  1. Hahah woops, thanks for correcting me. How embarrassing
  2. ya we must load the shaft extremely similarly because those were they exact same shafts and flexes/weights that I was recommended by my fitter. I figured out the Modus3 120x and Shimada Tour X are also just as good if not better than those for my swing. let me know what you think of the DGL's vs the Recoils after you've gotten the chance to use them a bit. i'm anxious to hear what you think
  3. hi mate.. are these still for sale? or still entertaining partial trades for putters?
  4. hi mate.. are these still available?
  5. hey Dean.. are these CM2plus heads still available?
  6. are the personals still for sale? if so would you sell heads only?
  7. my putter collection currently consists of: SEVEN Limited Edition SH (SM490A) Epon i-33 (s20c) Yamada Borzov (premium soft carbon steel with double platinum boron plating [all the info I could find on its material]) SeeMore Tour FGPss (SUS303) Piretti Rev2.0 Cortino 2 (11L17 carbon steel) I can't elaborate on any specific differences between the different types of steel and what benefits each might provide, but I can offer a description of my personal experiences with each if it's helpuful :/ i'm sure that's not what you're looking for though
  8. I'm in the same boat as you Ian, I was fit into a heavier shaft at 6.5 frequency (which is considered x flex). I've used nothing but steel iron shafts because I've never tried a graphite iron shaft that felt stout or stable enough, too whippy and inconsistent even at x flex. I'm currently gaming KBS Tour 130's built to 6.5 which I'm a huge fan of combined with my blades because it gives me terrific consistent and controllable ball flight and trajectory, I also previously gamed a set of DG x100's which I absolutely loved and Project X 6.5's which were likewise wonderful but I felt a tad less consistent than the x100's. I've also had the opportunity to use the green label Shimada Tour which is a phenomenal heavier mid weight/mid launch shaft. When I was searching for the shafts I wanted for building my blades I demoed the C-Taper and Modus3 120 and really liked both of those too. What I figured out is that, for me, it depends on the head I'm using as to which of the shafts I like is best to use. For MB's and small CB's I like a heavier mid-launch shaft like KBS Tour, Modus3 120 or Shimada Tour because it gives me ideal ball flight and trajectory. For mid to large-size CB's and GI's I like a heavy low-launch shaft like x100 or C-Taper because they give me the ideal ball flight and trajectory with that head type. I currently have a second set of my blade heads and am looking for the shaft I want to build them with, aside from the KBS Tour's because I don't want to have both sets with the same shaft. I'm currently leaning most towards the Modus3 120 in X or TX. However, if you find a graphite iron shaft that you feel is comparatively stable and consistent to the steel shafts we've both been fitted for, I'd love to hear about it and give them a try. So please keep us updated in this post because it seems like there's several people here searching for the same thing.
  9. I love the modart it's prob my favorite hybrid ever, this one looks to be similarly shallow faced but just from the pics the face looks longer heel to toe and the body is less compact at 135cc whereas the modart is 100cc. One of my favorite things about the modart in addition to the shape is its size because you don't usually see hybrids that shape that're also nice and compact. The TF-UT appears to hide its size pretty well though with its nice shape. I'd think if you prefer a hybrid to long irons or DIs this would be a perfect fit
  10. Ugh I'd take the 10.5 off your hands immediately if I had the capability right now.. fingers crossed it's still available when I am able to get it
  11. I've never tried a Maxima because I use x-stiff shafts and always thought I couldn't get it to the proper SW without using hot melt. Now that I know it's possible to order custom head weight it's making me want to consider getting my hands on a heavier Type-V and trying it out. My SS is typically around 105mph ish but for some reason my driver is the one club in my bag that gives me problems, whereas my 3 wood is probably my best club, so much so that it's not uncommon for me to actually hit my 3 wood further than my driver. So this revelation that it's possible to order custom head weight intrigues me greatly because I'd love to see the day where I'm hitting the usual 265-275yd 3wood and actually consistently hitting my driver 280+
  12. Spot-on accurate statement. The PRGR iD nabla tour's have probably the least amount of offset of any cb I've ever seen, except the new '17 Seven CB's which are a picture of perfection but I've only seen pics. I'd also recommend (if you can find a set) KZG Tour Evolution irons, they're a very compact muscle cavity with almost no offset. The Tour Evo's were manufactured by Kyoei until around 2010 ish, so if you can find a set that's a little older in good condition I'd highly recommend, even an old set you could have refinished. I have two sets of KZG Forged blades from Kyoei and I have no plans to ever change to another iron they're incredible.
  13. I don't have irons but I have a 52/56/60 set of raw VEGA wedges which are as much zero offset as anything I've seen. They're exactly the same as the Yururi Raw Gekku wedge (except for stamping) which is a top 5 ranked wedge in the pro shop, and they're basically mint condition. Kyoei forged, unreal spin, shafted with Shimada Tour Wedge shafts and red/black iomic x-evolution grips. I have them listed in the B/S/T if you have any interest and want to see pics.

good luck... I've had a similar WTB post up for a few months looking for one or two 8g weights, I know they exist because I currently have one but I need at least one more. I've tried emailing TSG and posting on here multiple times and I've gotten a total of zero replies

  16. it's about time! I cant believe it took that long for these to go
  17. Still in search of a 20* AF-903 hybrid. If someone has a 20* AF-903 utility iron i may be interested in one of those instead too
  18. There has to be someone out there with an 8g weight they're willing to sell???
  19. Looking for a low launch Sanki Planaria shaft in X flex, either 60g or 70g. Expectations aren't high because I've heard they're amazing but it never hurts to ask
