Here's a few pics for you Breal and all other interested TSGr's. Unfortunately they don't list any specs for offset on their website. They do get quite detailed on the MOI and center of gravity however.

I have only hit TourStage and Titleist so I wouldn't know about the others in terms of comparison. I must say that I do love my X-blades. They first got me with their looks and then their performance. When flushed they are smooth but I do feel that they do have a little click to them. To me its not distracting. I'm sure the Miura and Epon are most likely softer but couldn't say for sure without hitting them. I'm happy with them right now and won't be interested in another set of irons until Epon brings out a blade model. My next set of blades I want to really get custom with them so most likely will be them or maybe even a set from Scratch. Nothing out there has caught my eye yet.

Here's some features of the black series: -Multi-Material Construction has 1025 carbon steel body and weighted tungsten flange creates a low, deep center of gravity to promote true roll. -Precision Milled Head creates optimal balanced weighting to promote a great feeling stroke and amazing accuracy. -Hogged-Out Hosel removes weight from the hosel and allows it to be redistributed to the tungsten flange, creating a low, deep CG and a truer roll. -Urethane Dampening Layer between the tungsten and carbon steel dampens vibration at impact to produce enhanced feel. They have two blade models and one mallet. Available in 33", 34", 35" and 36". Retails around $250.00. They also have a Black Swirl Series coming out. They are limited edition and the first all-milled putter by Odyssey. Same 1025 Carbon steel, milled-out hosel and tungsten flange. First pic is the Black Series #1, second is the Black Swirl #3.

For those of you who own Fourteen clubs I encourage you to post a review on MyGolfClubReview.com. Most models available in the US are there. Go to TourSpec's homepage and click on the REVIEWS tab.
  5. Oh there was golf today in L.A. . . . And laughs too!! Thanks for the story

Those are some really beautiful clubs. Thanks for sharing. I really like the grinding done on the 60* wedge.
  7. I've had the G-Field ever since early last year and still love the way it rolls the ball!! I have looked at other putters when I wander into an occasional golf shop, stroke a few putts, look at the pics on line, but I'm under the G-Field spell so much by its performance I just have no need for any other putter. A new 3 wood however, that's another story. And another post when as soon as Epon is finished making it for me!!

Chris, you're too good to us!! Prototype for a New Blade was all I needed to hear. Thanks!! Still no Epon smiley flags??
  9. I'm talking more about face angles, lengths of shaft, loft and lies. Also when it comes to their irons very few shaft options. For instance the new X-Blades come in S200 only. Also you can't order any special length or lie angle you want. Sure, TourSpecGolf can do all the custimaztion now, which is great, but what I'm talking about is coming from the factory. Don't get me wrong, I love their product. But having gone through this before when I ordered my current X-blades, I had add length myself and then changed to the shaft I really wanted which was not originally offered by them. This current X-Drive Driver in this post is right up my alley but it only comes in one shaft option and only 1000 were made. Very limited options.

Hey Chris or anyone in the know. Will Epon be bringing out any new iron models in the coming months? Really interested in seeing a blade version come out with zero or almost no offset and an ultra-thin topline. I like the way Epon is very open to customization and their quality from many of us who have experienced their products seems to be unsurpassed.
  11. Chris you mentioned you "wished G-Field kept making their putters in Japan." Where are they making them now? I really like the feel of my Premium Zone and find to hard to imagine that I could get that much more from a Gold's Factory putter. The one thing I don't like is their ability to rust so easily. To me and imo, that's not quality for $1000.
  12. Very nice. However, I feel TourStage is very much like Titleist in that they don't do customization much if at all. Producing such a limited number of drivers like this just doesn't make much sense to me either. If its a great product why not make more to satisfy the customers and why not make their other clubs available with more options to fit their customers. One size fits all doesn't work well in the golf community. I'm very much into my TourStage irons and would love to pick up the new X-Blades for '07 but won't just because I can't get them to my specs w/out dropping too much coin. Beautiful clubs, though.
  13. TourStage. Their logo is simply awesome. Nice to see it on the bag.
  14. Understandably they aren't the best looking. Besides, I should have known you probably already knew about them. I'm sure you have the enitre Proshop catalog memorized!! LOL!!
  15. TourStage has some available, in fact Chris still has them under the accessories section in the Proshop. http://www.tourspecgolf.com/catalog/product-info-536.html
  16. From my experience I would say its trajectory is mid-high. I too would actually love an 8.5 but really the 9.5 is just fine for my game in its current form. The flight I get is not a ballooning flight at all; it gets up and pretty much stays there until its time to come down. A very piercing trajectory. Of course I'm sure the type of shaft and individual swing play into it. For me, this club is awesome in the wind. I've played quite a few rounds of late out near Beaumont, CA and the winds have been blowing 30-50 mph. In fact, if anyone seen the last day at the Bob Hope and those winds the pros played in that day, I had a day just like that not but a month ago. Unreal, balls were just blowing off the green before you could put. The Epon held very strong that day. As for whether to to 9.5 or 10.5 its a matter of personal choice. If you're a fairly good driver of the ball with a fast swing speed go 9.5. With the AxivV you're gonna just love the results. Go 10.5 to build a little forgiveness into the equation if you're tee shots tend to spray a little or if you're swing speed isn't all that fast. Good luck and post a review once you've gotten some time in with it.
  17. Very beautiful craftsmanship. I especially like to look of the one putter image, the one with 01/01 stamped on the hosel and it appears to be some sort of a platinum finish. Best looking putter of the bunch IMO. I noticed this same finish is on some of the other wedges. What is this particular finish? Its simply awesome.
  18. Very nice idrive. How do those Epon wedges compare with your old TourStage X-wedges?
  19. Great pics, thanks ever so much!!
  20. I too am waiting to hear anything on this. I really want to pick up a set but right now I just can't do it. My current X-blades are working just fine and are still less than a year old. Anyone know any more on these or have any pics would be very much appreciated by a few of us TSG'ers!!
  21. All they need now is to come out with a blade version with an ultra-thin topline!!
  22. Since about four or five months ago, I too have gone to two utility clubs. Not because I can't hit a 4 or 3-iron, it as Gocchin says, more options. I have an old TRC 22 degree which I play a lot of shots anywhere from 175-200 depending upon conditions. In fact this club sees a good number of fairway bunker shots. Not to mention, I spin these utilities and when they hit the greens, pretty much stay where they hit. Any time my ball finds rough in that yardage, its either the TRC or G-Field GFT. Very reliable clubs, very strong, piercing trajectories with just the right amount of heighth and can be used from the tee, rough, sand, just about anywhere.
  23. Axiv-V period. For me I have not the want nor need to hit any other shaft or driver for that matter. Its that good!! I really can't make that statement about any other club or clubs I have ever hit. I have the Axiv-V 8076.
  24. Wedges are like Jello, there's always room for more!! LOL
  25. I think it depends on the results you're getting with them right now. If the results are what you were after before making the switch then just adapt to them. If the results aren't there and the feel of the clubs isn't to you're liking then go ahead and make a change. One last thing, going to the 1050's means increasing the weight of the club. I'm thinking you went to the 950 WF to lessen the weight in the longer irons, correct? Just something to consider. Good luck.
