  2. Damn You are so quick on that one! :-D :surprize: :money:
  3. Normal shaft at 80 grams will give you about D2-D3 at 43".For counter balance shaft will be totally different story. Joe
  4. Email me and i'll give you my # to discuss them on the phone. THX! JOe
  5. 671 is not in production anymore. I only have a few left on X flex New. No body has these shaft in stock anymore as far as i know. THX! Joe
  6. IMO! When the weather at 50 or below almost all shaft feel harsh and stiffer, especially on a thin shot.Wooden Dowel are basically to dampen the vibration and sound to give a better softer more solid feed back. I would love to work on your club , just let me know or call me if you need to discuss it before you make any decision. Selling shaft only is impossible, cuz my contract w/ TT will be on the line if i do that. THX! Joe  [email protected]
  7. Not a problem! just trying to help.JOe
  8. No dealers are suppose to sell shaft only. The dealer who did that will be in trouble. I can install one for you if you are interested. Let me know! THX! Joe
  9. Do you what a cushin is? and where they put that thing? Cushin is a rubber or silicon part that fill w/ ball bearing around 14" from the but to reduce vibration. Cushin completely block the middle part of the shaft. That cushin thing is about 2 inch long. Ping rarely using a tip weight when they install their shaft. So most likely you are talking about cushin. The best way to remove this is by squired a little solvent from the but and use a hook to catch the rubber part and pull it out slowly. Joe

Accra are made by Mamiya from Japan. If I'm not wrong they are the parent company of UST in japan. Accra try to eliminate the boardy charracter of UST pro force but yet maintaining the low torque and tip tightness. It's a good shaft IMO for quiker tempo swing who like to get the feel of the shaft kick at impact but yet don't want to loose it left. In a way saying, this shaft is harder to turn it left to far. IMO! Cheers! Joe ps: Let me know if you need some, I might be able to get this shaft soon.
  13. Any Dot on the hosel on every one of them? It should have 1 dot at least. THX! Joe
  14. Make sure heating it up enough so we could deep fried some Chicaron and Lumpiang Shanghai. :surprize: I'll make the sauce for it. J/K LOL! Seriously, After play , wash them and spray them w/ WD40 and wipe them of w/ a dry clean towel. Once a while you can reapply the gun blue solution if you want to. Joe
  15. I might have 1 left over brand new.send me email and i'll try to figure it out tomorrow whether i have one left or not. THX! Joe
  16. Give me a call so i can give you a better suggestion on what flex you should play.THX! Joe [email protected]
  17. Feel and sound wise is nothing like it out there IMO. Ball flight definitely no balooning w/ my type of swing. What amaze me is that it's in a cast club, It should be better on a forged club. Joe
  18. Imagine that I was testing the tour concept shaft on a cast PING I3 blade w/ all the goody in it ( blueprinted w/ dowel treatment ). Comparing it w/ DG shaft on a TM combo and TN87. Tour concept definitely at least 1/4 flex softer on the chart and progressively higher ball flight on the longer iron. What surprise me out of this quite practise time is that the sound at impact out of this shaft is much softer. The shaft are very smooth feel but yet produce enough tight shot's pattern comparable to DG. I will put a set of this shaft to replace my TM combo for sure. :) So After that practise, I was convinced that this shaft will be one of my stocks line up. This morning, I called the rep and discuss a few thing to help me out to fill up the pre ordered first and stocking set after. So! Let me know as soon as possible if any of you interested in this shaft and call me if you have any questions. Hope I put a fair review. For you guys who played them, please don't hesitate to give us more review for the Curious George. :smile1: Again Dec 8 is the shipping date. Thanks! Regards, Joe Kwok  [email protected]
  19. No! Softer. Joe
  20. Definitely installed only. If there are any dealer out there sell shaft only, they could be in trouble. Price quotation is only after knowing exactly what you really need on certain club head, basically i need to know what spec you really need it to be. 99.9% I only work on blueprinting the set to the spec that the player need. THX! Joe
  21. Looks like Dracula was the owner. :surprize:
  22. Are there other subflexes, ie: S1, S2, S3, R1, R2, R3 etc. I have heard they are around $60 a shaft. They only make an X1, S3, and R3, NO subflexes. We can softstep them to make subflex. Basically, I can make it work. :smile1: Joe
  23. Softer feel due different type of steel. Play bit softer in flex to compare to normal DG. Long iron hit the ball a bit higher w/ no balooning action. Progressively lower on the shorter iron. Other than that , we'll see some review from people who is playing them on the tour import folder. THX! Joe
