Great guy to deal with guys! Sold me some Monaco's
  2. Do the math. Ball speed/Club speed. All at 1.48 (rounded of course). Very consistent.
  3. He never claimed to have Sadlowski type speed. Look at his stat sheet he provided. His 3W club head speed was 115. Driver should be at about 5% more at 120-125. The funny thing is 6 iron club head speed should be at about 80% of driver which would put the driver in the 135 range but golf has so many variables that it doesn't always follow a linear scale. And there is NO way you can judge club head speed by just looking at a swing. If you saw where his ball landed on that video you'd probably have a general idea but no way just from the naked eye.

  5. Damn was hoping you'd keep the 302's and sell the Personals! GLWS and have fun with the Personals.
  6. Did you see the 10th anniversary wedges Vokey had on his website? $250 a pop plus shipping you're looking at $520+ easy. TSG price on the 52/58 set is a steal plus you get the super lush box. Those individual wedges are going on ebay for $300+ and limited to 75 each.
  7. I would say find a place that has a SAM putting lab. Uses an ultrasound to analyze your swing. Get the specs and your tendencies and have Gold's build you a custom made putter from the ground up. If the putter is built to your specs you'll spend less time manipulating the putter to get it square. There are so many factors ie left aim bias/right aim bias that OTS putters sometimes just don't cut it. Of course putting is more about your ability to read greens and consistency. The latter will dramatically improve if you get a putter built for you.
  8. If you go to the ON/OFF website it shows their stand bag on a pulley cart. If you choose the Japanese site and click the second scroll picture it'll show the full image. Only other one I've seen is in the pro shop made by Epon. Comes in 3 colors including the gaudy orange. http://www.tourspecgolf.com/proshop/p2059/...oduct_info.html
  9. Love the accents on the wedges. Putters are phenominal as usual.
  10. Have a few GD putters in black teflon that will probably last forever. Also a few in ss and satin finish. The only finishes I would be afraid of are chrome, black chrome, and maybe the stock finishes like silver star for GS. I personally have not dealt with GS putters but if the silver star is similar to the GD putters then they will show signs of wear. I'm sure you know how to take care of your putters. Simple things like wiping them down and making sure they aren't moist when you leave them in the putter cover for extended periods of time. Chrome, black chrome, oxide finishes will get torn up with any kind of moisture. Also keep in mind the finishes will yield different feels as well as how aesthetically pleasing to they eye you want the finishes to be.
  11. That black chrome is orgasmic
  12. Just look at them. Total eye-candy. Confidence builder baby!!
  13. Is that a 9.5 or 10?
  14. TM TP Driving Iron is solid. Goes 235 and straight as an arrow. Get's up off the ground fast and drops soft. Shape is also very appealing for a driving iron. The only gripe is it has a hollow smack feel.

Chris can you get any other characters like DORAEMON?
  16. Most people just buy the shaft and install it. You my friend on the other hand have to buy an entire new set :tsg_smilie_smile:
  17. SUPER DUPER LONG NECK.
  18. Here's the link if you don't know what Chris is talking about http://forum.tourspecgolf.com/index.php?showtopic=21286# Based on your info if your a reg-fast tempo and want medium ball flight then the 7572 (77g) is your cup of tea. But definetly go through the fitting forum to get a shaft tailored to you.
  19. You can say that again :tsg_smiley_yes:

X-tours are nothing compared to the latest offerings. First off the heads are WAY too heavy. As far as the forgiveness factor, you'll soon forget how forgiving the clubs are once you start hitting the club. Don't get me wrong, I bought a set of x-tours, but when I compare them to my R7 limiteds, Matsumotos, GD, Mizzys, it's just a completely different feel...like going from hitting butter to thwacking the ball with a wood board.
  21. Not to discourage you from both your choices but both drivers were released early last year. There are definetly newer and better choices out there for 2006. Non-comforming just means the COR limit is higher than USGA standards. So the face will feel HOT and the spring effect will be greater. A few members on this board love the 505 and i think a Japanese publication rated it #1 but this was last year. The latest craze seems to be the Epon Technicity 460. I bought into it :tsg_smiley_yes:

    NICE!
  23. I remember Chris talking about this driver a few months ago. In fact the description in the pro-shop matches what he posted a while back. To me it seems like a fad club with the "Japanese World Record Holder" using the club people are flocking to buy it. How many of us mortals can generate that kind of club head speed to hit it 400 yards? I say stick with what's proven for us average-better than average golfers. The Epon 460 seems to be HOTT right now I might just have to spend the big bucks.

Joe Kwok and Ari from Scratch Golf are pretty much experts on the kp-99. In fact I own a kp-99 that used to belong to Ari and Joe. Very limited availabilty, hand-made, superb quality. Came in 2 versions; painted face or metal face. It's not the easiest 3-wood to hit but probably one of the sweetest ever made. Kind of like the legendary Titleist 970, when you hit it flush it'll GO GO GO and nothing feels sweeter. I've launched this badboy 320+ before so it's long.
  25. How are these in comparison to the MR23 Blades?
