S-Yard XV vs T.388 vs XT - Official Comparison Thread!
Ian-500 replied to gocchin's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Great review Tario. I'll never get the chance to test these or other JDM drivers side by side, so for me you can't beat a video review as it brings sound in to play, and I do have a preference to how my drivers should sound, as well how they look and play. Keep the video reviews coming guys. -
Yamaha XV FW 14* is the best I've ever owned. I think it's matched with what seems to be my favourite shaft!

B.E.A.utiful irons. If only.....

Can you compare the ball flights when teed low and teed high? Really interested to know which goes the highest depending on tee height. Thanks.

Had a couple more rounds with the Roddios and here are my thoughts so far compared to Quadra 100i; more stable. Tighter dispersion. Heavier. Firmer feel. Definitely stiffer. Less elastic feeling. Less kick. I think I prefer the feel of the Quadra shafts, but would like to add the the dispersion of the Roddios in to the Quadra's. Some of the feel could be down to the Srixon heads. The Quadra's had Yamaha Tours. I think Quadra 100i in Pro X could be the one. So, before I get the other Quadra shafts, I'm definitely changing the heads for something softer feeling, but......I want to try other graphite shafts such as Bangvoo, Crazy Limited or maybe the Recoils. Don't know enough about the Fujikura MCI shafts but you never know.

Start another thread then Steve. I'd like to here your comparisons with your other graphite shafted wedges. Tar.

Stew, how do the TR500's compare in head size and offset to the Srixon Pro 100's? Really tempted to track down a set in the near future.
-
Yeah Craig, pictures of the shops and surrounding area would be great mate. It sounds like a lot of fun if you have the funds!
