  1. Put in on the inside (your side) towards the heel.
  2. No difference. This is done all the time.

Hi Dwayne: Sounds like you guessed it. It has been tipped too much. Maybe they had it in a .350 hosel or just cut it when it was pulled.
  4. I don't agree about Plaza having a big selection. They actually do not have much Scotty Tour stuff. A few pieces in cases but that's about it. Maybe I went in there expecting more, but they aren't the awesome dealer that I was hoping for. The store is pretty much retail USA all the way. Unfortunately.
  5. The Comps are square. Well, I should say, every L460 Comp I have seen is square. I wouldn't risk bending or boring .. Try a lower Torque shaft.
  6. Scotty Platinum Handstamp Newport 33 inches at 350 grams. Not stamped with my name or anything, but it's a handstamp.
  7. I think you might help yourself out if you put a price on them.

L460 Comps are square. Set one up with a great shaft and it's a killer. Super forgiving too.
  9. I think you are right shoe. I can't figure out why they don't think the market will support more of their line in the U.S.
  10. Chris, I think they need to foster more support through the Internet channels too. I'm not sure if they realize exactly how much a guy like Joe Kwok, for example, really advances their cause in the United States and throughout the world through his efforts. It's not only results in direct sales, but enhances the entire channel. I'm not sure they get that. Joe K. is one of the most respected and talented clubmakers in the United States. He's like E.F. Hutton  ... When Joe says something positive about Fujikura, the world listens! Fujikura has a big edge on Graphite Design, but they don't seem to take advantage of it. They need to use guys like Joe Kwok to show the incredible depth and selection that they have. No other shaft maker can touch that. Joe has vast knowledge about ALL of their shafts and is also a Master clubbuilder. When Joe talks about fitting the golfer to their characteristics it's important to Fujikura because they have a shaft for everyone. Unfortunately, the typical Joe Blow golfer in the U.S. doesn't know about that. Joe K. does his part through 3 or 4 forums that I know about, to educate the masses so they don't think a Speeder means a 757. Fujikura needs to attack the market using guys like Joe to compete. They don't understand the effect that he and a very few others like him have through the web.

It's legal. A note about reshafting - If you want to end up with a steel shaft buy a head with steel from Mizuno. Same with graphite. If you want to end up reshafting with graphite buy a graphite one from Mizuno. I'm almost positive that the heads are weighted differently depending on the shafts.

I've had a few different driving irons. I just prefer the mini woods rather than the bulkier irons. Just a personal thing I guess. I hit the Hybrid's better. They are longer than the 3 iron that I pulled out for this. More versatile for me. Easier to hit.

Ah Sorry, I misunderstood, I don't care for driving irons. I prefer the Hybrid Woods. I posted the entire review and photos in the review section here. Here's a few photos of the UX2 I have...

I'm pretty sure they are all called the MPUX2, but just with different lofts. Mine is called the MPUX2 but it has a 3 on it and 20*. I haven't tried the other lofts though.

I just got mine today (#3 20* w/ NS 950) and took it out to the range to try it out. I have the 20* CLK that I had reshafted with the Rifle Hybrid shaft so I can compare. These are finished nicer than the CLK's and looking over the club, I noticed that the UX head is slightly smaller to my eye than the CLK. Also, the CLK has no tungsten insert. The main difference is that while the CLK is easy to hit, the UX2 is much easier to hit and out of the grass it's even better. It glides through the turf better than the CLK. The club is about 5 yards longer than the CLK for me, but it's probably due to the light shaft although the face is a little hotter. I'm able to swing the Nippon Steel 950 shaft a little faster and it has aproximately the same trajectory as the Rifle. Drop, bounce once and stop. Great club. I'm very happy with it.
  16. Interesting. They are probably too hard to do business with. Still diggin the 553 though.
  17. My vote goes to fredmcfl. The variance in colors gives me flashbacks from my hippy days! :surprize:

Nice Bag! I like that 3 Wood.
  19. Congrats Chainsaw!! That's an awesome prize!
  20. You can get those from the Catalog Dept. here or just PM Chris... the owner of this site... Tourspecgolfer
  21. The 661 is lighter, higher launch and a little more "brittle" feeling than the 757. Very good shaft for the swinger that isn't real aggressive in loading the shaft.
  22. Great photos Joe!
  23. I agree with this. The Comp is super easy to hit w/ a square face. It's possible your friend had one with too soft a shaft. Drivers are personal IMHO, but I never really cared for any TM's. I want super easy and long. Joe Kwok's magic really added a tremendous amount to this club for me. The shaft and the work that he did on the Comp when he installed the shaft really made this club super special.

I've been playing them for about 6 months now. Very solid. Very long. With the right shaft they are tough to beat. They are the best FW's I've ever played and I've been ho'ing for quite a while now. They have stayed in the bag. They are pretty forgiving too and are good off the deck. They kicked out the 200 Steel's I was using for a long time.
  25. Hate to tell you this, but you should put the NS's in your Z's. The S300's are heavier while the Nippon's are light. Slows down your swing... The Z's are as long as it gets, but the wrong shaft will screw you up.
