super Soft, Its sleek and with a bit of focus it's not as difficult as other blades to hit. It ranks among the best blades made that I have ever hit including, Old TB1000 by fourteen, MR23 by Tourstage, Mizzy Custom 33's, 32, 37's. Its pretty perfect if ya ask me. From above the iron's top line, size and shape is like a dream come true. Team it with the proper shaft, like the NS1150, Black Gold's and Tour Concepts, S400 soft stepped is a dream as well. -
Its back again and now available. I would suggest it in a black teflon finish if you want the softest feel possible from this material. I would look more at its shape and design versus its material because in the end the shaft, insert etc.. makes most of the difference. Also keep in mind the original head weight of the PS1 and PS2 cant be adjusted while the GF01A and SS303 models can be heavier or lighter than standard.

They are on back order right now, when they are readily available again we will activate that listing again.

2008 Epon AF-Forged Wedge Pics!
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
These Epon wedges by far are the best weight balanced and feeling wedges I have ever tried. I am now playing them with NS1150 X soft stepped and they shoot darts nice and accurate with a low trajectory. The best part is they setup great for a single digit player yet are forgiving enough for the average joe. -
Taylormade JAPAN R7 TP " TouR SpeC " Edition
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
This finish was done a little differently. I started out with the buffing wheel, then used steel wool, then polished with brasso, then used more steel wool and finished it off with auto wax.
