Gauge Design. Just looks better to me.
  2. I would definitely like to see that since I'm almost out of my favorite gloves. The Spider line by FootJoy. Those were the ultimate gloves for me but FootJoy decided they were too "high end" for the most all golf stores in the US. I bought all I could find and I believe I only have a couple left! Does Fit39 make an all black glove?
  3. Hey Chris, I'm definitely good for the cord grips when you get them in. Sweet logo!
  4. Beautiful clubs. Do you ever play those 681's?
  5. Very, very sweet, Gocchin!! Really like the way the pics are layed out.

I haven't had much experience with all the import wedges but I really like my G-Field GFT wedges. Raw face with satin finish is to me the perfect combination. They feel great and perform well.
  7. I thought those might have been yours! I remember you describing them in earlier posts.
  8. Be sure to give them a few rounds and then post a review!! Looking foward to reading about that.
  9. That may be risky. Too many "club ho's" on this site. They'll just tell you to get all 3!! LOL. Come on boys and girls, help him out! Seriously, it is a tough choice, but I will say the Epon is definitely worth a look even for someone who really likes what they are currently using. It is just that good.
  10. You may want to post this in each of the individual fitting sections for Axiv, Diamana, etc but here's my recommendation. Go with an Axiv V-spec either the 7076 or 7080. This will keep you in the 70gm range. Also the V-spec will help with you hooks when you put a bad swing on it. If you don't mind a fade go with the stiffer 7080. Don't waste time with any other shaft. As far as the Epon, you can order any face angle you want. I have 1 degree open and you can get up to 2 degrees. Anything more is a special order, but pm Chris (TourSpecGolfer) for details. As for comparing with the R7, that I'm not sure. See my write-up on the Epon vs. Callaway ERC. Its my opinion nothing can touch the Epon especially with an Axiv-V. Good luck with what you decide to do. There's much already written about the Epon and the above shafts on this site so you should be able to retrieve lots of good info.
  11. I have two TRC's I use from time to time and both are still going strong. However, like anything else, I could see clubs deteriorating over time. With all the abuse a club goes through I'm sure it could develops small cracks at critical areas which would cause performance to suffer.
  12. Taipanli, everyone of those clubs is as beautiful as the bag which holds them. Very nice.
  13. Please if you could post pics and let us know how they compare once you've had a chance to put them in play. I'm very interested in these as well but just not able to pull the trigger on them yet. I'm very curious how the toplines compare between the two. Many thanks.

If you search this site for the Epon 460, you'll find all sorts of feedback, just about all positive. Not too many have hit the new X-drive 460 since it pretty much just came out. Wait a little while longer for some feedback to be posted about the new X-drive. In fact, I would be willing to bet that a new Epon is in the works but I'm sure Chris would know more about that possibility.
  15. Why choose, just get one of each There's nothing wrong with a different bag for each day of the week is there?? LOL, Happy Birthday.
  16. You know, I really tried this shorter and lighter method a few years back and it wrecked my game for a short time. I really bought into it but I just couldn't find good results. Since then, I've gone back to what feels right to me. I went heavier and longer and am much happier for it. I'm 6' 1.5" and my driver is 45.75 inches long with a swingwieght of D5+ and I think it "fits" me to a tee. I mean I do respect all the talk of being well fit but when it comes to driver, because the ball is up on a tee you do have a little leeway in the length of the club. As far as gaining distance by changing the length of the club I don't think its noticable. I do think length of the club matters to one's personal charcteristics which helps on contacting the ball with the sweetspot of the club. I think you start with being fit, but from there go ahead and experiment a little and find what really fits you well. I know that my irons are all one inch over standard but if you fitted my according to the charts I would be standard or even 1/2 inch less. But for me, one inch over just works. What one really has in being fit is static measurements being applied to a dynamic move. When you swing the club, you're in motion and what fit when you were standing still may not fit when it matters and thats the swinging of the club meeting the stationary ball.

Oh I am so envious!! Hey, eat lots of good food for me. Can't wait to see all the pics.
  18. idrive, you are man after my own heart. Much love for those X-blades!! I couldn't make out the woods they aren't the new X-drive fairways are they?? Sweet setup.

New Bridgestone balls, better than the B330? Does it really keep getting better??
  20. Chris how about shafting up a 13.5 degree with a Diamana 83gm white board in x-stiff. . . . and then go ahead and send it my way and I'll test it for you. Yea, that's it I'll test it! Beautiful club. How about throwing in an Axiv-V and giving that a go as well. Now I just need someone to test out the new Epon 13.5 versus the new TourStage 13.5. Hey plus1, you out there?
  21. I like the black TourStage bag all the way Chris. But I too think you should keep the white one and give it to me, not acrazygolfer. :tsg_smiley_laughatyou: Maybe have a lottery?? lol. Seriously Chris very nice bag. I'll echo your sentiments about the G-Field 4 wood. Now that I've logged some decent time with it I'm really enjoying it more and more.
  22. Outstanding pics, Gocchin. Thanks as always!!

Have fun and be sure to eat lots of delicious food. If you like ramen you have try Ippudo. Best Hakata-style ramen in Japan.

Epon driver w/Axiv-V shaft, what a combination!! G-Field Premium Zone #1 both feel and looks, love the black aluinser and how it sets up to the ball!! TourStage X-blades especially on the occasion when I just absolutely pure a shot. WOW!! The other day hit a 7 iron into a green, slightly uphill, back pin and just wham. I hit one of the purest shots in (my) recorded history. Flew the green 15 yards but the feel of such a pure hit I didn't even care!!
