wow thats a good price especially with that shaft!
-
your ball will not launch optimally. i say optimally as you wont be maximizing the original design of the driver. this is very very low spin. il have mine next week, il have results in after i get to play with it.

yup im gaming the S. for me they are the holy grail at least to me!
-
c tapers play stiffer to flex. im a legitimate S flex but only an r+ on the c tapers. they are good shafts but heavy, might be a big jump coming from the matrix. how about ns1150? they are 110 grams in the R flex and are lower launching than all other ns models . nice punchy feel too!

They look practically brand new! Nice combo

those are incredibly smooth. aerotech steel fiber shafts

Spoon replied to aberdeenlad's topic in Buy, Sell, & Trade
that might be a good idea. the cost of matrix shafts are around $350-400 used. put in some nspros in the 502s. -

well they hardly change models. had my 302s for over a year and i wont change them anytime soon. probably keep them , thats the reason why i got em in copper. probably add some blades down the road but 302s there to stay -

well matrix shafts 4-pw cost around 400-500 but sometimes you can get em cheaper if your willing to look. 502s with steel used are around 900-1000$ on the secondary market. fair price without lowballs imho would be around $1300 your 102 with shaft at least $600. sorry not familiar with the price of that shaft. -
nice M6! if only we did not have such prohibitive excise tax on our vehicles in the PI. you should throw in the clubs to the buyer of the M6:)

Because they really are superior even by a small margin. And its that small Margin that makes a difference. They also feel much better IMHO. Heads are Also softer, lofts and lies can be adjusted etc etc. There are also more steps in the manu process which makes it more expensive. Overall in japan they spare no expense to bring out the best. People here are willing To pay more for the good stuff, especially true in the sporting industry. You get the best Most high tech equipment wether its a badminton racket, fishing poles and golf clubs. Now forged clubs are slowly becoming the norm in the mid to higher end models of usdm Brands. This was very different years ago. Now folks are willing to pay more for quality forgings And as these usdm companies outsource their forgings price is not as expensive as before.

stew whats your basis for considering the stinger as the highest spin? i have two stingers in 70x and i have them in a 10.5 and 9.5 head. they launch pretty high even for me but i find my experiences in the spin department to be the opposite.. low spin. i have tried the lot of them shafts you described with the exception of the BB and Dx. as of the moment i have absolutely no desire to try another shaft unless its a stinger in S flex. best shaft i have tried. but if there was one i could try it would be the DX. if its anything resembling the stinger or has the faintest stingero Dna in it i would buy one in 70s in an instant!
-
with your SS i would suggest a 10.5. what was wrong with the 102? i find that the 152 is for the slower SS player wanting more forgivness and spin. if that is you then you cannot go wrong. i would play it at 44.75-45". dont go below 44 on those bigger 460 heads youd be giving a way some imho. cant comment on the prgr egg driver as i have not hit it.
-
one you get to the 8 series of the DI/DJ line they are different animals. high launch becomes mid low launch super low spin. you have the SS and think you will fit in just find. the DI has less spin than the Dj. if you want to attack pins then the DJ is for you

i saw that in his blog. dont know if its a case of form over function. a bit busy for my liking but im sure the new owner is very very happy and broke:)

50 Fathoms down i reckon? trust me your goose will never be cooked. others will come from the deep to challenge your mighty immortals. its only a matter of time. i wager my 2 stingers!

Have tried most of the 3ws, currently have the ryoma But I actually prefer my yonex ezone 3w. Monster of the tee , better than ryoma for off the tee use. Decent from the fairway.. Bst bang or your buck imho.. For ute I'm still in limbo, looking for a 20.. Outgrown my srix z-uti 18 driving iron.
