  1. Prototypes at the show... not yet but soon!
  2. Costs vary depending on many factors. I am creating a custom mizuno page but so far have only scanned the finishes you see above. Will be ready soon.
  3. Besides shape and design that everyone mentioned above, its target audiences are different. The AF102 is for the better player, a more low spin, stable and strong launch while the AF152 is aimed at a wider range of golfers wanting more forgiveness and more launch. The 152 is designed as a lighter head for longer length clubs around 46" and the AF102 heavier for shorter around 45" The 152 is actually 0.5* closed though it does have an HT model which is 13* and 1.0* closed. The AF102 is 0* square face but the 10.5* is also 0.5* closed. Of course weight and face angle is customizable through Epon as always.

The Crazy FW head is considered mid sized but sets up very compact as the face is VERY deep and quite pear shaped. So deep that this is more recommended for the better player that does not have issues launching the ball off the deck. Solid feel and quite workable. It suits a hard hitter and fast swinger wanting a stable FW that can be worked and used both of the deck and tee. I snapped these shots on Saturday at CF, it is a demo so its a bit beat up. (^_^)
  5. We can get the phiten too if anyone wants.
  6. I don't know about 47 colors. No grip company offers any of their grips in 47 colors. Not even Iomic. The Image of the X-Line Cord you posted shows 5 colors the same 5 colors we carry. The standard rubber model you posted shows 8 colors the same 8 we carry. Both models definitely have Sky Blue, though it was not checked off in the pro shop (it is now).
  7. Since all Epon clubs are built specifically for each customer., they always include a spec sheet with a record of those specs. In C's case above it was (hope you don't mind me saying C). Epon Zero 10.5* Crazy Black 50 7.4 - flex closer to 7.2 Iomic Sticky 1.8 Black/Yellow Cap Round 45.25" D1.5 Epon AF202 HT Crazy Black FW80 7.4 Iomic Sticky 1.8 Black/Yellow Cap Round 43.00" D2 They also note things like the face angle and of course for Epon all specs are real specs.
  8. Wedges can be very personal. shape and size of the head, grind. finish, amount of offset, what do you like? The Vokey forged is very good and probably the most popular wedge right now. The DB Forged were fantastic. Yururi is always up there in performance. The new Romaro Ray SX which I have seen and tried at the golf fair but don't have a demo as its not released yet is something I plan on checking out thoroughly as I love its looks and design. The Fourteen RM-11 is also very good. Every year wedges are probably the hardest clubs to choose as there are always so many good ones! T
  9. Thanks for the great review of the driver and of me!! Just swing away with that club, the TJ-80 is a beast and can handle quite a lot. It's always a pleasure fitting Crazy clubs as they work so well. I am very happy it worked out for you both the club and taxes! I was at the Crazy Factory all day today and spent a couple of hours with Clive from Australia as well in a fitting session. I urge any of you who come to Japan to spend some time at Crazy, its lots of fun and we get to find your shaft. Yup, next time you too!
  10. I guess for blades those are strong... the egg forged cavity back PW is 40*!!
  11. I'm supposed to be getting demos in for the new egg. I did review the first model on the blog and I wonder how much they can change the new model. We shall see. I preferred the VG3 over the egg forged.

Kyoei forged yes for the MB. Air iron differences are the Dot Two has a milled face and carbon back face. The Dot One is just a regular sand blasted face and silver insert.
  13. Steve glad you got them reasonably quickly, how are the shafts? Good match? Is the ball flight what you were looking for?
  14. Black and Gold, conforming and non conforming Hi COR. I loved them.... Ryoma look out. Full Report: http://www.golftoimpress.com/romaro-ray-460hx-drivers-the-new-challenger/
  15. Haha what I should have asked is did you smell the grips? (^_^)
  16. Don't forget as I mentioned the cobra S3 Pros are neo JDM, they were forged at Endo!
  17. I gamed the VG3 for a year, then the ONOFF Forged from the summer up to now. Both equally forgiving, ONOFF better feeling and surprisingly no less in distance.. My iron before the VG3 was in fact the standard V Forged model albeit a couple of genrations ago. It is surprisingly forgivng considering its audience but I would say the VG3 and ONOFF are more so. The D-Forged Chris recommended, I liked a lot. It easily out distanced any of the models mentioned here and is easily the most forgiving of the bunch, perhaps one of the most if not the most forigving forged CB out there. One customer just got a set to replace is Epon AF-702, he emailed me and said the D-Forged were superior in performance over the AF-702. My only draw back with the D-Forged is some may consider it a bit chunky as the cavity is quite large and wide. While I don't mind the AF-502 design, I didn't like the feel so much but thats a personal thing. I also found it had more offset than both the VG3 and ONOFF.
  18. J has them with the 950GH Stiff. I forgot to ask what you think of the Romaro grips? I'm very glad you liked them and working with you on getting them was a breeze as well.
  19. Geotech does have their own R&D team, which is what makes them special for such a tiny company. They have averall been manufacturing irons and metal woods for 20 years. The irons are much more forgiving than expected as I noted in the review. Geotech says the target range is 0-25 handi and I can see why because the iron provides a bit of everything. Its not tiny but has a thin sole and topline and only a small amount of offset. It's really the muscle/cavity that is meaty but that brings CG down and outwards for more forgiveness and an easy launch.
  20. In most cases they don't use as high end carbon as Crazy or Quadra, buy their finish which they dub real silver plating is rather high end which accounts for a lot of the cost. Time will tell how good they are but there are many of us trying them now. @ Rice, every model is in the pros shop and you can find all the details and specs there. They do have a website though, just search basileus shafts
  21. Yeah we both call each other T. Then Chris starts calling us both T and we wonder which of us he is referring to. (^_^)
  22. I tested the line, and it falls within the SFD models which are aimed at the more average golfer. I much prefer the TRC, 505 and 305 models. The utility review is here from last year... http://www.golftoimpress.com/royal-collection-sfd-black-utility-review/
  23. We are very happy to have Tats as part of the team. Great guy, and AWESOME golfer. Waiting for you go get back to Japan so we can go for another round!
  24. It's hard to vote for some of the models that are very new or the ones that are not even out yet. It also depends on the best CB for who. For the better player I'd say the Yamaha Tour. For the medium capper and improving player the ONOFF Forged. And for the average golfer the D Forged or the original VG3 Forged for those who want something smaller.
  25. Awesome to hear Michael! I'm glad could fuel your new JDM obsession! Next is the driver which you should have any day now!
