Hi A, Taylormade SLDR has a 17* UT. You can get the Japanese spec model and tell yourself that its still JDM.

The only one I have not play is Tucker's Point. Besides the name, I personally think Port Royal is twice as interesting/ scenic as Mid Ocean at half the price. I just love ocean side courses and Port Royal is way up there with Kiawah Island.

Why do you need others to order the club for you? If you have credit card and shipping address, its simply a 1-2-3 step. All you need is to get an account with TSG which is a few click away.

Are you sure about this A? It's still a great head. Just reshafted mine with a LY01 and it's just as long as my maxima.

Like my Gloire so much that I bought two. My brother borrowed it once and found he gains about 20 yards from his Miura so now, the gloire is his. Steveo, you have the regular Gloire or the Reserve? Besides launches a bit high, the driver is increditablely forgiving and good feel.

Somehow I have always associate gold color JDM drivesr with Hi Cor. I listed this Romaro Gold 455LX for a friend last year here for sale as Non Conforming. It didnt sell and gave it back to him. All of a sudden a few days ago at the club, he gave me this head as he said he has no use for it and a token to thank me for selling his Romaro Ray irons last year here. Did some more research into the 455LX Gold and found that it might actually be conforming. Not exactly sure the difference between gold version vs the normal 455LX (besides color) but now I would have to find a suitable shaft to test it out. Anyone has experience with this Gold version?

Should I say, half and half? A 17* UT is not exactly the easiest club in the bag so still trying to be consistent only after one game. Most of the time, I would be using the 20 and 23* I-brid.

I * is probably not worth the trouble/risk. If you need it to go a few yards further, just play to a longer length maybe or a lower launching shaft. Perhaps you should have kept the 17* I-brid.

You should have put the RF551 here as my friend was looking for a set. They dont exactly grow on tree even at TSG. Let me know if you get it back and see whether we can do a deal. I wouldn't cancel my paypal on you.

How do you compare this to the Maxima in terms of forgiveness?

You actually go out and buy a sf shaft for this experiment or just happen to have a spare to fool around?

My ss is at best 88mph or just under 40ms and I would give anything to consistent hit 230 total with roll. On a good day, 88mph would probably get me 210 to 220. One of my best drive this year during the winter months on a firm fairway was 240y measured with a GPS. I was not able duplicate that again since.

You are very much spot on with your comment. Getting good deal and nice boutique brands require patient and a lot of luck. Festival golf ( probably others) does have a website that lists what are available but it's all in Japanese hence finding things is a bit of a challenge.
