Becarefull w/ this one!!!
I hope you are right! I have no problem w/ what you said, I'm just saying all this base on my experiences and what i know w/ refinish job from my end. I used a lot of Gold on the line under the sole and most Cameron/titliest/studios are using their copper color . I never seen they put gold on that line. And a someone saying also, w/ that style putter (TEi3 ), I never seen studio refinish it other than original gun metal finish, especially 2 years ago. As far as i know Only Kevin Colbert and I who does refinish putter back then w/ Nickel finish on the older version TEi3. Looking of the color on the stamping, It look like one of my work and I do still have that gold paint in my shop. Anyway, Good luck! Joe  ps: I hope you understand, I did this base on my past bad experiences people using my refinish job and claimed it as a tour issue. I even cought that guy red handed for that and he almost got in trouble from the buyer who are a big collector.

Becarefull w/ this one!!!
Sorry! I stop doing putter refinishing w/ satin nickel finish long time ago. I can't handle the amount of detail work that i have to do w/ putters. Always mess up my shoulder and fingers after a batch and Agoodgolfer always know when to take me out to the course and rip me off. :surprize: :money: I still do now and then if it not require a subcontracttor, Basically anything i can do in house...i'll still do it. THX! Joe

prgr/gauge/tourstage
Bending machine will pretty much tell more of how soft the metal is. So what Chris just said is pretty close to 100% IMO. Some people think feel is #1 on their list, some are cosmetic only. I know for sure, i'm looking for both! Joe

Becarefull w/ this one!!!
Here is the one i did that were almost at the same time w/ that one. Except that one has a gold line and this one has a copper line. If he show the picture from the back clearly, i'm sure i can tell more. I started this type of finish before platinum came out in the market. He might got fool also from the guy who sold it to him, so we don't know who to blame here. BTW, The one without a stamping on the bottom of the hosel, means was my own putter. I never did more than 26 putters at one time, because A -Z is only 26 letters and it's way to much to handle in one batch. I'm sure the old GEA members remember this. Joe

Adding weight to a G2 head
You need to open the hosel plug and inject a 24 hrs epoxy and tungsten mixture and let it sit to a spot you'ld like the bias to be.Proceed w/ reshafting the head after the glue completely dry. Good luck! Joe

Becarefull w/ this one!!!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...7136788864&rd=1 I'm almost 99% sure that this is one of my early refinish work. The T stamp in the bottom of the hosel is my marking to make sure that i didn't make a mistakes of who's putter was that one. It's been a while ( 2-3 years ago at least ), so it's hard for me to pull the work order from the original owner. But if i have to, i'm sure i can find it. I've refinished around 400 - 500 putters back then. So, please don't get fool by this type of sale. THX! Joe

Clubmakers - how do you choose one these days??
Let me think about that. Problem is that clubmaking alone wouldn't be commercially viable and equipment retail isn't great either. I've got an idea! Come over and work on my clubs first  Clubmaking is the main subject of the shop but off course that is not the only selling point of this business. If any serious inquiry, i will be bale to talk deeper to the subject. I might come to Shanghai this year and stay at my cousin's place. Joe

Most likely! I'm trying to clarify it ASAP. From What i did so far, YES is the answer. Joe  ps: Good thing I never cut and glue the shaft, I was shock the first time i saw the number on the Freq machine. :surprize: but quickly realise what is going on.

Clubmakers - how do you choose one these days??
Find me an investor who wants to open a shop under my name in Hong Kong or Shanghai. I'm willing to come and train them and I will come twice to Hongkong or Shanghai to make sure everything is in the right track. I will constantly monitor them to make sure nothing is in the wrong direction. BTW, Thanks for trusting me and a nice gestures. Joe Kwok

Fuji ZCOM MW 54
You are exactly correct on that one! They try to grab OEM market who have a bore through design. However, It makes the installation trickier but yet has more room to tweak around. Joe

.350 vs .335 tip.
I will second Lowpro comment! Most Freq machine are only measuring the butt area of the shaft, I will bet if we have a Freq machine who measure the tip area, 350" tip size will freq firmer than 335", unless they compensate when they construct it ( I doubt it ). Joe Kwok

bore through?
For most hobbiest club builder that doesn't have enough proper tools and experiences, i would suggest you just to cut the old shaft and drill it 1 1/2"- 1 3/4" depth progessively starting w/ a smaller drill bit and work it out as you go along till the wall are clean and fit the new shaft. Trying to safe the shaft from a titleist head w/ no experience and proper tools, you most likely burn the paint of the head.Just pick any shaft flex you think is right for your swing and just glue it w/ 1 1/2" - 1 3/4 depth insertion, It should play a true flex that you picked. Good luck! Joe Kwok
