Titleist AP1 Forged
Evidently Titlieist Korea is the only place that offers AP1 in forged. Perhaps its a special concession to Korea (test market?) since the brand is Korean own now.

Re-introducing S-Yard – The Rebirth of a Premium Brand and the T.388 Driver
So the xt was designed by Kobayashi san while he was still at Epon? I think the XT was out at least a year now.

Re-introducing S-Yard – The Rebirth of a Premium Brand and the T.388 Driver
C, I think you should consider a slightly softer and higher launch shaft for your dad. The loft would make some difference but I think the flex and kick point would be the key. I find that i could use a slightly softer flex with this particular driver for my ss and age.

The arriving of the boxes definitely comforting to the our soul but is the keeping of all the empties for eventual re-sales the really drives the wife crazy.

SOLD Ryoma D-1 Premia head only
Both Premia and regular D-1 launch about the same which is higher that the V Spec. The 10.5 launches just fine (mid height) even with a slow swinger like me.

more info on this PLEASE!!!
Just 3000 yen more on msrp than the vokey forged and with the low yen, the price should be more attractive. I want one too but which loft?

Seeking advice of Ryoma F3 shaft
Mark, somehow I have a feeling that you are playing shafts that are too stiff for you. It is always better to err on the soft side, imo, particularly on FW and 3 wood is notoriously difficult to hit off the deck. For cheap, you can consider the GD SF5 R which is not soft by any mean but soft enough to launch the ball.

Had my favourite Hiro Matsumoto MG8 refurbished
The refinish is first rate and putter weight remains the same. The new finish is just so slightly harder or firmer in feel than the original teflon finish.

Had my favourite Hiro Matsumoto MG8 refurbished
I took the putter to the local agent here in HK who is Japanese. My requests were simple, recondition the putter to the new finish, change to a new HM putter grip (choice of original rubber in black or brown leather) and a new HM hc. It took about 5 weeks as it has to go back to Japan and cost me about $200. No milling on the face was done except some light polishing around the edges.

Had my favourite Hiro Matsumoto MG8 refurbished
HM has been one of my favourite brand and I bought this MG8 quite a few years ago. Like the weight of the putter so much (particularly on fast green) that went out and bought another one for use on different continent. Unfortunately the teflon black wore out after a few years of use and the putter looks very tired. Being a cheap guy that I am, I took the putter back to HM for refurbishing instead of using the more expensive services. I had the coating changed to a more durable bronze colour treatment but no grinding or face milling fearing a change of weight which is the key to this putter. Here is the before and after pictures. (Note: The after pictures were taken after 6 games of use after refurbishing.)

suggestions for a player's cb with NO offset
I do remember those adjustable travel irons. As a matter of fact saw them about a month ago of all places, the Proshop at Orange County National in Orlando. Can't imagine they would sell much of those clubs at the place.

Crazy LYI Neo Iron Shafts (4-PW)
Frank, would be interested to hear your assessment of the mci vs other high end graphites. The local Fuji agent claims that mci is longer for him (he would say that wouldnt he although he used to play Roddio I-6.)

Re-introducing S-Yard – The Rebirth of a Premium Brand and the T.388 Driver
My ZR460 was probably one of the last produced and my mistake was actually playing it once in awhile and put it in my visitors' bag. This must be my 4th and last ZR. Now shafted with a Bassara Griffin SR. My ss is 90mph at best and would be interesting to see whether the stock s yard SR would fit me.

Re-introducing S-Yard – The Rebirth of a Premium Brand and the T.388 Driver
My T388 was delivered yesterday after it was sent out on the 1st. Couldn't wait for my next game on Thursday so took it out to the range after dinner. It is 10.5 with stock SR shaft. The head is definitely small compared to some modern drivers. I only took along with my Epon ZR460 for comparison since my 2 Ryoma and the Gloire are all at the club. The face feels harder than my Premia or the D1 but not in such a bad way. the sound is not harsh and definitely not tinny like the Kamui Pro. The SR shaft felt a bit firm in the beginning but seems to loosen up a bit after maybe 15 balls. The flight is strong and mid high without ballooning. For sure need to tee the ball lower due to a shallower face than all the drivers I am using. Since it is just a driving range, I cannot compare distance but i think this driver has very good possibility. If you ever play the old Miura 390cc driver, the S Yard is much in the same vein.
