  1. Played in hurricane force winds today. Made the winds at Kapalua seem tame..... The wind had no where near the effect on my ball as everyone else. I am more impressed with each round. I post here and there about liking a driver for what ever reason but rarely that it is head and shoulders better than the rest. This is (for me) the best driver I've ever played. Has officially taken over the #1 spot. Look out BST.....couple of really good drivers coming your way.
  2. Boy am I confused. Tousrpecgolf as in this site?? back to the OP, has he had it to a club builder and had it measured and confirmed the head is closed or is this just his opinion?
  3. Being a HUGE Ryoma fan, I can officially say (for me) the T.388 is longer. Just finished my third round and while I do have to admit it did take me a couple of rounds to dial in, I'm simply longer with the T.388. For me, it's not the carry, It's the extra 10 yards of roll out, never experienced anything like it.
  4. So you guys know, there is a problem with the copper 302's.......... They look so amazing you're going to want to just sit and look at them instead of play them. Enjoy your new sticks.
  5. Modus 3 ^^ Have a set of Monaco;s I've been thinking about about putting in but they're working so well I haven't got around to it. i had modus 3 in the Personals and replaced with the monaco;s and they are so much better it;s amazing.
  6. Love the Personals but they are in bag #2. The Tours have taken over the top spot. IMO this is by far the best Tour Irons Yamaha has released. Just ended up with two sets... Someone that missed out will be very happy.
  7. Long story short, I have two sets. The other set is in my bag 4-PW Upgraded Modus 3 Shafts - Stiff flex They could pass as new Pro shop sold the 5-PW (S200's) for $1,499.00 + $240 for the 4 iron = $1,739.00 + shipping http://www.tourspecg...roducts_id=4638 SOLD THANKS
  8. probably as simple as I hit hybrids better and FW's even better still. Also, I can't hit them off the ground and they are not long enough off of the tee to do me any good. Too many other clubs I can put in the bag and make better use of. Mental at this point?? Probably
  9. I'm done with driving irons.....

Can't say what I think but these two suggestions are a good start...
  11. Great review. Nothing there I can disagree with. Played my second round today with mine today. Thank goodness I opted for the 10.5. Low screaming bullets that run and run. Almost every other driver I play is a 9.5. Have to admit I am working to get it to launch just a bit higher. Might, might have to put a different shaft in it to accomplish that but the club absolutely performs.
  12. This ^^ I can't imagine playing a 9.5 without a ultra high launch shaft, 120mph SS and be a natural high launch player.
  13. Surprised no one mentioned the EV series. I could hardly launch the ball with that shaft.
  14. I had a shaft delivered a few years back.that looked like that. After the claim was filed and a month went by usps said they do not cover golf shafts. Good Luck
  15. I think this is the first wedge I'm going to carefully let rust after it's cleaned up from soaking in paint remover. Not sure why but wasn't all that excited over this wedge when first posted but for some reason I can't wait to get it now. Maybe it was the 30 mph winds I played in today that blew the high wedge shots into the next county..... would really like to see a 46 or 48*.
  16. I have to admit that I won't hit a set of irons until the lie angle had been adjusted to my specs. For me, it makes all the difference in the world.
  17. Finally, someone that makes sense to me.... thanks for making my day. However in the tittle mentioning understanding Stew... I thought it was going to be about the way he types.
  18. My apologies as they are gone
  19. The shaft that suits YOU best is the shaft to use.
  20. Gentleman: Heads only -- shafts are sold
  21. Okay, will have the clubs home tomorrow. Can pull the shafts and sell heads and shafts separately Shafts w/grips, 350 Shipped Heads - $800 Shipped
  22. Are you happy with the refinish?

Nice looking set up!! For me, Iomics rule. I played the Golf Pride New Decade Multi compound grips for a couple of years and was surprised how fast they would wear out. Not the Iomics. They wear like iron. Best part is if they seem to be getting a bit slick all you do is wipe them down with a warm rag and the tackiness is back, they feel like new again. I don't wear a glove, ever. Have tried several others over the last couple of years but am officially done looking now.
  24. Curious to hear how it performs. But to answer your question.... no, not really acceptable.
  25. Just too high of a swing speed (in my world) or this would be a moot point. Wonder if anyone might be interested in the shaft..........
