  1. tired of second quessing. the proto 7s would be the real deal. the 9003 would be awesome and probably the winner if the quadra was not in the picture but since it is, bad luck for any other shaft! as for it kicking the 102 quad off the bag, possibly. if theres anything that can this could be it.
  2. Ok ok. Sorry couldn't have been more helpful
  3. Will you be doing it yourself? Your club builder will knowmfor sure though
  4. im completely convinced. i love the yonex gear, im gaming the ryo irons, have had two sets of the ryo generation irons and they are one of the best feeling irons i have hit. i was curious about the pb irons and was actually considering getting the 3iron head to match my ryo irons. but also thinking about the yonex #3 zero iron. i also love the 380cc, i have the 10 deg and its awesome, still getting the hang of it. its unfortunate though they dont have it in the UK. you can however get it here in tsg.
  5. Yes and now, provided your swing is fine your setup could also be a likely culprit. Too far from the ball
  6. Tell me about it. Il do a head to head yonex380 vs epon380 . Winner gets To stay in the bag
  7. I will not revert back to the dark ages hehe. Once you try the 80ts hard to Try anything else. I'm thinking the proto but also am curious about the 9003 And even e stinger but those are sooooo hard to find.
  8. Guys after tinkering with my yonex 380 driver I have come to the conclusion That the 60+ gram shafts are too light. The quadra fex is not satisfactory and will Reshaft it with a tour ad quattro md 7 shaft I have being idle. This got me thinking I have an older epon 380 10deg that Ian thinking of playing around with.Do note his is Is an old classic and long even by today's standards. I hear its epons longest driver to date? Anyway Wondering what to shaft it with. The gd tour ad 9003 comes to mind, even the quadra 70ssounds interesting But don't want to shell out another 5bills for an experimental head. Has anyone compared the proto to the 9003? I think that the 9003 is gds top of the tops similar to the diamana Stingers etc etc. Need input guys. Thanks

Need one for an upcoming project. Need the 74g s flex version. Thanks found one yesterdat thanks
  10. Looks better from this angle. The sole width though is quite wide. T while were on the topic why is it called rb247? And what is the significance of 247? I ask because there is a playeresque cb 247 and bladed mb247.
  11. guys let me share some pics of the most underrated irons i have ever gamed. these irons are superb! im surprised they dont get as much attention as other JDM brands? imho these are one of the best irons i have ever gamed, the best were my previous 06-07 cyberstar nanovs! still kicking myself for selling those. these however although endo forged are not as soft as the 06/07s which were epon soft. this has a sort of al-dente feel which i hear ryo ish actually prefers. but where it lacks in softness it makes up in playability. i rarely ever game heads this small and compact but there is something about these that make em click! at address postion the lines just flow, they are shorter heel to toe and more compact than other brands, top line is not so thin and is just right and the satinized face makes framing the ball very suitable. i really love the simple lines and flowing shape. wish other brands take note of this. shafted these heads with nspro 1050s and the combination is harmonious. im still getting used to the traditional lofts, have around 5 rounds under the belt and am more than satisfied. im so glad i snatched these. also have the ryo 380 that i am trying to tame. all in all im happy with the yonex stuff. ask me 2-3 years ago and i will laugh at the thought of having an almost all yonex bag. eyeing the zero iron #3 and the wedges. their woods aint shabby either! kudos to yonex! for those who missed out on these i hear Tsger has another set. snatch it while its still around.
  12. The 202 is actually very compact. Yonex looks good but face is on the deeper side
  13. Been struggling with my egg spoon 17 lately. Haven't been able to really maximize the egg since February, sure id get Really good shots but I was never as consistent as with my 202. I guess I'm one of the few that prefer the feel and sound of the Epon. I actually find the 15ht more forgiving than the egg 17. Both are equal in distance but I do get a higher flight with the 202ht. Luckily my dad was wiling go swap so we pulled our respective shafts and stuck em on our new heads. The was just something about the egg that did not sit right with me. I think I would get distracted and make Some unconscious movements when I would her that aerodynamic swoosh on the downswing.
  14. Well after my round today I have decided to get a 17 utility. My 4 iron and 22 epon 901 Are perfect for their respective distances, I find getting a ute that's 20 to close. I am opting for the 17 as I've decided to kick the egg out off the bag and move back to epon 202 ht. So I think I have All the yardages covered. I realized that I prefer the epon 202 to the egg
  15. how about the TRC utes? keeping an eye on that one!
  16. yup i do indeed. i also like em raw. might get both your mochis @ frank, got the crazy wedges huh? before you know it youl want the bag as well!
  17. is there a lighter sigma? what are their weight offerings, id like to try one out but not the one stew is playing. with 286 cpm, my back hurts just thinking about it.
  18. the r400 are heavy but on the flexier side, with your SS you can defintely shape your shots with a nice tempo. i doubt though youl have the patience to use these long term. but for the price you got em for i would have pounced on them as well!
  19. they are custom built by the tour department of Onoff so they must be good. only problem for me is the looks, i cannot get passed the tungsten thing, it actually looks like a hackers set of sticks. i much prefer the onoff forged + gocchin posted in his blog a few weeks ago. when i think of labospec i think of the cb247 or anything in the lines of a players CB, the Rb seems to be following a different philosophy.
  20. I think mine is 380cc although it says 360 forged Titan. I actually regretted Selling mine as well but was able to get it back. Awesome club, and long even for today's Standards. Will compare this to my ryo yonex 380
  21. well i wont sell it:) anyway il help ya out on the wedges, do you have any in 50-52 that will be a good match for my existing mystery 56? nonconforming sharp raw grooves il take it.
  22. you have all the luck. that particular time you were present. and you got it for a song. if i were you id set up a personal CCTV camera right in front of the counter to see all the goodies that pass thru!
  23. hey stew you never told me what my mystery wedge is? is it a kyoei forged one?
