I was thinking about it... I'm expecting the Chikara's tomorrow. My first thought is to leave them raw, but I thought it might look pretty good to get a copper color that matches my irons. My problem is I'm afraid I'll never get it perfect and it will drive me crazy. What do you guys think??

Just wondering what is the best kind/type of paint to use for the Irons when doing your own paint fill? Thanks

Nice.. really nice!!! Nothing like a personalized, custom built, one of a kind iron set!!! What I have noticed and like most about the Black gold shafts is that I feel the club head more than I do the shaft. In fact I don't notice the shaft when I hit the ball, just the feel off of the club. I also think they are more consistent from shot to shot. Chris, how is that low torque driver shaft working???

I predict.... It MIGHT be as good as the TS460 and the EPON, but not better....

From my experience... you would be hard pressed to find a better shaft than the GD UT 85

Something I have never seen... I wonder what year it was made? Head size?? How many were made? I kind of like the look of it.

When I sent mine in the turn around time was one day. Chris sent it back out the day after receiving it. Was very pleased with the service.

Nice setup!! Need to add the pics of the x-wedges with the new paint fill. I agree, it's all about what works best for you!! I guess that's why there are so many manufactures and options.

I dare say outside of a touring pro your wife has the nicest setup possible. Very nice. Does she know how amazing it really is?? I don't see any Ladies club listed on the EPON website....

FWIW I have the same 3 wood combo also (Mach 55 S) as well as one with the q-tech 75 S shaft. They are just not the same. They perform much differently. For me, the Quattro tech shaft makes this club work much better. Looking forward to that review.

I have to admit that I am not a TM fan. I have played some of their clubs in the past, never was all that impressed. But those Irons are just plain ugly....

Okay, you've probably all seen this bag before in the 2007 Tokyo show pictures. BUT, I had to post a couple more pictures. I'm not exaggerating when I tell you I have NEVER had so many people comment on anything I have ever owned before. Golf stuff or anything else... including my cars!!! I feel like a celebrity. Oh, and the quality is absolute top notch. Don't get this bag if you don't want people coming out of the woodwork to see it and ask you where you got it. I love answering.... Japan rules the Golf World!!! so, what you guys think??

May I suggest... Go to your local Golf shop that can "fit" you. One of the great things with about getting clubs from this site is ordering in the clubs to YOUR SPECS. Meaning: shaft brand, shaft flex, length, loft, lie, grip size... IMO. Besides the Fantastic set of clubs you will get, having them built to your specs will be the one thing that will improve your game as much as anything.

Some of the most "dull" people in the golf business I have met are the factory reps. I don't know a group of people that are more unaware of the industry they are in than they are. I have yet to figure it out. I guess you need to own a discount store willing to buy a ton of their products and give them away.

I have a couple... have never taken one to the Golf course, just Putt in the back yard with it. The feel is quite muted IMO. I do have a couple of friends that Putt with them to this day. They won't give it up long enough to send back for restoration and one of them needs it, bad.
