TT Tour Concept shafts are not necissarly the new PX killers but they play simliar to the TFR's but with constant weighting. This way you get tighter dispersion and lower spin that were problematic with the TFR's. Tour concepts are more for the smooth swinger and low ball hitter while the PX's are more for a hitter. Better feel at impact too as the PX sometimes are dead feeling. Retail on these badboys will be $60-$75 per shaft. I have a feeling TT will definetly come out with a PX killer very soon as PX has blown away their entire offering.

I read about it at another forum...SUPPOSED releasal is November 04. The poster said something about 99.9% FE kind of like the black x-wedge I have I guess. Also said something about being a milled face as well. If you haven't heard anything about Chris then I doubt it's out.

Maruyama MR23 CB's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Think there's a new releasal of the mr23 wedges...even more limited...different material used. Can you confirm this Chris?
  5. Haha...they sure aren't mine. They got sent out just these past days.
  6. That's what I've been saying all along...the GD's are not game improvement and I could care less what other's think...just don't like misinformation being passed around especially by people who don't even own the irons. The difference between the Hiro's and GD's are millimeters.
  7. HAHAH...Go and get that SRIXON HOSHINO Bag.
  8. Matched them up side by side...to the unsuspecting eye they look dead even. Like i've said before...the black really hides the size well. Busted out the measuring tape and voila...the Hiro's are a tad smaller, were talking about MM here.
  9. Baby blue?!?!?! Nice set though
  10. Live in Arcadia...close to Pasadena, Rosemead, Monterey Park. If you want to set a time I'll bring all my goodies for you to test :smile2:
  11. For sure the Hiro's have less offset. They are very similiar to the MR23 CB's in size, profile, offset etc. Forgiveness wise the GD's are in a league of their own. Hands down some of the most forgiving irons I have ever played. The main thing with the Hiro's is you get punished more on the feel than the distance and direction. I've been missing alot on the heel because I need my lie angle adjusted but the ball still goes straight and maybe 5-10 yards in lost distance. The Hiro's feel like s**t if you miss but so do most of the iron sets I own. I think with the GD's they don't punish you as much on dispersion, distance, and feel if you mis**t them. If your a good ballstriker then these badboys are perfect for you. I get excited everytime I go out to the range and hit them. If your a "player" then I don't see why you wouldn't get these because they fit the player profile.
  12. The hiro's have a hint of nickel satin in their look but overall they are a beautiful satin finish. If your in the LA area Godfather1 I wouldn't mind meeting up and showing you my gear. Most of my GD irons have taken a beating Chris. Been touching them up with krylon plastic enamol paint and black plastic dye. I don't pratice with them on the range anymore :wah:. Does GD do any refinishing on the teflon? And would they have silverstone coating (2nd generation teflon...more durable)?

WOW...what has Muira come to now??? Well Muira NA is a marketing machine and good for them on pushing their product.
  14. What wedge is that Chris?
  15. Pics firsts REVIEW to come later after they get back from Paul at Shreveport Golf. Gonna give the NS PRO 1050 a try. Hiro Matsumoto MI02 vs 2004 Gauge Design CB [/img]

Just think about how much more it would cost to get a set blueprinted to your specs. Loft, Lie, Length adjustments would cost some money from a good club maker. Plus they are customized to whatever pleases you. Just lay down the dough and buy them!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. W404???? From what Chris has said it is all the rave. But I am surprised you dumped the JC...seemed like you could hold on to it for more than a year
  18. PICTURES
  19. The Hiro's are dead sexy and mighty fine irons. Feedback on good shots is awesome and bad shot's aren't too punishing. Overall if your a good ballstriker I think the MI-02's are great players cb's. Interesting fact...I compared my Gauge Design teflon irons to the Hiro's and they are close to dead even in size (so everyone claiming the GD's are game improvement shovels need to see for yourselfs!!). I'll post some picks after I get my Hiro's reshafted and bent to my specs.
  20. YOU HO!!!! SAY IT AINT SO :surprize: So the second time around is final right
  21. The general rule of thumb when putting is to only move your shoulders in a pendulum motion. If you find yourself wobbling on your takeaway focus on just pushing your left shoulder down while keeping your wrist, forearms, and elbows in the same position. Depending on your putting stroke (straight back, or arc) this may or may not be easy. A straight back, straight foward stroke causes you to manipulate the putter head during the backstroke while an arc'd stroke is a natural out to square to in stroke. Either way, work on just the takeaway and only the takeway (meaning don't complete the stroke)...do this for about 5 minutes until you get comfortable with just the backstroke. After you get this down, work on tempo (general rule of thumb is use the tick-tock method...tick for back tock foward). If all else fails...invest in proaim glasses or this http://www.tgw.com/customer/category/produ...ATEGORY_ID=4784

Go to your local hardware store and get some acetone. You'll probably need something sharper and firmer than a q-tip to dig out the paintfill. Make sure not to get the acetone on anything plastic.
  23. I once had a dream of emulating Maruyama's bag even down to the belt he wears. But his driver is just blah, his irons are so damn hard to hit, his wedges are too damn light, and his shoes are so damn expensive. It's definetly a lot of points on the cool factor to look down and see an entire bag of MR23 items...but for me it definetly didn't help the game. If I were a collector then I'd make an all Maruyama bag (Limited edition driver, irons w/ M266V shafts, Limited edition mr23 wedges, Limited Maru bag, MARU XM360 putter...the list goes on) and probably not play it.
  24. Chris, any idea how the i404's play? What is their size in comparison the the GD's and Matsumoto irons?
