bruinduke's WITB-JDM Contest Edition
T, I found Rei on the auction site a few years ago. Thought it was a good compromise to some of the more "provactive" figures of Rei out there. YP, hope you recognize the TM200. It's the one you sold me a couple years ago. It has survived the many bag changes, but I thought I would hurt my chances if I showed at address your touch up refinish job...

bruinduke's WITB-JDM Contest Edition
Thanks fellas for the kind words. T, there's a lot more anime, but I guess I'll have to save it for the next episode. Hopefully not too borderline 40 year old Virgin. My wife actually commented last night..."what, you're taking those toys out of their boxes?" Only for TSG...

bruinduke's WITB-JDM Contest Edition
Invincible 14: Episode I, "One Team...One Soul". Scene: in an underground fortress towards the western outskirts of Tokyo (the Orange County prefix of Southern California to be exact) our heroes do a weapons check. Que intro music… "Turning JDM" Sung to the tune of The Vapors' "Turning Japanese" I've taken pictures of them and me I've sent you paypal and gone on sprees I end up spending and there's nothing I can do Oh it's Tourstage my bag is white Patent leather trim is not so light Doesn't matter, I often carry you when I play a round I've posted pictures, I've posted pictures Got a million stored in my cel I want Joe to Kwok them Or I don't think they'll play as well They've got me swinging up my index down And shooting some low low rounds I'm using JDM I think I'm using JDM I really think so Using JDM I think I'm using JDM I really think so I'm loving JDM I think I'm loving JDM I really think so Loving JDM I think I'm loving JDM I really think so I've got some Epon, I've got some Epon Got copper wedges, I think they're swell They're tuned by Carl I'll take them with me to heaven or to hell They've got my sand saves up, my scores are down I'm shopping TSG I think I'm shopping TSG I really think so Buying JDM I think I'm buying JDM I really think so No Cally, no TM, no Titty, no Adams Mostly Tourstage, Epon, no wonder it's JDM US Domestic is an almost stranger Avoid BS sites or my games in danger That's why I'm using JDM Mostly using JDM I really think so Mostly JDM Mostly using JDM I really think so Using 202s I think I am using 202s My grips IOMIC Turning JDM I think I'm turning JDM I really think so Domo TSG Domo TSG I want to thank you (thank you thank you) Turning JDM I think I'm turning JDM I really know so… As our episode begins, the doll like Rei Ayanami checks her unit 00 for battle conditions. Rei is nearly indestructible in her white, red and black patent leather like Tourstage Unit 00. The retractable legs provide needed respite during 18 holes of fighting the Angels. While Rei carries the heavy load, a trio of old school warriors Raiden, Mazinger, and Gaiking protect the lost grail J340. Despite modern advances in mecha design the J340 offers the holy trilogy of aesthetics, workability, and unsurpassed feel. As can be seen in the foreground the newer Xdrive 435 is ready when volume over precision is needed. No team is complete without a couple token Western allies. Captain America in addition to his trusty shield, branishes an AGT Supernova 5 wood (best wood you never heard of) and a Taylor Made 200 15° smoothie powered by a Fujikura 857 pro-ti. Like other heroes of the West these woods are short in thought, but long in brute strength. Distance is their primary goal. The anti-hero muscle of the group, Shotaro Kaneda, returns to headquarters in his custom cycle. His cycle feels like it's riding on air especially since it's equipped with a Bridgestone 21° Air Muscle. The 3-iron replacement allows the team to achieve lofty heights and soft landings that other 3 irons are incapable of duplicating. The core of Invincible 14 is found in the team's irons. Go Lion TS202 irons individually…long, mid, and short irons form feet (accuracy), arms (forgiveness), and legs (distance). Iomic forms the head…As a whole, Voltron lays waste to approach shots. Armed with tour concept shafts, the bright Iomic grips provide the bling to Voltron's blazing sword. Rounding out the short irons is a couple of Sayan brothers. Goku and Vegeta are big Dragon-ballers with Epon 52° and 58° copper wedges. These twin DBZ brethren power up Super Sayan style with tuning by Carl. The tuning lets these twins blast from the sand, chip from tight or fluffy lies, and bite with uber power levels. Kameya…meya x2. At the heart of the group is the lovely Faye Valentine and her customized Scotty Cameron Newport Beach Centershaft putter. Don't let appearances fool you. Cryogenically frozen like Faye, the Scotty proto was brought back from the dead by master surgeon T.S. of Slighter Industry Technologies. More bionic than your average putter, the proto has tungsten ingots to get the headweight up and is now mostly faced balanced. This putter above all others has captured the team's heart. Oh Faye, what a lovely face (balance) you have! As our episode ends, our fallen heroine Kagera, reaches out with her final words… "Oh Jubei TSG…I am so glad I met you…" The end...or is it just the beginning...

On Off Driver with Roddio

WTS/WTT Tourstage X drive 460P 9.5 Fuji VTLT stiff flex
Okay, everytime I open the Chikara wedge post, I start going through withdrawals so capital is needed. TRADED Other trade interest besides a 430P or FT-i, would include oakleys with ruby lenses, Nintendo Wii, Cameron center shafted Newport/Newport Beach, Ben Hogan dvd or Hardy's Plane Truth dvd. Or if you think of a good trade that involves partial trade just hit me up.

WTS/WTT Tourstage X drive 460P 9.5 Fuji VTLT stiff flex
WTS and might trade a Tourstage X Drive 460P 9.5* driver. No need to tell this crowd how rare this club is. Limited to 1000 pieces. Comes with OEM headcover. What makes this club more appealing is the stiff flex VTLT Fujikura tour spec. This is a good combination for the high ball hitter looking to keep the ball away from the left. Shaft doesn't quite fit me even though I do like the fade bias and the run out I get with this driver. Looking for a 430P in 9.5 or 10.5 loft. Might also consider a FT-i 9.5 in fade or possibly neutral. We can discuss $ to balance, but please pm if interested. TRADED...thanks Mgrrl.

Any feedback on the Tourstage X drive GR
Does anyone have any feedback on the X Drive GR? Any comparisons with current line up of X drive. Just wondering if the design has proven to be more user friendly or would the 430P and 460P with the appropriate shaft work just as well for the non tour player? Thanks for the feedback...

Tourstage 460P - Worth the Money?
Would a 9.5° 430P head and a 9.5° 460P head launch the same if both had the same shaft, and all things about the swing being equal? Is it just the GD proto X flex shaft that makes the difference between the 2 drivers? Or does the design difference in the 430P and 460P design make 9.5° marked heads play differently? Hope this isn't too much of a threadjack...I am interested in finding either head, but want to understand the difference as well.

WTB/WTT4 Tourstage Xdrive 430P

WTS: FT-5 Tour and Sumo Driver
I recently traded for these two drivers from a great member here, but still like the 671TE in the driver. WTS a retail FT-5 tour 9.5* with Axiv-v 7072 shaft. Shaft is 70 grams and plays to a stiff flex, grip is orange Iomic. SOLD SUMO 9.5 driver with Axiv-v 6070. Shaft is 62 grams and plays to a stiff flex, grip is black Iomic grip. Head Sold. Pics borrowed from original post with permission. These shafts retail for $350 each. These shafts feel very stable and anti left. A half flex softer and one of these could be in the bag. Both drivers have been re-shafted professional and only played 2 rounds with. Trade interest include scotty cameron center shaft newport beach, Newport Detour 33/350, Superquad or Tourstage 430P. Please just pm with questions or offers.

WTB/WTT4 Scotty Cameron Newport Beach Center shaft Prototype
Need to experiment with a center shafted putter so looking for my favorite. Looking for a Scotty Cameron Newport Beach Center shaft prototype. Looking for the model with the small hosel and 3 dot alignment aid. Blue headcover would be a plus. Would also consider the Newport Stainless center shaft, but prefer the beach model. Have lots to trade including a 33/350 mil spec, new napa valley amongst others. Can also buy for the right price. Looking for a gamer so condition doesn't have to be perfect. Please pm with any offers. Thanks.

EPON 380 Technica
Nice looking driver, yourpressed. If you do well with smaller head sizes try a Tourstage J340. With the right shaft that was such a rewarding driver.

Limited Edition Tourstage X-Drive 460P w/PICS
Does anyone that bought the 460P from TSG or elsewhere have any feedback after hitting the 460P? A local shop has one new in wrapper that's being kept out of the show room inventory, and I want to know whether it's worth picking up. It's almost hypnotic seeing such a good looking driver, but without hitting it at the range don't know what kind of fit it would be for my mid handicap swing.

Limited Edition Tourstage X-Drive 460P w/PICS
Chris, do you have any comparison pics between the 460P and 430P? I was hoping to see face height and at address side-by-side pics if possible.

Limited Edition Tourstage X-Drive 460P w/PICS
I think it is soft to flex. I was told that it measured at 255 cpm at the shop in the area. Hopefully someone can confirm.

WTB Tourstage X-drive 460P
my bad. A local shop had one. Emphasis on had. Just need one without the wrapper on the head.

Any current line of Japanese clubs carry collector value over time
Just wondering if anyone had a crystal ball and might have an idea if any current line of Japanese equipment might have a chance of standing the test of time. For a while finding a Tourstage J340 was the grail of drivers. Mizuno TN-87 seems to have a cult following, still retaining a premium especially in mint condtion. Kasco's KP99 3 wood was also an underground club that are rarely seen on the boards. Is it limited quantity or quality of design that gives a club the chance to be sought after years? Are Gauge Design hand made studios or milled mbs or Tourstage X-Drive 460P limited availabilty going to make these clubs sought after in the next couple of years?

WTB Tourstage X-drive 460P
Finally get a chance to swing one and love the looks and feel. One is on the way, but looking to see if any member might be able to expedite my wait and pass a gamer along. So if the fade bias doesn't fit what you're looking for, I can buy head only or with the GD proto shaft. Can offer trades or work out a cash price. Please PM me to discuss.

Did Gauge Design ever make a stand or staff bag.
Thanks T for posting pics. Hmm, that gets me thinking. No stand bags though?

Did Gauge Design ever make a stand or staff bag.
I thought I saw a post of a preproduction Gauge Design Bag (or was that a G-field bag)? Did GD ever push through with a stand or staff bag?
