S Yard XV vs. Maxima V
Interesting Chris. Me too which is why I am still experimenting with shafts in my Type D. Next up is the WBQ55. That said, even on none sweet hits, the distance loss is minimal. I guess that is what us social golfers should be aiming for, clubs that help our less than perfect swings.

Post Your Ryoma Maxima Review Here!
Would like to hear your side by side with your origina V-Spec 9.5. For me, my Type D 10.5 launches a tad higher than my D1 10.5 but te Maxima gives a lot more roll. I have not been able to try the same TJ46 shaft in the Maxima though. I have a WBQ 55 on the way in for the Maxima.

Just want to mess around with the weights. If you have a spare 3 or 5 gram weight for the JBeam/Crazy 435 (NOT 435 II) that you do not need, please drop me a PM. Thanks.

Congrats Gandor. Looking forward to your review. You play the CB-80 LS in your previous driver as well?

For me, it is highER launching but not high launching. Web reviews are only a guide. Try it for yourself. You don;t need more beer for better golf and you may swing better so a 9.5 could yet be right for you :-)

Finally.....the Bold wedge
Jimmie, have you played the shimada me wedge shaft? Just wondering how the crazy black wedge shaft is and I am very familiar with the shimada shafts.

MCI's - .370 into a .350/.355 iron.
Machine takes off way too much. What my fitter and I do is use a hand file and slowly and patiently file down to exact fit.

Sorry. Have to disagree. NOthing wrong as long as done carefully and with patience and a steady hand and not a machine and of course not overdone. From .370 to .355 is really not that much. Its been done many many many times to no short or long term detriment provided its done properly.

You can bore out the hoses or sand them down as you have suggested. I personally have done the latter several times with no issues. You will not destroy or ruin the shafts. I actually have seen it done on MCIs for a set of Epon 302s. No issues and it's been quite a while already.

Crazy CAVITY BACK irons
T. For your 5i sole pic. It looks like there is leading edge relief. Is this the case?

Modified Odyssey JDM Putter by Gold's Factory
Why would you assume that others would put side spin on putts perhaps presumably like you? Different strokes for different folks. If you are "driving the ball down into the ground", it is highly likely the loft was not right for your stroke and not the milling or ball position or too much forward press. Just some possibilities for you to consider. Side spin... hmmm.. hard to see how horizontal mill would do that... the new PZ mill with grooves on all directions is more likely to cause that but it did not for me on my Kitada. Different strokes...

Number 1 Crazy 435 R.I.P
wmclarenf1 replied to Craig's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearLol! Good one Craig! Was wondering what your number 1 is and was expecting a different head altogether! Looks like a shaft that was pulled one too times or a bad prep and install. Thanks again and cheers for your time and effort with your top 10.

SOLD: Ryoma Maxima G-type 9.5* head only
Lousifers, you are a certified ryoma Ho :-) Agree that the maxima rolls more than the D1. Some guys here are paring a high launch soft tip shaft for this and hence not seeing roll. I thinnk for the maxima, a mid kick stiffer tip shaft works better as the maxima does launch higher than the D1.

That horizontal milling on the face looks deadly. After a long side by side with the Kitada and GS, I'm if the view that for ME, the horizontal milling gives the best and truest roll for MY stroke.

IMPORTANT - RYOMA MAXIMA PRE-ORDER INSTUCTIONS
Any difference or preference? I'd rather it comes directly from Ryoma and have no issues with that. TSG just helps to ensure order goes through smoothly as ordered and helps if issues arise.
