chris, thats one unique putter. as for the finish what exactly do you call it. looks like some red mist. what is the head made of and what weight is it? thanks -

damn those tour vans look better equipped than most of the local proshops. id like to visit the onoff tourvan. would be fun indeed

type d. minus the colors it looks like the one with the most beneficial characteristics for my swing. since i am a digger with steep angle of attack maybe yours as well.

Nick, my epon kzg is in black golds. some people love black golds in their shafts i for one am not one of them. i love the bgs in my irons but for some reason i am not getting along with it in my wedges. i cant quite explain it but i just love the feel of nspros in my wedges. have tried dg, bg, etc the nspros are my favorite so far. i may even consider going graphite on my wedges as i just love the feel of my armrqb4 shafts. just buttery.just my 02 cents

nope i have not. the af are the first epon af wedges i own. very good versatile wedges but its important you choose a shaft appropriate for the head.

i have an eldik gdo, regular eldik or a leap.

i do not have experience with the m-65 but i have tried the quattro series, tour ad w series and the pt series. imho the pt had the best overall feeling and ballflight for my type of swing and playing style. others have avrying opinions but tis is just me. i was actually playing a pt8s and although it was a bit stiff for me had one of my best and longest drives with it. i am contemplating moving to softer shafts and a pt6 or 7 might be my next purchase. for me the ballflight was what i was drawn to with the pt. it was nice and boring and never really topped off. just the way i like it and with lots of roll. had the quattro for one day and did not suit me. good luck on your choice. i will be testing an axiv x for some peace of mind and if that doesnt work i guess im back to the pt

Tbone, i know the feeling, you now deep down you want the MTI just pull the trigger, if you dont like it you can always sell it. at least you would have peace of mind:)
-
that is a very god putter, in fact it was one of the reasons why i moved back to the blade style. but you are right it is expensive. for that price i can get a customized putter of my choice in the US
-
i agree. if they had a satin version or gun metal id be all over it by now
-
i have the epon af wedges. they are very good. the wedges that have lasted the longest in my bag are ping mb wedges, beres mg801 and the epons. i have been curious about the mti wedges but reluctant to pull the trigger bec of lack of reviews. i would suggest trying out the mti type d. be the first to review em they must really be special as they are real popular among japan touring pros. good luck

based on the limited time i have spent with the emb i can say that it is unlike any other driver i have felt or used. i had some issues getting used to it at address but that soon changed and i got accustomed to it after a few minutes in the range. first of all let me say that the emb i tried was a 10.5 shafted with axiv x 60ish gram stiff shaft (sorry forgot the model#) so my initial comments are based on this combo and others may have different inputs based on the shaft installed. but with the axiv shaft i noticed that i was able to hit the ball very very consistent with this one. the shallow face certainly helps and is a welcome treat compared to the emb predeccessors. also the sound and feel at impact is undescribable until you had a go at one yourself. there is a loud pop similar to a small suppressed .22 cal going off. you certainly can hear it and the feel that accompanies it is very soft. its almost like the head has face ahs shock absorbers or something. this is in a good way as i am able to feel the ball much more. there is tremendous feedback and you will know if you hit a good one or not. i am a natural slicer but this driver has somewhat cured my slice. maybe psychological but my slices seemed to be more manageable and the dispersion was much tighter although i attribute this to the shaft. ball flight was a nice boring mid trajectory but i found that it was higher than what i was accustomed to but very good considering that the shaft was lighter than i liked yet a bit stiff for this head imho. am i making sense? i guess that if i had to shaft it myself i would like a softer shaft, i personally think that a softer flexed shaft would do wonders for this head. but that is just me. all in all i think that the emb would be the answer for everyone looking to find more fairways:) who isnt right? only downside to this driver imho is that will all the technology crammed into this package is that it lost some of its workability. so you guys who love working the ball may have better success with the previous models. i know for sure i want an EMB!
