This is very rare for major manufacturers but they have been delayed a bit due to production being backed up. We are looking at August some time and custom orders to follow after the intial launch.

For a 28 handicap the XXIO 7 is the best choice along with the ONOFF Red and D-Forged from Yamaha. Honestly the ONOFF Red and XXIO 7 are very close to feeling forged because they utilize either thin faced Ti or maraging steel which provide a lot of pop. I reviewed the Red here: http://www.golftoimpress.com/onoff-2012-iron-review/ If it were me I would not hesitate to game any of the three I mentioned above. they will make golf easier, more enjoyable and you will improve faster. Easy to swing, easy to play and tons of performance. The egg forged has very little offset and the face area is quite small. They are also built considerably heavier. They are actually targeted not at the higher handicapper but mid handicapper. The egg iron is meant for the higher handicapper but the looks take a lot of getting used to.

That is correct, the AF-Tour has more offset but to the naked eye its probably not noticeable as its a difference of .1mm. (ie 2.9mm of offset in the Personal 5i and 3.0mm in the AF-Tour 5i down to 1.9mm in the Personal PW and 2.0mm in the AF-Tour PW) Offset specs aside, the visual design of any iron can influence how the eye perceives offset. I think the fact that the AF-Tour is longer from heel to toe may give the appearance of less offset though it technically has more than the Personal/

Yes the LY-02 unlike most Crazy shafts which are anti left is in fact anti right. Its the best shaft for the slicer wanting more distance.

Actually you should also consider the Modus3, many say it plays soft but a lot of that has to do with its feel. More feel can be perceived by many as being soft. It has very good distance and is around 1150 weight and best of all it feels great.

LY01 Hot is the highest launching Crazy shaft. But it's closer to 60g.

It is definitely small. The length of the face area is barely wider than a ball.

It is super compact, much smaller than the AF-tour but has forgiving aspects. A chunky muscle is fine as it means purer feel but the sole and top line are thin. Blog will be up tonight with lots of pics.

The lighting in this shot I just took really shows how thick the blade, and it does look like a blade as in sword, portion of the muscle is. The more I look at it the more I like it.

Beautiful iron. Really is like a work of art. I would not say there is a lot of offset, it is still very minimal, but its definitely a much smaller head than the AF-Tour. I will post my impressions in the blog today and it will be in the pro shop but as always you must contact us to order Epon. I just finished taking pictures so here is a preliminary shot. (^_^)

The fiamma certainly has feel and kick... any soft shaft will. Problem is its too soft the way its stiffness is distributed.

Thats right but its not specifically a softer tip but designed to have a more active tip and middle section.
