  1. Jet speed is a adjustable Ut like the Gloire and SLDR? Doesn't look like one.
  2. Wow, looks so……..difficult!
  3. I can concur that the stock form Gloire is great for senior. I gave my 1st generation stock R to my brother who is in his early 70s ans he couldn't be happier. Gain back at least 15 yards from his pervious miura precious. The forgiveness of the head is the selling point of the club. Off centre hit is not as punishing as other drivers.
  4. Looking forward to your review with the hawk. I have a Griffin and a Crazy LY02 6.2 that could go into a Gloire head. I can play shorter with a heavier shaft than stock.
  5. If my wife ever finds out that I play golf with someone like that, it would be the end of my golfing life or just life period. : ( thanks for the eye candy as usual. Sorry T for being off track with my post.
  6. Aka, who is this girl on your avatar? My score would be sky high if I ever play a round with her.

What flex is F3 on the proto? I only see F4 and F5 on the UST site.
  8. You would probably be freezing your butt off in Denver next week.
  9. Your Red Mountain (IMO) beats most of the golf courses in the BKK area.
  10. I borrowed my friend's type R with AD65 and played a game at Sedona Golf Resort in Sedona, Arizona last Friday. The irons were constantly one club longer on all my approach. Then it dawn on me that I was playing at over 4000 ft above sea level. The type R is quite forgiving but no more than my VG3 but in a slightly smaller package. However, it is a very nice club in set up and feel.
  11. The stock adaptor is for 1.5* adjustment. Some Taylormade drivers are 1*. I was able to use 1.5* R11 adaptor on my 1st generation Gloire. Have not yet try it on this new generation but would have a chance in the next few days in Scottsdale.
  12. Besides loft adjustment, it does have flater, standard or more upright lie. I do not think it has close or open face angle adjustment setting. The 10.5 is closed face.
  13. T Could you confirm that the gold adopter for the new Gloire is still the same as the old Gloire .
  14. That's what in thought when you are guys are talking about changing weight. The head is light ( I measure my friend new Distance) but don't known how much weight the adopter would contribute to the overall head weight. Besides really good feel of the impact, the R with its 46.5 has not given me very goof result on a short range session and few hit on course. However, this driver has possibility with the right shaft. For those interested in cpm, it's 208 for the stock R at 46.5".
  15. It is much safer in Feb even for Florida. I was there in mid Jan for 4 days and only had one warm day. Even had frost delay at Orange County for 2 hours. But I am going to Scottsdales and Sedona this Thursday for 4 days and three games. Besides LV, this would be my really first desert golf.
  16. Tour AD are old tech in the JDM world and for a bit more money, you should try MC! 60 or 70g. I am happy with my Roddio I-6 so not taking any chance with the MCI at the moment. If I am building a brand new set, it would definitely my choice.
  17. The Red bag is too loud, R-S.
  18. T, does the new Type R looks anything like the Epon EMS?

I have 2 sets of Mizuno T Zoid pro irons, one steel shaft and one graphite. The steel has been reshafted from DG R200 to Shimada K'3001 a few years back and kept them for guests to play. Left my LE graphite set in Canada but thinking about bringing them back to HK now. I recall reading somewhere that the original JDM T Zoid used very soft carbon steel. It is not 1025 or even 1020C but lower. I cannot find where I read it now and would be grateful if some of you Mizuno aficionado could enlighten me and satisfy my urge to find this info. Much thanks in advance. Not sure I can still play them now but recall they were like hot knife thru butter if hit pure.

I do find posting a reply is more troublesome. Instead of hitting the red icon "Post" (somehow no response on my laptop), I have to hit 'More Reply Options" then "Add reply."
  23. Can I get behind Shanko on the buttonback?
  24. C, are you back from the future? ^_^
