good question. im curious as well. probably not though as conforming grooves were the last thing in mind when this custom set was planned. i could be wrong though

not sure but usually with a lot of golf equipment there is most usally a jdm and usdm. guy claiming it could be right but he could be wrong as well. lets let the experts chime in.

weve built a couple of sets of 302, not as much though as the 502. however i have a friend that has tested the and reviewed the 302. i will ask him to chime in

mr J summed it up. im surprised though you went for this instead of the 302. i wouldnt be surprised though if you had a 302 as well:)

brad, i am a 2 year af701 user. these clubs are sick and soo long. also more forgiving than anything i have had in my arsenal of jdm sticks. after trying the af502s i decided to get one because they were not that difficult to hot and forgiveness for me is a tad less than the 701. when i say a tad less i mean marginal. plus you have the advantage of working the ball a bit. they are soft too and gone is the clickly sound of the 501. the alpha gel is revolutionary. it is soo soft and dampens unwanted vibrations on mis**ts.. i say demo them you wont be dissapointed

950wf or weight flow are ascending weight models, lighter on longs and progressively heavier on the shorts.

i am using the ns950s Weight flow shafts. they are awesome . have a couple of other shafts lined up for use but these are money on the 502s.

great review randy. i just started experimenting with a shorter driver. i used to play 45.5 but have chopped it up to 45" and getting great results. i have a back up driver same everything except that it is 44". so far im good with the 45" cant notice any gain in tighter dispersion with the 44" as for your mama egg what length does it play? i assume its a 43.5? i play a 16*4 wood that is 42,5". this is probably the shortest id go w a 3/4wood. anyway ive been waiting for a used egg to pop up for months. so far none yet. by a longshot if you do sell lemme know:) can we have pics of your happy egg family?

chikaras are good, had one of the first prototype and they worked well but have moven on to other brands. i used to carry a lob 60 but decided to shift to a 3 wedge setup pw 51 and 58. that way i have extra room for a long club. 58 is a lot more forgiving where i play than a 60

there is no best. fwiw i only have one sand wedge which i use for sand and fairway. i rotate between an epon kgx and a shinagawa handmade. both in 58*
