  1. CCC just recently finished my 2 MR23 heads and they are both foamed. i let them know to be extra careful and that they are foamed and they catered to me no problem and finished it very quick. Should be here this week i will post a few pics.
  2. Amazing no one has jumped on these yet, this is a great price for some really sweet players CB's.
  3. I use a really s**tty web site to host my images. I upload the pics to the poop filled image gallery and presto! here is the URL: www.tourspecgolf.com  all kidding aside, I use a combo of Tourspecgolf Image gallery and photohoster.com
  4. Actually its not my view that pic was taken from the top of Tokyo Tower, My apartment is one of the buildings in the pic. Its the small one. 8O . If you can find it I will give you Jane 8O 8O 8O
  5. Wow I have never seen that before. I have only seen this one:
  6. Jane says " Don't Eat Me" 3 years ago a man brought 400 babies into the U.S in water balloons wrapped around his waste dangling near his nutz...poor fish  they sold out before he got caught the least he could have made was 1,500,000 U.S. I cant even sell 50 R7's so how did this guy find 400 buyers for a fish no one in the states has heard of??? Yeah my avatar was scarring members so I pulled it, don't worry the man in the pic vows to get his revenge and he will return.
  7. Great suggestion XXIO here are some pics of the Honma Art Series. What cha guys think? Is it Art?
  8. Major Congrats Ari!!! ;shocked Wow soon there will be many foursomes playing scratch Irons. So where did he take the three of you to celebrate?
  9. Its 5pm here Saturday, just finished a great round of golf my leg was sore but a nice man named Asahi Super Dry helped me forget about the pain. Its gonna be another relaxing night at home....here is a pic of my apartment:
  10. Had to change the avatar people were crying  :? My new avatar is my most prized possession, her name is Jane. Any Exotic fish collectors here? She is a Super red Arowana from Africa, she was born in the rain forest and smuggled to Hawaii then smuggled to Japan. These fish are highly illegal in the U.S they grow in proportion to the tank and when in the wild legend says they used to grow to 20ft long and eat storks and fish eating birds. If anyone ever has the chance to get one don't pass up on it. A baby is worth about 5,000 U.S dollars when they get big your looking at $25,000 - 40,000 depending on size and color. I am a salt water tank freak but not even a yellow lion fish can come close to Jane. These are legal in Japan but baby's are really expensive here.
  11. I'm thinking maybe I could use the gel with lead attached to the sole plate in the rear area. Each capsule of gel is 40g i think so i would go 10g in gel and 10 in lead.
  12. Hmmm, there is history about the caliper logo. It is actually the Japanese family crest of the owner of Japan Gauge's family, Its outside the door of all his relatives homes and even on his deceased relatives graves. Not even the employees at Gauge Japan know this or they would think the battle for registered rights is personal rather than legal. Anyway the caliper will be gone and the G logo is already registered in the U.S. It could be a G or a Z style engraving on the back of the putter. As for the name G-Zone, I have no clue what the heck that is :? but ya know dem Japanese they got funky names for companies. here are a few: - Hot Spar ( like 7-11 ) - Book Off ( used book store ) - Book On ( used book store ) - Gorilla Slut ( pachinko parlor ) - Immigrant ( pachinko Parlor ) - sunkus ( like 7-11 ) - G-Zone (lol!!)
  13. There are holes in the Eldik to get rid of unwanted weight, It seems pro's want 340 - 350gs also 3* of loft works well with this putter if you don't have a forward press. They have made non plumbers neck putters but currently don't have any in the line up, thats a great question and I will ask if it is a custom option. Teflon is much more durable, Pro's seem to beat their putters pretty bad . Engraving, paint fill, and finish are just cosmetic and mental for them. The Dirty finish on Tour is visually and mentally better I'm guessing. Tigers personal Cammy is Dirty finish also with a ton of dings. :x
  14. Eldik proto is the most rare because it was first and sold out fastest. The Tour version isn't exactly for the Tour, It is just a little longer from face to ass. The Tour JPGA guys play Proto Eldiks with no engraving and a special Teflon finish instead of black. I was told Pro's don't like pretty putters and that its to distracting. Many pro's drill holes in the area where it is not visible between the weight piece. I have seen them just over 400g and as low as 340g.
  15. These Irons are just about as rare as it gets. When you think of Honma you think grandpa SS with a noodle shaft and tons of offset. My relationship with Honma has grown over the past year and they realize the TSG customers want players irons. This set here is the 2004 prototypes for JPGA honma staff players. Only 3 were made besides professional Tour use, 1 sold to France the other new York and I have the 3rd. These here were shafted with the cheapest graphite shaft they make to keep cost down to only 2750.00 for 4-11, SW & LW. I know not many of you are into this scene but these are just something special i thought i would share.
  16. The R7 is Deeep ball go real far with this club, My Tour TM connection in the states sells his 510DF Tours for 300.00 each when you buy 5 or more from him and this was 6 months ago. I thought long and hard about this I even talked to the Top dawgs at TM during the Tokyo golf fair. My connection says TM is producing Tour heads in bulk on purpose with intentions for them to be leaked into ebay etc at high prices. The top guys at TM deny any Tour clubs being sold and have told me that no Tour club comes wrapped in the plastic..... :? That is complete BS because in the Tour Van pics there are many Tour XD's with Plastic on the heads in fact when I purchased my last DF it had plastic on the head. Like I have said before this could all be a plan to drive prices up to sell more clubs at a higher margin of profit. Where is scully when you need her?
  17. As many of you may or may not know Gauge Japan and Gauge U.S.A are no longer allies, in fact both brands are manufactured on opposite sides of the world now. IMHO Gauge Designs could be #2 in the putter industry if they could just work together.... Unfortunately that will never happen so Gauge Japan has just registered the name G-Zone and the G logo in the U.S and is preparing to enter the U.S market in full force probably in the next several years. The Gauge Custom Design Studio is amazing and offers custom options that no other putter company has offered before. We have several lucky members on this board who have already ordered custom putters from Gauge Japan and they are almost complete, take a look: If this one had 8 small ingots and 2 large It would be mine! Could this be a G-Zone Insert proto? This one still needs small Ingots..Expensive  I have no idea why this member selected red filling for the neck...wanna change your mind? Tour Eldik Blue... and No I cant get them they are back ordered
  18. Yes the contest will be rigged and the winners are already chosen j/k  Actually Ari helped me come up some really awesome contest categories that guy has a giant brain filled with great ideas. I love the fact that many sleepers come out to post when the contest is up. Like GolfDr, AVL, etc they are all awesome people who just don't post very often. Please help make the posts rewarding to the person who makes the thread. I don't have much time in a day to do posting so I'm gonna have to depend on the Boyz to kick it into high gear. This is your site guys let me know what you want....besides a free club
  19. Mr. Anserfreak plays a scotty Cameron my girl 2 putter, as many of you figured out Anserfreak modifies a lot of his stuff. Here are some pics of what he did to his My girl 2. Toshi was not satisfied with the bend that the stock My Girl 2 comes with. He used a golf works shaft bending machine to get the bend he desired. Here was the result. He used an NS pro putter shaft. Toshi couldn't resist and removed the sole piece of the My Girl. TourSpecGirl plays the My Girl too, we are planning on doing some shaft mods as well. I am now interested in the Red X as soon as I get mine I may have to change the bend and add 20g of weight in the low rear of the inside to raise M.O.I and get it to preferred specs. I will probobly use gel and lead to get the weight up.
  20. I'm just letting things loose before the new site is released . at first I started only wanting an E-com, then I thought what the hell lets do a Flash Intro, then I thought hey lets change the entire site, change its structure, and Look. Here is the status: E-Com = Complete Flash Intro = Complete New TSG Look = 65% complete Contest = 80% complete Surprise #1 = 10% complete Surprise #2 = 10% complete I have no worries really how dead things are I'm kinda letting them go stale my web team cant keep with my requests fast enough and I don't wanna bother them with changing the player of the month etc. My goal actually isn't the U.S market its in China, Taiwan, & other parts of Asia. So far in 2004 sales to Taiwan alone is over 10 times more than U.S sales. Less questions, Less children, Less Lies, and more money are why I prefer dealings to Asia. I'm positive the Contest will boost posting, image uploads, and overall traffic. This contest is to big already we got so many great prizes my guess is $5000.00 worth. Hang in there guys and remember the Import market is growing, It has not had the time to grow like the Tour market and imports are expensive, more expensive than Tour Clubs. This is all work in progress should be nice and I feel good things to come. Do you guys think I should remove the B/S/T from the recent scrolling box? Any suggestions would be great but keep in mind I'm trashing this site for the new one very very soon. I am confident we will rule by late this year.
  21. Thats just awesome guys, thank you for snapping some shots for us. Its been so long since I have been to a U.S tourney. :( Ryder Cup here i come.
  22. I have talked to several club builders about this and they all said that overall the quality and consistency of Mizuno is #1. I'm talking Head weights, Lofts, and Lie angles are much better than any other OEM including TM, Tourstage, and Miura. I have not given Mizuno a valid chance to make it into the bag but in 2 weeks my custom set comes in and then I will have a personal opinion on this subject.
  23. I tried the Tour Issue route, For my game it wasn't a smart move, I play a fade and the TM DF's I have owned turned a sloppy swing into a slice. I did have great results from a Tour DF built for a woman LPGA player, The face was square and it seemed just as good as the retail version TP. I'm now building a TM Tour Bag, It is work in progress but it will look something like this: Driver: R7 Max C.O.R Tour Issue 9.5 w/Fujikura 584HK FW's TM V-Steel Tour 15*, 18* Tour 200 smooth, 21* Tour 200 Smooth Irons: Lehman grind 300 forged Wedges: TM Tour Issue Black SW & LW Putter: TM XR05 monza Belly putter Bag: TM R7 Japan Staff Bag I have the FW's, The Driver is paid for and coming as soon as the Tour JPGA player can get a second Tour Issue R7. I am going to give TM one more try thanks to the retail R7 being so damn good.
  24. SR is stiff regular, The R7 feels like an XR03 with weight plugs. It is not muted at all and feels slightly similar to any recent TM Driver i.e R5 Series. Its a very long driver and easy to keep in the fairway. The weight plugs actually work if your mind doesn't make to much of it. There are 18 others with this driver on our site at the moment I hope some of them chime in about their experiences with this driver.
