What is the fuji bluestreak
Same exact shaft as the 660tr except it's a XX flex. Supposedly only 50 made and made for David Toms. There's a picture of it in the "best bag forum" under my bag :smile2: Has the tourspec graphics on the front and a bluestreak facing down. Looks awesome if you install the shaft facing down. 72gram 3.4torque midhigh kick

New Taylor Made equipment review
Don't really like the look of the new TM CB's. Especially with the fat TP sign right smack center on the back of the iron. If they got rid of that and finished it in satin I'd reconsider though.

Just something to share :)
Its powder coated. Completely different from teflon coating. Powder coating is similiar to liquid paint but applied in a different method. Much easier to apply than paint and adheres better to metals.

player CB vs "GI" player CB
If you define headsize as the only thing that distinguishes a regular cb from a "players" cb then yes the mr-23 cb's, rac cb's are all so called player's cb's. There are also so-called regular cb's that have thin toplines, little offset making them just regular cb's and not players cb's like the z101's and mp30's. :-D As far as playability, if players cb's have to play blade like and not as forgiving as regular cb's then yes the mr23's fit in that category. The 23's are no doubt great irons and even better lookers. But I have moved on to find irons that fit my game better and not the other way around. I'm in no way trying to argue with you Primo but I don't really care if what I play (GD CB irons) is classified as a players cb, regular cb, or game improvement. Everyone comes to this board to read about golf gear as well as get opinions about what is good and what is not. If someone says that they feel this iron plays like a players cb then that's their opinion. If you have a problem with people claiming that certain irons are so called players cb's then that's something you can't stop because there is no set math formula to make a players cb. One person's opinion is one person's opinion and you have to respect that.

High Kick and Low Kick Shafts....what is the difference?
A high kick point normally means a stiffer shaft. A lower kick point helps the player get the ball in the air easier. Mid-High kick point is somewhere in between. If you have trouble getting the ball in the air then go with a lower kick. If you hit balloons with your shaft then go with a mid-high to high kick. Of course effective loft is the best way to change trajectory. Different shafts have many different characteristics ie tip bends/middle bends/butt end bends. Go get a fitting and find out which shaft and loft combination gives you the most distance.

Japanese R7 TP Pics
Fuji's and GD's are two completely different beasts. Different feels different trajectories. If anything, I think the GD's get the ball up in the air much easier. The i-65 is probably close to the FUJI 660tr or 771ta.

Help me make a decision on putters ?
RED X 2 feels soooo good. Alignment its very very easy but probably not as simple as say a back aligned putter. I'd say go with whatever works the best. Personally...can you putt with an elephant d**k (ELDIK)??

Gauge Design BLACK review
So here goes...after 3 range sessions and 2 course sessions I think I've got a good feel for these irons. Tell me what you guys think about paintfills. Should I take out all the paintfill and just leave the Gauge logo or leave the logo, and the letters G D. Red paintfill anyone?? Forgiveness: These are where the GD's really shine. As you have heard on numerous occasions, the GD's are the most forgiving player's CB's and probably not far from the most forgiving clubs I have ever played. I had my friend bring his cally x-16's and I brought one of my more forgiving irons the mizuno tour spirit MT's. Not as forgiving as the Cally's but then again who wants to lug around shovels in their bags. Definetly more forgiving than the RAC CB's and MR23 Blades (need i comment on this one?) Great on heel mis**ts and didnt notice that much dispersion on off center hits. Lower irons are soooooooo easy to hit :wah: 9/10 Distance: With the jacked up lofts these puppies go far. Anyone will immediatly notice a 5-10 or maybe even 15 yard increase. Had my friend test them out and the same thing happened. So if you want to impress the ladies...pull out your 7 iron and bomb it 200 :surprize: no one will ever know that your lofts are actually lower. 10/10 Feel: Here's what most people want to know...does the teflon change the feel of a club? I took these out with my RAC CB's and Tour Spirit MT irons. Both clubs are forged and having previously played the MR23 Blades I'd have to rank 1)MR23 Blades 2)GD Black 3) RAC CB's strictly based on feel. The teflon has a very muted feel just like Chris described. Almost like a great 3 wood thwack (similiar thwack to the Titleist 970 or Kasco KP-99). But definetly one of the best feeling irons I have ever played. No problems with working the ball... fades, cuts, slices :smile2: all on command 9/10 Setup/Look: Having heard complaints about how large the GD CB's were I wasn't that turned off by the size of these irons when I played them. I'd say larger than the RAC CB's but not ridiculously large that it's an eyesore. Having played the mr23 blades, I had no problem adjusting to the size. Like I said before, maybe the black teflon coating makes the irons look more sleek. The irons do have offset which might turn some potential buyers off but nothing ridiculous. More of a progressive offset so if anything, the lower irons will have close to no offset. As you may know, the GD BLack are some sexy looking irons...definetly confidence inspiring. Add to the fact they are damn forgiving...you've got yourself a serious winner here. 9/10 Ball Flight/Trajectory: Play Rifle PX 6.0 at standard lengths. Nice medium high trajectory. Ball does not balloon or hit to low. This category depends alot on swing mechanics and shaft selection. So i won't divulge too much into this section. I knew i wanted the 6.0's...and the GD irons delivered exactly what I was expecting and wanted. 9/10 Durability: I added this because with everything said and done the teflon is still a coating that will wear. I experienced some minor sole scratches from pounding balls at the range. Most likely because those range mats will kill any finish on your clubs. Not to despair though, went to my local paint shop and got some Krylon paint that adheres to plastic. Just mask up the portions you don't want sprayed on voila...pretty much good as new. Overall...very durable finish...my next test is to cook something on it  8/10 [/img]
