Any updates for those lucky few with this driver? I know this debate has been kicked around ad nauseum, but would the GD made for shaft in this driver be the same as a retail model of the same line. I know the GD shaft in the .388 is a proto design, but is it a watered down "made for" shaft? I always wonder when graphics don't match up to their aftermarket shafts.

Stew thanks for the suggestions. I really believe with the right weights and shaft this head might be a beast. Unfortunately, the original owner didn't have the weights or the wrench. Is this something that can be obtained through kamui?

Up for trade or sale is a very good condition 10.5* Kamui Pro KP-X driver and plays to about 44.5. I very much wanted the head to work out, but I think I do better with shallower faced drivers. As some of the reviews on the board state the driver is anti-left, and I managed to get some very deep drives with this driver, but ultimately I don't think the shaft matches with my swing and I don't have the patience to look for the right combination. Catch it in the middle of the club face and the ball is deep with a nice mid high flat trajectory. Toe hits tend to get better than they deserve. Asking for $520 obo shipped in the domestic US. As for trades I am looking for wedge sets of 54/58 or 52, 56, 60 or some other similar variation. Fairway woods and hybrids between 13* and 18* on the wish list. Also looking for a quadra fire express shaft 65 grams or heavier in stiff flex. Open to other trades if you have something else you would like to offer. Well thanks to a trade with one of the resident hoarders of the legendary Diamana Stinger (68 gram stiff) I am now a happy owner. I am looking forward to trying this bad boy out to see if the hype lives up to myth. I have a couple of heads that might be worthy of the shaft, but knowing that pulling a shaft is always an adventure, I am hoping to install this once, and then make it a permanent home. Some of the heads that I have around that might be a good fit include a 10* Epon 380, Epon 10* Epon 420, 10* Yamaha v410, 10.5* Kamui kpx. Or is there another head out there that seems to be a match made in heaven, maybe a Ryoma Vspec 9.5. To those that have tried this shaft, your suggestions would be more than welcomed. Thanks in advance.

I've got a beautiful combo set in satin. 5-7 302s and 8-pw AF tour. Modus 3 stiff and iomic grips. Excellent shape.

I should also clarify flex designation by Crazy notes 6.7 as a stiff regular for swing speeds in the 95-105 range.

I noticed when Cleveland tried the micro milling on the face that they wore very quickly. Grooves were fine, but the micro milling seemed to disappear at heavy impact areas. Anyone experience this on the models posted?

Pete thanks for filling that in. H, the cb black to me feels a little firmer to the ad-di6 and di8 that I've tried. To me spins less with slight lower launch. Matches the loft well. Very boring shots altho the launch is higher than the 435 I tried.

The merry go round continues and the only reason I want to move this driver is that I am starting a new build with diamana stinger that I want to give a fair shot without any distraction. So offering for potential trade or cash + trade, a very clean condition Jbeam 425 Tour head with Crazy Black CB 46 6.7 flex shaft. Head was ordered new by another wrxer and amongst its owners I don't believe the head has hit more than 20 balls. head weight 197.9, square face, and playing length slightly longer than 45 inches. Trying to get an idea if anybody has an Epon stand bag they are considering selling. Would probably have more luck with international sellers, but shipping costs might make it to expensive.
