Axiv shaft online shaft selection tool
TourSpecGolfer replied to Rodfern's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
I wouldn't get to caught up on the numbers, The first two numbers equal the weight and the second equal flex. i.e 6064M = 60 gram 6.4 flex Mid kick. Pick your favorite weight, the closest flex possible and your kick point and give it a try. -
They currently don't have any lefty putters sorry. But I did come across 1 of 2 made new design FCB Iron prototypes!

G-Field Players Zone w/PICS!
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
They are a great value and could pass as 300-400 dollar putters especially when you have them in hand and feel its heavy 350 gram head. Its indeed soft but not mushy. I think this one could be a hit on one or two tours in the near future. -

GD PT-7 vs Blue Diamana 73 & Red Diamana 73
TourSpecGolfer replied to 206-gti's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Right now im in shaft la la land, the 3 shafts that work best for me are the Axiv 6564, Diamana Red M73 and the Graphite Design PT-6 or 7. All three are user friendly, the Axiv has the most floaty carry and the Diamana Red turns over easiest but the PT6 I like because its a mid high launch with a good strong kick and seems to give more roll than the others. Any way you go your already looking at the best shafts on the market, you should be fine. -
As we do every year :tsg_smilie_cool:

Could this be the sexiest iron this year?

I sent a total of 6 putters to Kevin Colbert at www.putterplating.com and told him to surprise me and he did just that, The quality of his nickel finish is stunning. I will do some testing for durability but from the look of things they are top notch. We had him add a custom logo to the toe as well as 3 colors to match our Import, Tour, and Domestic Skins.

XST vs BBD Type H2 vs TM Vsteel 2 need reviews
TourSpecGolfer replied to pingwrx's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Yes I do, just drop me a PM. I can get them with just about any shaft option under the sun, I suggest the PT-7 by Graphite Design. #3 = 14* #4 = 16* #5 = 18* #7 = 20* #9 = 23* I am playing the 4 & 7 with PT-7 Tour AD stiff shafts, never been happier with a FW. -

When Team G-Field aka GF Studio is established in the U.S they will have all sorts of custonmizations available. Until then yes length and lie are adjustable. Yes I do but I dont have the pics yet, SUS = Stainless Steel. Here are some topline pics to compare: #0,#1,#2 -

XST vs BBD Type H2 vs TM Vsteel 2 need reviews
TourSpecGolfer replied to pingwrx's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
GFT and XST are both dead square. The GFT has a more compact eye pleasing profile from above. The X-ST is a tad bigger. The Type H2 I have seen square and .5 closed, of the three i would rate it last. Sounds like more than several people have had RC FW's that setup closed so I would count them out of the consistently square category, In regards to the new H2 vs the new C.V pro the H2 is supposed to have a lower center of gravity making it a higher launch head. -
XST vs BBD Type H2 vs TM Vsteel 2 need reviews
TourSpecGolfer replied to pingwrx's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
The top 3 sqaure faced 3 woods on the market IMO are the G-Field GFT, Tourstage X-ST, and RC BBD H2. Most muted goes to the XST, Most solid to the GFT, H2 is just a higher launching head than the original BBD Type H. -
Having trouble keeping track of all the new G-Field putters? Just remember there are 4 different zones: Players Zone, Athlete Zone, Neo Zone, and Premium Zone. Here are images of the soon to be released G-Field Players zone putters. The PZ line will retail at 149.00. This is their first entry into the affordable putter market, The insert is called D-C, its soft yet not as mushy as the white hot series. One thing that puts this line above others is its 350g head weight that not many putters at this price range feature.

Do you mean VIQ 430 or X-Drive 435? I wouldn't be to concerned about a driver lie angle unless your very short or extremely tall.

G-Field Premium Zone #0, #1, #2
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Release is not 100% set yet. My best guess is Late Feb to early March. The price should retail around 399.00 or so. 4 color samples that will be available to the public along black. there are also 2 other colors not shown. -
Thanks for the great pics MC, Yours is the final version IMO some of the best irons ever made. For those wondering the difference between the protos and the final, the protos had black fill, a sharper leading edge and onsett. the final release version has very minimal offset, white fill and a more rounded leading edge.

For those who think the Anser is the Answer, I must say that these new G-Field Premium Zone putters are the most luxurious and tech filled anser putters to EVER hit the market. SS304 body, SS303 Insert, Double 20g Tungsten Ingots and a new patent pending Aluinser design. FEEL - WEIGHT - ROLL Absolutely Outstanding! This is only half of the Premium Zone, the other half ( Mallets ) are still to come! #0 #1 #2 I have seen these in person and let me tell you these images dont do a thing for them. Please compare models and feel free to request other angles.

This is the final spec retail iron that G-Field will release as their NC-1 worldwide. I have had these in the bag for a couple months already and I must say they are gamers. The most distinctive attribute is its very soft feel at impact due to 1020. They are indeed forgiving equal to the Original NC-1 and NC-1 handmades yet easier to work. There are shots I can do with the G-Field version that the Gauge model didn't have, like the low 3 iron draw when troubled drives leave me left on long holes.
