EPON High Repulsion - EHR Driver
As you posted, TM has always had higher than stated lofts and people don't realize they are hitting higher lofts. So when Epon creates drivers with real actual lofts they seem high when in actual fact they are not. People don't realize in most cases they need more carry, and if a driver can keep spin down and add run its a great bonus.

EPON High Repulsion - EHR Driver
There is a reason why it is 13* and it is to get the proper launch to work hand in hand with the CG placement. It is like he Epon Zero made for faster swingers, everyone said why 10.5* and such a high loft? Same thing here, 13* is to get the right launch and the CG is actually shorter. Meaning a 11* driver with deeper and lower CG could hit it much higher than this 13*.

EPON High Repulsion - EHR Driver
Yes but it also means Noun 1. repulsion - the force by which bodies repel one another repulsive force force - (physics) the influence that produces a change in a physical quantity; "force equals mass times acceleration" attraction, attractive force - the force by which one object attracts another 2. repulsion - intense aversion repugnance, revulsion, horror disgust - strong feelings of dislike 3. repulsion - the act of repulsing or repelling an attack; a successful defensive stand standoff stand - a defensive effort; "the army made a final stand at the Rhone" repulsion is a noun used commonly by Japanese manufacturers when discussing the spring effect of a club face.

EPON High Repulsion - EHR Driver
You say nowt but thats because you are not its target audience. Well the rich senior market is hot here in Japan as witnessed by Ryoma, Honma, Majesty, and the premium lines every brand comes out with ie Yamaha Classic, Tourstage ViQ premium. XXIO Prime etc. Epon is probably going to do well with the EHR.

EPON High Repulsion - EHR Driver
We're in for some exciting months from Epon. A huge bag of demo clubs arrived today and I started taking pictures of the new EHR driver which I will blog about tomorrow. Here is one of the pictures I took with some of the key specs. (more pics to follow after I do my blog) You can ask me any questions you want about the EHR as I have already been briefed by Epon but I will not comment specifically on other future releases as I can only talk about them when Epon gives me the green light for each.

New 2012 ONOFF Labospec Clubs
R, RB247-F are Labospec so they come with any ONOFF shaft including the MP512i, Roddio I6 8 10, all Labospec steel, Nippon and DG. Of course that their standard line while this is Labospec. The ONOFF Forged will be replaced with a new model in October. Its officially available now by special order only. These are NOT supposed to be available outside of Japan but I'm working with Globeride to get these like we did the W358. Dude I just woke up! Its morning here in Japan! As far as I know the shaft will rotate but I will know for sure when I get the demo.

New 2012 ONOFF Labospec Clubs
ONOFF Labospec is the custom clubs and tour division of ONOFF and every once in a while they come out with a few special editions and tour models that are usually pretty awesome like the old MB247 and CB247 as well as this years W358 Shingo Wedge. They have announced their new ONOFF Labospec 420 driver and yes its fully adjustable for Loft 1* either way (standard is 9.5*), Lie from 59* to 57*, face angle from closed to open. Plus you can adjust the weighting using 3 5 and 7 g weights for draw, neutral and fade. All this in a pear shaped deep face 420cc head! They have also announced a new RB247-F cavity back and CB247W Forged Wedge! I've already requested demos which I hope I can get as Labospec typically does not have demos. In the meantime check out the driver!

New Epon Driver
Hmmm it does not appear as if it is limited anymore. Originally when they first released it, it was dubbed as limited and even close to being sold out but it no longer says that on the specs. I guess its more popular than I thought.
-
New Epon Driver
Actually this isn't usually the case. Only recently for Epon. The Zero, Personal and Zen are the first time I have seen more than one limited model from Epon in a year. (some years none). But its certainly a ploy used by many brands to create demand and raise prices.
