It's when guys have had their clubs worked on by Joe Kwok. He is a master clubmaker that does great work and is highly recommended. Also, I know Joe would never use Quickset unless it had to be. He would choose to use 24 hour. Thanks FAQ!! :smile1: Joe Kwok - "Tour Van" or quick dry epoxy problems
Heat it up w/ hair drier and try to peel it off w/ your finger nail or credit card.Hope that works! Joe - HELP! Tipping Fuji 869 X ?

Been there, done that and never comeback for almost 10 years now. ALways use a 24 hrs epoxy or a long full strenght cured epoxy. Cheers, Joe - TaylorMade responds to tour "retail" versus "
I would like to share a little bit of mine if you guys don't mind. TM Tour issue club is not made out of different material as far as i know. They might have a few subcontractor manufacturing the head but i'm sure they have to follow OEM guidance to get a consistent product. There are always Manufacturing tolerance here and there. That is why they have quality control department. Tour dept ussually sort them out again to hand pick the head to go to the tour van or their dept. Off course now a days they want to make sure that everything goes to the tour is at legal maximum COR. Working on the TM heads everyday from retail to tour, I saw a few different in their spec, again not material. Face angle, weight, marking ( some ), etc. R7: "Mostly" they've hand picked the heavier head for the tour dept/van and a liitle more open face angle. Anything over 2* open face, mostly are tweak w/ their special bending machine. I can tell all of them has a several bending mark on the hosel and most of the the hosel is not perfectly round anymore. Tour 510 tp or DF are "mostly" heavier and different feel are because of more rat glue inside the head when they adjusted the head weight, especially the one by the face area. Face angle are "mostly" more open too on this. I've done it so many time for a friends and close customers in helping them picking a club from the retail store shelf and brough it in my shop and adjusted the weight internally. Quite few of them I've hand picked from the shelf by bringing my "golf club gauge machine" to find a specific head spec. However, I can tell you for sure that not all PGA pro like to play those spec and some of them even play w/ retail stuff. I've seen a PGA pro walk in the store and bought a retail driver on his second day of tourney ( he shot 75 that day and pissed! ) and played it all the way and finish top 10 that week. Again , Those are "some" of experiences that i could share. Cheers! Joe - Blade Golf is a new sponsor and a special thanks!
Welcome home Richard! :smile1: Joe - Wanted Tour or tP mid rescue 22*

No comment! :smile1: Or else you'll find my body floating in the bay. LOL! I will only say one thing if I'm the man " I will make sure everybody is happy w/ the profit margin " :money: Joe  ps: Wow! Title says it all! I will do my best to pre order the shaft to have it in time. please call or email for quotation. Thank you! Joe Kwok  [email protected] Note: Dealers are not allowed to sell shaft only.- Small nail dent/imprint on my True Temper shafts
Just like most of Mizuno iron, they put that dimple for better grip on the epoxy. Nothing wrong at all. They are all done by the OEM who build them together, not TT. Joe - Blue Thunder shafts?
Off spec doesn't mean you can't gain 20 yards, Switching from what?, What kind of swing he got?, Flex?, lenght? etc, etc. If the shaft fits his swing , any body can gain 20 yards, maybe even 30. Plus 20 yards means nothing if you gain 20% rough hit also, or maybe even gaining 20% OB. :o It's the same thing i'm buying from any major brand company and put my label and paint on it and spec them out my self and call it "G String" JOe LOL, your right about the shaft fitting thing. I guess my question should have been phrased like this..... What does Blue Thunder do? Do they take 1.)the "off spec" 661s/569s/etc and just repaint and sell or 2.)"sort" them out themselves into different models and then sell them? Option 1 is not good but option 2 is not so bad if you see specs you like. Also which Fujis are we talking about...Triax or Fit ON/Zcom? or even worse VPs  I have no idea which one exactly, Basically no body knows. For sure Fuji America doesn't like it when BT use "By fujikura" because the quality control is way unlike fujikura at all and if anything wrong people start calling fujikura for waranty issue or just plain simple complaint. How do you feel if you are fuji's customer service? You're pretty much answered everything your self, plus ask your self if you do need to copy the exact set up that you like w/ BT shaft...what do you think is the chances you will get it right? Cheers! Joe - Blue Thunder shafts?

Yes! they will be available in the US. They've contacted me already to handle the distribution but the whole sale price still in the limbo as of now. I've done my share to let them know what i know and what works and what is not, Now it's up to them that if they want to listen to me or not. I would love to handle it, but i need to be realistic also in handling it. Right? As most of you know that i've been handling their Japan issue shafts for a while now. Don't worry I'm not going to give them up anytime soon as long as the price are within reach. :money: Cheers! Joe - .350 tip shafts
Some Mitsubishi Rayon and Speeder 757 too. :smile1: Joe - whats in your bag?
Geez! How many % were own by the the great Willy CB ? :surprize: LOL! Joe - Holy inefficient market, Batman!
LOL! We can't have all the luck Jeff. :smile1: Not every one out there is knowledgable also. Joe - Blue Thunder shafts?
It's a fuji shaft that doesn't pass the quality control. That is the info straght from the source!Hope that help! Joe - Need to change lie on a V-Steel 4 wood (Tour), who can do it
NO not me! If I were you I would just sell it and buy the right loft, less risk and les money to spend at the end. The risk of damaging the head is quite big. Good luck! Joe - fujikura cpm
How little? It could be from 1/4 - 3/4.Joe- fujikura cpm
First! you are confusing us w/ the number here. 275 is pretty high # for most cpm machine. That is pretty close to a XX.if you are trying to tip 652 S to play an X flex like the Fuji six by matching the cpm # only, you will never find the right answer (playing charracter wise) IMO. But if your question is how much do you have to tip the 652 S to play around X flex Fuji six ( playability ), That would be a more resonable question. I would say around 3/4 - 1" tip, because fuji six play a little soft for an X. However it's all depending on type of hosel design, swing weight, lenght, and grip weight. Anyway what i'm trying to say is if you are looking to be as close as possible is not that simple. It'll probaly took me at least 30 - 60 minutes to figure it out + if if the clubmaker doesn't have enough experience on hitting those two shaft...they will never get it right. But the suggestion i gave you should be close enough. This is one of many reasons that i don't or can't carry to many shaft. Good luck! Joe  - Tour Concept from True Temper PIC!
