  1. If you want feel and don't care about forgiveness then go with the Mizuno Tour Spirit Model 1. And make sure it's model 1. Probably the best feeling driver I've ever played. Keep in mind it's older than the Tourstage X-500 and back in the days cost about $800 usd. Titanium driver that had this beautiful thwack and feel of a persimon.
  2. LOL Chris, Owning 1 of the 500 ever made is not enough I guess. :surprize:
  3. As of now, no more custom orders outside of Japan.
  4. Yes, $900+ for a putter is very steep. Even more than the Bettinardi XM commemorating his World Championship win. Very similiar in shape to the XM as well.
  5. The z101 model was a US only Tourstage offering. Very similiar shape and design to the MR23 CB U.S Specs including the tungsten weight behind the muscle. I believe there was a satin version as well that could be purchased from their tour/japanese department. Great irons overall, very easy to hit.
  6. Give Chris some time. I'm sure he's working out a deal with either Mizuno USA or Mizuno Japan. He's a respectable man and doesn't want to burn any bridges or connections he's made. I have a good feeling this isn't the end of custom Mizunos forever
  7. Was looking through the catalog and came across this beauty. Does anyone know if Maru is currently using this? Chris or anyone do you have any feedback on this? Pics taken from the TSG Catalog
  8. Incredible is an understatement. Two awesome looking Camerons.
  9. Face is starting to rust???? Makes me wary of getting a shiny black set. Do you oil those bad boys up every week?
  10. Play them, then refinish them in the chrome so they'll be in original condition. Having them satined and one of a kind is cool but the original conditional will bring you the most money. BTW are the irons the exact specs as Tiger's include loft, shaft etc?
  11. How does it roll Chris?

Built especially for Maru. Do a search and you'll find some more info. They only came in select mr-23 blade/x-blade sets. Very rare set.
  13. Looks like a Bett BB-1. Is this Bettinardi's DASS material?
  14. Nice find DL although the 404's look better imho. The 505's look like a cross between the x-blade cb's and t-zoids.
  15. It's rumored to happen but so far no photos or even prices. I'm guessing retail pricing will be around 180,000-200,000 yen and street prices will be around $1200 usd. Most likely another limited run set probably at 1500 pieces. If they can top the old mr23 u.s. spec's I'm definetly buying a set.
  16. MR23 Blades aesthetically blow away the x-blades. Functionality wise it's a different story. The MR23 Blades are simply stunning
  17. nice toys you picked up there Paul :surprize:
  18. Geesh this is the guy's BST post. He paid for it so I would like to hope that you guys could refrain from the cheapshot, derogatory comments. I'll remember to bash all of your BST posts but then again you guys are probably too cheap to afford the $1.50 fee as well. Sorry about getting off topic.
  19. The X500 was an insanely good driver just like it's predecessor the X100. A majority of the Tourstage staff played that club and I remember 5-6 years ago that was the club to have.
  20. Great review Didier. Although shelling out $600+ for a set of AXIV shafts is :fever: Besides, only old men use graphite in their irons :smile2:
  21. Great great club but just not long enough this day in age. Probably considered one of the best looking drivers of all time but again, the forgiveness cannot be compared to say a r5tp, r7tp, or any 400+cc driver. Don't get me wrong, the J340 was a great "players" driver as you could work the ball with ease but just give me 300yds down the line with super easy forgiveness and I'm sold.
  22. Chris what's your pricing on the r5 tp?
  23. Zojo - you forgot to ask if you could get a free dozen to try :smile2: LOLOLOLOLOL Easy now

All depends on your swing. I know a while back when David Duval had a gut and weighed 250+ in order for his shoulders and body to rotate through impact his head had to move. But typically speaking, zero to no head moving is key as it will give you the most consistent ball-striking at impact. When your head moves laterally, whether it be at the start of your swing or during the downswing, your body will also shift causing your shots at impact to be off.
