  1. Just played back to back days with the Epon/roddio. Really struggled the first day with it. Much more than I thought or expected. The left side came back into play. I haven't had that problem with the Axiv-V Shaft. What I noticed after another range session today and another 18 holes is the Roddio shaft is more workable than the Axiv-V. I'd call the Roddio more of a Players shaft. I can't say anything bad about the Axiv-V shaft, Excellent shaft. If you struggle with the left side this is an excellent shaft for you. As long as any shaft I've hit. I can feel the shaft flex more in the Axiv than I can in the Roddio. I like to not feel the shaft as much. I like to feel the Clubhead. Feel... tough one. Nod goes to the Roddio. Very solid. No Vibration. I progresed rapidly today with the Epon w/roddio shaft. This combination is long and workable. The ball just melts off the club.. solid, soft. Can a Driver feel like Butta??? I reached a Par 5 in two today that I've never been able to reach before. Actually had my best scoring round in months. I'm playing in a tournament in the morning. The keep Fairways hit, Gir's, Putts. Plan on kickin some a** tomorrow.
  2. I agree. I Still experiment... nothing beats them. IMO

I have to say I feel a bit the same as you do. Love all the bags but they just aren't that funtional on a Golf cart. I have been meaning to say something... We need a good Cart bag .. or two
  4. PM Chris for details on how to send the Putter back. tourspecgolfer If you send the Putter back, you can have Sasaya do anything you want to it. turn around time.. 3-4 weeks. I use a cameron oil cloth or baby oil.
  5. My bag for the rest of the Season. I couldn't be more pleased. Have losts of pictures of the Putter here http://forum.tourspecgolf.com/index.ph...mp;#entry135070 Pictures of the Irons are here http://forum.tourspecgolf.com/index.php?showtopic=24261 Thanks for looking.
  6. Sent my baby back to Sasaya for a tweak and a Premium Zone insert. Unbelievable!! Lightening has struck twice. Like I have said earlier there is something about this Putter. More incredible than before. This is the best Putter on the Planet. Bring on the Challengers.
  7. I still experiment... with wedges the new Tourstage wedges are the latest. Great wedge, a little smaller head size compared to the Epons. Spins the ball very well. They still won't be taking the Epons out anytime soon. I can't find a better wedge. (Epon)

I have a 3 and 5 wood w/tour AD PT-7 stiff shafts. Great clubs. They are very easy to hit off most any lie. They are in my back-up bag. Kinda sad, excellent clubs and they just sit there. I might not ever hit them again. The Epons w/ the quattrotech shaft are better FW's. IMHO
  9. Chris, I'm curious.. when installing a shaft, what length does Tourspecgolf make the Driver if the buyer does not request a specific length?
  10. How are you measuring the length??? Where is the start point??
  11. Had a chance to hit about 25 shots today at the driving range with the new setup. Epon 460 w/ Roddio W6BA Stiff Range balls, fair shape. The wind was blowing in my face pretty good at about 20 mph. My bad tee shot is to the right, the Axiv-V hasn't helped that. I would still recommend the shaft to anyone that wants to help take the left side out of play. First impression: I didn't feel the Roddio like I did the Axiv. Seems like I can feel the Axiv shaft flex/bend when I hit the ball. The Roddio felt much tighter. Couldn't really feel the shaft flex/bend. I really liked the feeling. It seemed I could do just about anything with the ball. I felt more connected to the ball. My few bad shots to the right didn't go as far right. Ball flight was a bit lower, even into the wind it seemed to penetrate a bit better. It was impossible to tell distance gain or loss with the wind blowing the way it was but I can tell you the ball was still carrying very well. I can't wait to play this baby over the next two days. Overall feel... Excellent. Confidence factor... Excellent Workability .... better than the Axiv Other Drivers that I own and hit regularly that I am comparing it to as well. Tourstage 460 w/Axiv-v 6070 Stiff Tourstage 430P w/Quattrotech 65 Stiff I love both of these drivers. Either one could make my bag in a heartbeat. Will report back in 48 hours and 36 holes.
  12. and the answer is?????
  13. Already there. I've played or hit just about every brand and club out there. Epon rules the show IMO.
  14. Soooooooooooooo.... What became of the Driver???
  15. We are too much alike I too have been using the Epon w/ Axiv V7072 for the last several months and have been just loving it!! I also sent it to Chris to replace with the Roddio shaft. I just got back the Epon today with the Roddio W-6BA Stiff shaft installed by Chris!!!! Will have it in play over the next couple of days. feedback to follow.
  16. Exactly what I'm afraid of.
  17. What it plays is true to loft. Most domestic Drivers have more loft than stated. The Japanese models tend to run true to labeling. I like the lower ball flight of the Tourstage Drivers. Keeps the ball out of the wind. Put a Axiv shaft in that Puppy and the ball flight will be higher, or get the 10.5* Driver for higher ball flight.
  18. Forget the Taylormades and buy the Epon Type "S" You can thank me later.
  19. I have been bouncing back and forth on this one. I have just gone back to the 52-56-60. I think the biggest reason for the extra wedge is the sand traps. Some are much harder than others. If they are hard, it's hard to get the 56 (high bounce) under the ball, it wants to bounce and you end up blading the ball. The 60* will get under the ball. Nice soft bunker the 56 works much better. I like chipping with the 52* if I have any Green to work with. It is also my 70-100yd club. I've been hitting a lot of Greens lately, but when I miss I want a club in my bag that will help me get it close regardless of the lie. You are usually "saving" yourself with a great shot from around the Green.

I have the G-Field 3 & 5 woods w/Tour AD PT-7 - Stiff shafts. Fantastic Club and Shaft Combo. Easy to hit and work. But I'm here to tell you after another day on the Golf Course.... The Epon Technity FW's w/Quattro Tech Shaft is the best FW combo. Period. IMHO
  21. Congrats on the great bag!! I've always said Golf is supposed to be fun. Having a bag full of JDM equipment is half the fun.
  22. Very nice. I'm the same way. I wish I'd have known about these Putters a long time ago. I had been Collecting Cameron Putters. Mostly just the G-field and Golds now. Started about 5 months ago. Hope we haven't bid against each other.

Firstly... I am always experimenting with clubs... I have both the X-wedges and the Technity wedges. Have played both extensively on the Golf Course and Driving Range. I have spent a couple of hours hitting chip shots in the house with them. Off of tight carpet, shag carpet. Chipped with the ball in the back of the stance, front of the stance. Putting stance with toe down heel up. Blade open, blade closed. Very difficult to tell them apart. If you like to open the club, lay flat, for most of your shots you may prefer the Technitys. IMO it comes down to the finish you like. If there is a difference it might be as Blader said and that's a bit more spin with the Technitys. Outstanding wedges. They are keeping many other excellent Wedges on the shelf.
  24. I don't think it's possible to take a picture of these clubs that do them justice. Each one is unique as the finish is not exactly the same from club to club. They play even better than they look.
  25. Amen to that!!! I am currently playing the 15 & 18* with the 22* on the way. I have never hit a fairway wood that even came close to feel and performance. The Quattro tech shaft is a perfect combination... for me.
