Taylormade Japan 2014 Lineup - Gloire, SLDR 430 TP etc!
I am a little confused by the Gloire line up. The new driver as seen here is a separate and cheaper (by 20K yen) than the Reserve with the same 70 layer urethane face. I assume this driver is to replace the Ti face 1st generation but not the Reserve which is still on the lineup. If it is effectively the same tech, why would anyone pay the premium and get the Reserve?

You are exactly right with the stock set up and definitely would benefit most senior golfers. The head and shaft combo is higher launch but no whipper than other JDM stock shaft. On my 10.5*, I would set the loft at -1.5 and at the same time, put in a FE which is lower launch than stock and heavier.

Taylormade Japan 2014 Lineup - Gloire, SLDR 430 TP etc!
Its funny, I rank my 1st generation Gloire up there with Ryoma Premia or even my Maxima both in feel and distance yet it is not a high demand or popular driver here at TSG.

I pronounce it Glory.

Wow your pictures are better than their official ones on the TM site. I don't have the Reserve but do love the original Gloire. Perhaps skipping a year wasn't such a bad idea.

Lisong's 1st Edition Seven Putter - Tuned by Gold's Factory
Is the face a separate plate attached to the head of the putter? How thick would be insert/ plate be? I would be interested to find out the playing length and weight of the putter.

crazy black "tour " by labomba..
Isn't La Bomba just a color scheme on the shaft?

Official TRPX Drivers and Shafts Review Thread
So head weight wouldn't be a problem so it is either shaft related or just spin characteristic of the head. My directional control is better with the D than the S but then again different shafts.

Sold-Thanks TSG -Mint TRPX D013 10.5* Head only
Square face angle.

Sold-Thanks TSG -Mint TRPX D013 10.5* Head only
The head is on hold for a member until noon Asia time but I am free to answer question. I am not looking for trade at this time unless you have a similarly mint Gloire Reserve or the new Gloire Distance. The Crazy LY02 was brand spanking new when I installed in the new trpx head 10 days ago. I would consider letting go the whole club for $800 if head is not taken up by this member. Howver I do have a very good condition Attas 4u 5S for this head for an additional $120 if the hold is released.

Sold-Thanks TSG -Mint TRPX D013 10.5* Head only
I am listing this mint 10.5* head for $480 PayPal gift shipped EMS anywhere. I have played exactly 2 rounds with the head which I bought new. The head is 199/200g. At this point, it is shafted with Crazy LY02 6.4 and I would like to keep the shaft (unless it is an offer that I cannot refuse). Head would be taken off only when I have a firm sale. No sky mark, chip or any sort of mark on crown and face with only very slight brush mark on sole. Thanks for looking.

T, save a 5.9 for me just in case something happens to the La Bamba. :-)

Epon I-33 : Why did I wait so long?
I actually think heavier head or putter is good for fast green (at least for me). My hand/arms tend to be less jerky and a smoother stroke. I find a steadier stroke with a heavy putter gives better control on slick green.

Damn This Putter Addiction!!!!!
Well, I don't feel bad at all now knowing others are way worse than me with this illness.

UPDATED April 1st: The future of Crazy
Well, I bought a ly01 6.4 pull locally that's also a member here. The tip was taped up like as most fitter would do when they pull out a shaft. Found a hairline crack in the tip later by my own fitter when I took the shaft for installing for a friend. I am fairly certain that the seller did not know about the hairline as he rely on the fitter to pull the shaft, a fitter that I also know. Decided it's just one of those unfortunately things when you buy a pull and not bother to claim as I am sure he is also unaware. It's really not a tremendously amount of money. The shaft could hold up in theory as long as I dont tee off from the tip of a cliff or ocean and see your expensive driver head disappears into the abyss.

I think 365 g head is the perfect weight for me at 34". I have set my David Whitlam and Odyssey 2 Ball blade all at 365g head weight.

Sound of the TRPX head - how to mute it
Yes, feel and sound is all relative and personal I guess. While the TRPX might not be the best sound for me, it is still better than Kamui IMO.

Sound of the TRPX head - how to mute it
Thanks for all the inputs and I would probably leave it for the time being and learn to live with the sound if the driver performs. If it doesn't perform, it wouldn't matter what it sounds like.
