  1. I've had my 3 & 5 wood and 3 utility for about a week now. Have hit at least 30-40 shots with each. I wouldn't have thought to check the weights until reading this. All solidly intact. These clubs perform so well, are so easy to hit and work.. it's obvious why everyone wants to keep them rather than return for a refund.
  2. I have played about 8 rounds with the Epon 460. This Driver is LONG, and amazingly FORGIVING!!! You can have both. I haven't hit them all... but I've hit alot of drivers. this one's a keeper.
  3. the lower the # the lower the offset/face progression?
  4. Would love to have an Epon bag....
  5. I've Putt with so many Putters I can't count that high... I've been Putting with a very custom Scotty SSS Tour Newport Beach. I really didn't think it would ever leave the bag. I'm now Putting with the Premium Zone "0" Simply rolls the ball better. Feels Excellent.
  6. I always go with the 9.5 I hit the ball high and like to keep it down. The 9.5 has been perfect. I would even consider a 8.5 if they made one. You will love the Driver, shaft combo. Good Luck
  7. I got tired of slightly toey shots not landing on the Green. I'm also swinging a little slower, more tempo oriented. The CB's have maintained and even added a bit of distance. My slightly toey shot landed on the green today.
  8. Much more "manageable." Seem to have a bit more spin control with the different swing speeds, especially the full shots. A full shot with the Maru's and the ball.. what was left of it, would spin off the green if it wasn't made of cement. Perfect the US Open coming up. Now all I have to do is qualify!!!
  9. The Epons are taking over... Latest bag pics.
  10. If I was flushing the ball everytime the J irons would be in the bag. But, the S irons forgiveness on a toey mis-hit put a smile on my face. Nobody else knew it wasn't flushed. I don't notice any click (maybe the ball?) at all. I've even looked down a few times to see if I'd really hit the ball it was so Butta. Compared side by side were Epon S irons Miura CB 1006 iron toustage CB2 irons tourstage x-blade2 I didn't believe they could be so much better. This is why I ask.. how do they recommend their Irons? Personal taste? Handicap? I noticed the prices just went up... I think we better quit bragging about them.
  11. I have the 9.5* Epon 460 w/Axiv V 7072 (S) The combination is fantastic. The consistancy and feel are unmatched. I was hitting a Tourstage 405HR for a few rounds. That's the non-conforming Driver that hits it well past the conforming head version. This driver and shaft combo has the distance right up with the 405HR. But with much, and I mean much more accuracy and consistancy.
  12. I have played two rounds with the S's. I really didn't think the CB1006's would be chased out of the bag... but they are sitting now. I even played a game with the Miura's in between rounds with the Epons. The Epons are the most solid, best feeling Irons I have ever hit. Even miss hits are solid. The clubs do seem to be very forgiving. Can still draw the ball but much harder to fade. The ball just wants to go straight. I'm in Love with them.
  13. Are the J irons considered a Cavity Back or Blade? I know the Type S Irons are a Cavity Back and the X irons are larger Cavity Backs, but I thought the J Irons were considered a Blade. Do you pick out the right EPON irons for you by your handicap? Do the J and S Perform the same? I wish I could read Japanese.
  14. Are you serious?? That's like putting my name on them Paypal sent!
  15. F/S Toustage X-Blades. S200 Shafts Tourstage Grips Only used a few rounds. Only the 8 iron was hit at the range once. Covers always kept on, the clubs look new. $800 inc. shipping in U.S. anywhere else please check with me. This is me on e-bay (as required) http://myworld.ebay.com/golfer84770 I have more pictures if needed.
  16. I just put my new Epon 460 9.5* Axiv in play today. It was cold. The wind was blowing. Not a fair day to take a new Driver out and get to know!! Turned out to be a great day. After only a few holes the Club was dialed and performed fantastic. Forgiving, LONG, just felt great. And that was in the cold.. hands were cold... Easy to recommend. We'll have a Toustage 430P to compare it with in a couple of weeks.
  17. I have a Titleist Vokey Prototype a 52, 56, 58 and 60 on e-bay right now.
  18. Dang... I need to learn to read Japanese great post I wonder when they are going to release the new line up?
  19. They are the 06 model.. but I'm expecting the new 07 model to ship to me any day now. I've had them ordered for about 3 weeks.
  20. I know! It makes it hard to play with them knowing they are a one of a kind set. They are fantastic for feel and consistancy. Full shots just eat the Golf ball. Spinning a ball off the Green is no problem. But new wedges are on the way.. right Chris??? The Satin Maru's will most likely just make photo appearences from now on. The are still in Excellent condition.
  21. This weeks bag June 24, 2012 Had these irons for about 4 years now. Been treating them more like collectors than players clubs. Planned on playing them 1 round but after 4 rounds I still can't get myself to take them out. Just amazing -- Raw -- Grind by Shinagawa's check back soon as the bag will change
