I'd say it depends on what you want to spend. The JPXs and the MX-23 couldn't be further apart price wise. Also the flex profile of the JPX shafts are softer than the rest of the line since they target an older, more affluent market. So besides what you want to spend, it also depends on your swing.

The MX900s are pure game improvement, multi-material clubheads. The MP60s are a bit more forgiving than your 32s with slightly larger heads. Not sure how much forgiveness you needed. The JPX line is targeted at the high end Asian/Japanese market; expensive with shafts with softer flex profiles.

The MP line is Mizuno's "player" line, the MX their game improvement line and the JPX their high end executive line in Asia. The reason it doesn't make it to the US is the price point. Hope that helps. :tsg_smilie_smile:
  4. Just to show you what a great guy Chris is, he even gave me a choice between the MB2's and the G-Field NC-1's! I think I'll go with the NC-1's. I've been looking for a bit more forgiveness in my set and these fit the bill nicely! Thanks again, Chris!!
  5. Good idea! I'll be sure and put that in a future issue.
  6. I'm stunned! Thank you Chris for putting on such a great contest. I'm at an island resort and just got the chance to go on line. I can't say enough about this site. TSG rocks!!
  7. Really good price points for putters of this quality. :)
  8. Gorgeous putter, Chris. Classic head style, exquisitely manufactured. Belissima!

How forgiving is the 435, Chris? I hit the 405 and didn't care much for it. Good feel but not very forgiving at all.
  10. I concur with everyone that these aren't as good looking as his other models. I'm much more impressed with the work that TP Mills has done in recent months. His display at the PGA Show was awesome!
  11. Just played two rounds with the V-Steel 2, but with the ultra-light graphite shaft. Must say that I really found the shaft too light with the new lower center of gravity, it just kicked the ball way up in the air. I'm sure my opinion would be more favorable if I'd gotten the NS Steel shaft in it. That said, it's very easy to hit and sets up square to the ball.
  12. Good looking heads! They should suit a wide range of players and being cast, the price points should be more reasonable. :tsg_smilie_cool:

Neither. The face should be square to the target line at address. Yes, both have square face settings.

If you don't mind an American market product, I think the Cleveland Comp and Ping G5 are very good.

Check out the catalog. It'll help get you started.
  16. I'm still using mine. They don't play all that harsh with the DG Sensicores in them. Still really playable after all these years. I have club head covers so the heads still look pretty good. And the T-Zoid line is still alive and kicking in Asia Pacific. They've just stopped distributing it in the US.
  17. The Titleist 905R for me. My time with the 905T's been so positive, I can't wait.
  18. Sign me up! Proud to be part of TSG. Rock on! :)
  19. Kinda looks like the F50 fairway woods, no?
  20. I'm glad to see they didn't go belly-up; we all know that talk's been going around. Hopefully we see more new stuff from them. It'd be a pity to lose a brand like Honma.
  21. I agree with plus1. I've gotten used to 400cc + drivers, too. I can't wait to see the 450/460.
  22. My condolences also. I've lost two friends this year; it's never easy. Great tribute to your friend, Didier. God bless.
  23. Beauty! The machine marks on the face are the hottest thing these days aren't they? They'll put the hurt on your ball for sure.

Just had a 56* 8* bounce pass through. Really good looking wedge, IMO. The black finish feels slippery to the touch, not sure if it's got teflon in it or what. The catalog just says gunmetal. Classic teardrop shape. Killed leading edge and trailing edge relief. Some heel relief, too so if you like to play with the face laid open, you can. Great out of bunkers and around the green. I like very much.
  25. The local Mizuno rep was bragging that the JPX driver has a cor of .89 too. If you can find out check it out. The shafts are kinda wimpy though.
