TourStage X-Blade 2007 Limited Edition irons
TourSpecGolfer replied to Blader-X's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
The difference between the 2006 model and this limited version is very minimal, its more traditional shape and higher cg gear it to the better player. other than that not very much but style. I wont know until its in hand then i can take some measurements for you folks. When you purchase the irons you recieve a solid discount on the shafts and labor. Pm for questions -
TourStage X-Blade 2007 Limited Edition irons
TourSpecGolfer replied to Blader-X's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
ha ha! yes only S200, isnt that lame. for the cost of parts and labor you can get any other shaft you wish from us. U.S and Import! here are some of the premium options available: MOI Matching or Swing Weight Matching ( cant be both ) SST Puring ( not neccesary with irons IMO ) Spine and Flat line oscillation ( of course our clubmakers do this to everyones clubs free of charge ) Blue Printing w/ wooden dowel, or Acoustic Rubber Loft, Lie, Length and Swing Weight Adjustments or you can pay top dollar and we have Masahiko Koyama build them in Japan with authentic certification papers and the fancy fancy box. -
Affiliated yes but not related. Fourteen makes good clubs with style, SYB is a shaft and component brand in Japan. we have the lowest prices anywhere and offer almost unlimited shaft options.

Anyone here play an Axiv in a Fairway Wood?
TourSpecGolfer replied to gocchin's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
your on the money, there are only two that i have tried that worked very well in FW's. 7568L V-Spec 8072 keep in mind they play a tad soft because Mamiya for some reason decided to chart the CPMs using a 7" clamp instead of the norm 5". -

New Selection of Tour Shafts for Import Upgrades
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
not sure just yet, so many new hybrid shafts available its difficult, im looking at the comp NT hybrid, the Ozik hybrids, the C-note, the proven Tour AD UT-85 and a few others. if i have free time i will do my best to shaft up 3 GFT's one of each and put it on the launch monitor for you guys. -
New Selection of Tour Shafts for Import Upgrades
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Its not difficult at all, its a shaft offered and advertised by UST as retail since 2005. If it has been discontinued there is little hope of getting it for you but to my knowledge its still available from UST america and if not them Mamiya OP Japan may have them. -
Yes that would be great wouldnt it :tsg_smilie_wink:

She started late last year on the LPGA with fellow pro golfers Shinobu and Sakura, I have been pulling for Ai Chan ever since, she has been in the lead several times but unable to close the door. Anyone notice her headcovers? I got it on DVR but dont know how to capture the footage. Its a ComoCome creature i have never seen before, does anyone have a pic?

type of shafts needed for type-js and NC-1's
TourSpecGolfer replied to alpha_pro's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
they are both taper. -
Here are some import suggestions for FW shafts. PT-7/8 ( nice tight and consistent flight ) Diamana Red ( ball gets up nice and easy in a FW ) Tour AD W70 ( super easy to get into the air with a semi heavy weight ) Tour AD M65 ( low bullets and a good shaft to smooth out an aggressive swing ) Axiv V-Spec 8072 ( gets up and stays flat, floats over earth forever ) I usually suggest 70-95 gram shafts in fairways and 70-95 gram shafts in Utility woods. Im still a fan of 60 grams in the driver as its has a nice balance of distance and control.

you found a stiff or the X PT-6 too soft? it may be the way it was tipped. PT7 and PT6 for the most part seem to play true or a tad stiffer than stated flex IMO. I use PT-7 stiff in my 4 wood and PT-6 R flex Tip 9 spec in my ZR-600 solid fairway wood shaft if you want a low piercing flight.

Taylormade R7 Forged Limited Iron w/Pics!
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
That sort of offset is mainstreme japanese style in cavity backs, its supposed to aid with accuracy but of course its personal taste and so minimal i doubt you will see a difference. I have some crazy looking modified R7 irons to show you guys later in the week. -
OZIK by Matrix ( TP-7, Code 6, Altus, and more! )
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
It is softer because the japanese at Mamiya use a 7" clamp to test the CPM's not the normal 5" -
PRO DIVISION FORGED L by G-Field - 370G Head!!!
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
this one is a real bummer, the last 3 vanished when GDJ relocated to Himeji from Shinjuku. That means only 7 are in circulation. -
The maru wedges are very light weight and at odd specs. I suggest them if you love the grind or collect rare clubs but as far as having good specs off the rack the 06 X-wedge may be closer to what your looking for. Thanks, Chris
