  3. I have been eying them for so long. Also the DGL115s. They have a new one also. But I have been unable to find any real life info on them. Tell me more. What do you love about them? Not liked? Comparison to others you have liked?

  5. How about the UST Mamiya Recoil shaft? I think they are weighted in a style that may be ok for your application. I liked their IS980s shafts. Or the Attas Tour iron shafts that are available in JP. Check with Tario on those. I recall many weight options, etc.

  8. I always wanted to try graphite in the tour heads but didn't like the idea of boring them out and the effects on value etc. Maybe that isn't a good reason but I haven't convinced myself. I don't have your length issue so I am going the spiffy but of the modus with be the ticket.
  9. Chris and Tario have been great to me over the years. We go back to 2006. Passing on to others and giving them a good deal is ok with me. Idrive does this often also. I am sure others do as well.
  10. Just looked up the Roddio and the website says 9.40. I had these in 2007. Nice. Maybe they make taper tip now? There was a rumor that another iron shaft was to be released by them. Quadra makes 9.18 tip iron shafts.   11. I think the Roddio shafts are not taper tip but 9.40. Consider the Ozik Matrix Program shafts. They swing weight on the lighter side so increase in length may work.

  15. Not sure what Yamaha has done however they have been masters at tweaking their designs to alter cg and spin. Maybe they have internal weighting?
  16. I am putting modus 3. Head weight must be high because with the S200 at a 37.5" 5 iron, the swing weight is D2. Normally they have a chart on their website that shows specs when custom built, but I don't see it yet.

  18. The wording on the back makes no difference to me. Performance is what matters and really the only time I study the rear is when I open the box day one and when I see then when taking my bag from the truck of a club from my bag. If I am judging looks, I like the tour model better than non tour. A blade is limited to simple designs however I am confident that Yamaha knows what they are doing. Advertised add a blade with the forgiveness of a cavity back. Sign me up. Feel. Can't imagine. Endo forged, Yamaha design. The lofts will take getting used to. Bring them on. When do they ship?
