  1. Check out the lofts of each. Maybe that had something to do with the distance gaps. The s200 shafts in the Yamaha irons do them so much disservice. I am not sure why they use them as stock.
  2. Don't worry about it. If you can hit then well you won't care.
  3. Still have the NS950s stiff. Have the 7I with a UST Mamiya IS900 graphite stiff. Nice shaft but not ready to change yet.
  4. I finally have put some good weather time on mine. The best yet from Yamaha. So much more forgiving than previous models. My miss is towards the toe. Really no distance loss. When I have some time I will update my original review.
  5. Careful assuming the Wyvern isn't a keeper.
  6. I still have the Basarra JPGA Griffin shaft. It had stood the test of time and quite frankly is as awesome as always. Crazy kick and mid soon. I would expect the Wyvern to be awesome to.
  7. Nice to see Quadra being talked about again. Now if someone would only test the new WD shaft out.
  8. I wonder if they have or are going to upgrade the iron shafts.
  9. Had the Crazy CB1 what's last fall. Nice also. A little high but they were R flex. The UST swing weights well and feels great. Mid trajectory.
  10. Ditto. Testing a UST Mamiya IS900 right now. So far very nice.
  11. Let's see who can hit the combo of Epon Zero with the new Diamana limited shaft.

Can't wait to understand the design behind this.

Look at the Akira M? Series. The 5 wood may work.

Everything is temperature related. Patience and heat gun with a good shaft puller is key.

Discoloration happens when the club is overheated.

Not if it is done correctly. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk
  17. I believe the SFD is cast and the 510 is forged. The SFD is more game improvement.
  18. They are so new probably nobody has received yet. I am a Quadra fan and very interested. A comparison of the Fire Express + Proto + new one would be great.

The Roddio shafts were sensitive to installation. In the past, not sure if this stands true today, the Roddio shafts were required to be installed by an authorized entity. Gocchin could elaborate on this.
  20. RD is the softest shaft profile Crazy makes. No matter what, this shaft is likely not to fit you.
  21. Also trajectory will change slightly.

How do the shafts perform? Modus and GD?
  23. bogeydog replied to Lennie's post in a topic in Buy, Sell, & Trade
    Someone should jump on these.
  24. What had you played this shaft in before?

From personal experience and reviews I have read, most go too stiff. This is a shaft that is best a little soft than a little firm. If anything get one shaft, install it and test.
