FINALLY! i toast a jig of lagavulin with you! the stock 7i is 62 and is more upright than most models but you can pretty much specify your own lie out of the bat. i had mine bent 1* flatter than stock so it would be 61* for the 7i. you bent yours 2.5* but hell if its suits you good for you! i guess your angle of attact coupled with the wider sole width of the 302s warrant a flatter lie !

thats sounds like the perfect trip marred by the huge flight in front of you. they should have placed you guys in front of them. sounds like a lot of fun and stress at the same time. least you broke 90 in that beast of a score. i wouldnt dare play the tips, even the blues might be plenty for me this time of the year.
-
E, il be blunt, the blues are what you want. they feel a lot better than the modus shafts. actually i am not impressed with the modus at all. they are good but maybe i got spoiled with the original protos i had. now switching from kbs to the modus or the sp blues is a step in the right direction. get the blues

How was the game ?

202ht then the egg spoon in 17 then back to the 202ht. I was never comfy with the sound and feel of the egg. I preferred the solid feel of the 2o2ht. It was also easier for off the tee Use. I however got bored and will be replacing it with the RC. I know it's shorter But from what I heard it will be more accurate. Time will tell.
-
i was going to suggest the RC D/S as well. however i am not aware of its forgiveness from the fairway. if there is anyone who can shed light it is Gocchin as he has gamed these before. Stew will be coming out with a review so you could possibly pm him as well. now if the D/S is something you dont want to have to deal with, the egg gets my vote as well in 13. for 14* there are many such as the yamaha inpres x v and the RC twin rail 14*. good luck

another 18 in the bag, have used it in place of the 3w and its almost as long. although i am still adjusting to the head, overall combo is more than satisfying. this is my first 2h as my previous ones were all 19 and 20, the additional loft is alright! this is one of the straightest clubs in my bag and will be using this as a 3w replacement til my 3w comes. i see how the rails benefit this club, and the feel is just great. has more of a solid tink which i like and have grown accustomed to. one thing for certain is that i could have used a lighter shaft same flex or same weight softer flex. i usually game my woods on the softer side but out of the box this thing is manegeable and i still need more time to familiarize with the club. i love this club so much that i ordered the 3w twin rail. cant wait for that one.

Looking forward to your pics. Will get mine 3rd week of June.

1 round under the belt and a will have another go tomorrow. Wow this combo is heavy do not know the static weight but this Is easily the heaviest club in the bag. Had to adjust my timing Many times and had a lot of swing misfires. Off the tee a monster And is almost as long as my 3w but definitely more accurate. This Is a laser club and I think I will be using this more as my go to club When I don't have any confidence in my driver and 3w. The shaft is ok but still sorting the weight issues , must be the head As I use a ns950s in my 19 and 22 and this a measly 75g only. I can say With confidence that I will get this sorted by Tom , the key is to get my tempo And timing in tune with the heavier head. This thing feels like a beast compared To the egg, my Adams and pnt hybrids. Will have more updates Tom.

Epon AF 202 HT 3 wood w/ Diamana BB 63 stiff
Spoon replied to naka8899's topic in Buy, Sell, & Trade
very very well priced item. these are selling for over $630 new in the proshop without the upgraded shaft. one of the easiest FWs ive hit. GLWS -
they actually play very very similar. the onoff actually has some resemblances to the cavity of the 502. in the end both are forged in endo and are quality products.
-
yup, is there an option to get a DI shaft instead of the stock? sending you a pm
-
im considering the 3w in 15. apparently only Gocchin has hit this. whats your comment on the stock shaft?
-
does anyone have any experience with the new 2011 trc twin rail woods? im interested in the 15* and not the driving spoons. interested in actual feedback from those who have tried it. from the pro shop pictures they look deep. i dont mind the compact size but concerned about face thickness, is that the face profile of the D/S? i like a narrower face which gets the ball airborne fairly quickly, had no luck with the 14* yamaha inpres x v, currently using the epon ht but may be enticed to switch if the RC is not overly deep. i love the ute so much considering the 15 trc only if..... guys let me know thanks. Gocchin any inputs?

You are correct the heavy weight actually helps with the swing. Hit around 20 range balls and am very happy. It does indeed produce little stingers with anything less than a dedicated full swing. Will take this out for a quick 18 Tom. I am actually toting the idea of a 15 deg 3w but I'm afraid that it would be a step back in the forgiveness dept. Vs the 202ht. Will have more updates after tom

ive seen the yamahas as well and these are more good looking. havent hit this yet but i can tel it will be solid! i was going to put the di 105 into this one, thank god you told me it was a bad idea!

i just received my 2011 TRC 17* utility with the upgraded ut-75s shaft. man o man is this thing is pretty i love the rounded looks very much! not a fan of the boxy hybrids. this is very appealing and love what they did in changing the shaft color to a tasty tangerine! the head is bigger than i thought and first impressions are quality, quality! seems heavy on dry swinging, will bring it to the range later and post some pics! so for now my bag is stable and no gaps between driver- putter! thanks blader for your review and T for always steering me into the right direction! im so glad i listened to you.

Crazy CB46 vs. Muziik Bangvoo Premium vs. Quadra FE 65
Spoon replied to bogeydog's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
not a crazy but i recommend the fire express lite 45+ gram shafts for you sir philip! that would go well in the premia heads. -
you should. they are completely sold out in japan. so in a couple of years they would be cult items the 208s are the best epon wedges by a mile
-
Good choice.you will love it!
