I am selling this head for a senior doctor friend. The head is in excellent shape since he rotates it with many other drivers. He bought the head new and is the only owner. No sky mark or chip on head except some very small abrasion on the sole from normal use. Head weigh is 196g and comes with original head cover also in excellent condition. Asking for $500 $460 for head only ship via EMS to anywhere in the world. NEW PRICE $685 with Crazy shaft.

I have a very lightly used LY02 6.7 on a TM 1.5* adaptor. The adaptor was put on when I got the shaft new. I find the 6.7 flex is just a bit too stiff for me so I am looking to trade for a same model in 6.2 flex or TJ46 in a 6.2 flex. Shaft should be untipped and play to at least 45.5" or longer. My LY02 measured to a 45" including the adaptor.

Instead of experimenting with new shafts on my Maxima type D, I stick with my tried and true Fire Express 55. Now that I know how this combo works, I just might be tempted to try another shaft if I can find a good deal. Always want to try the Diamana B series in a 50.

Don't know whether the merc or Lexus is better but glad I was in a big Lexus LS460 today. Got in a fender bender on the highway (more like a 8 cars pile up and I am #5) and I was able to drive away under my own steam. Couldnt say that for the three behind me, a BMW 3, a Prosche 911 and MB C class. I think I am going to buy some more clubs now

What is the static weight of the club when you say super light? My type D head weight is 194g and mated to a fire express 55 plus a 50g newon expert grip, the total static weight is 302g which I think is middle of the road since it is playing to 46". My loft is 10.5 and swing weight of D1.5. The flight is higher than my Premia but lower than my Gloire with the same shaft. What is the spec of your maxima driver?

First of all, kudos to Doyle but that's not bad for you too, A with a driver and 52. I would be lucky to reach (down wind) that with my maxima and 9 or even a 8 irons.

I tried the LY02 6.7 (SR) and loss about 10 to 15 yards due to lack of club head speed. Changed back to FE 55R, my distance is back. Had my 3rd game with the maxima/FE combo and starting to like the head. 10.5* is a good launch but not ballooning.

I think quadra SR is definitely closer to crazy 6.4 rather than 5.9.

Okay now that I have two games with the Maxima, I can say something about my own playing experience with it. My 10.5 Maxima D is shafted with a Fire Express 55R at 46" at D1.5 which I have the same shaft on my Gloire and also the Premia. The feel of the face of the Maxima is definitely not Premia or ZR460 soft (a little disappointed in this respect). Actually it reminds me somewhat of my ex-S yard T388 and XT with its distinctive crack sound. It does launch slightly higher than the Premia of same loft and IMO slightly more forgiving. So far I do not see any distance increase yet due to no roll from wet fairway. However, I seem to find more fairway with it so it does build certain confidence playing it. I have yet to be able to bring two drivers on to the course for direct comparison since we play a money game so no fooling around with clubs.

Congrats man and since you are in Hong Kong, perhaps I would get it try it out someday. I doubt I would be able to pay your flex though.
