got my putters today. 1 premium zone #1 and 1 leap. both feel exceptionally well built and well balanced. although i am more impressed with the feel and putting motion of the leap. its just well built and feels like an extension of my arm. i cannot wait to test on my game tom!

i like the fourteen a lot shapewisde and profile wise. would be nice to see them in solid black/grey with red or yellow piping. one of the best bag designs ive currently seen in actual was a prototype beres black tour bag. now that one rocked! il try to get pics

reid, i too have been eyeing the on/offs. this doesnt exactly help my list for jdm gear :tsg_smilie_blackeye:maybe in the future though as ive already pulled the trigger on some epons. Im fact the on/offs were my second chooice. J.K nice review though. i am still yet to find an iron i can consider soft, hopefuly the epons will.

let me know how that goes. i am thinking of getting some for my epon x irons. gotta take care of my investment

Strong lofts, weak lofts, different shafts....

well said man! this is going to be a long journey of trial and error and i do hope that in time find the right set of gear that suits my own type of swing. for now its experimentaion... as for consuming, its driving me mad! as the saying goes, "Golf is deceptively simple yet endlessly complicated" -

i was just thinking of this the other day. when i was using my ping g5s i would get about 160-75 yards ave for my 7 iron. when i switched to my sword katana jdm with rifle 90s R i noticed that it dropped to about 140. the trajectories were also much much higher. took a long time for me to accept and i though i was doing something different with my swing trying to swing harder just to make the distance. i the realized it could be my clubs and shafts and in fact i have actually tried to adjust and adapt to how my curerent irons play. i am eventually going to change the shaft into something a bit stiffer. whats funny is that my ping mb 56 wedge w nspr 950 S hits further than my jdm Pitching wedge:) -
this makes a great reference. thanks for sharing gocchin!

guys i am in a bit of a dilemma. i have been looking for an iron set to get and have been choosing between the many jdm brands. in the end based on reviews and the advice of certain mods, i have decided to narrow it down to epon. Now my problem is choosing between the type s or type x. would have loved the js but i am not qualified at this moment to use em Just to tel you a little about my game, im just took up the sport again this year, i played a little when i was about 11 but completely stopped since. my handycap revolves around the 20s region with strokes being saved the more times i play. biggest improvements have been my short game and putting. Current players are Sword katana i830 irons with rifle 90 shafts and a beres mg801 which i am saving for future use. i guess i am looking for game improvement irons that have exceptional feel and playability with forgiveness. also looking at one that is relatively sleeker in profile. so i am deciding between the type x or s. both have great reviews. was wondering if you guys can help me decide one that will suit my game and more. thanks in advance

Gocchin, this is a very timely thread i am very interested to see your feedback. ive been eyeing the epons and yuri yuris for quite some time now. how bout adding a gold's cb to your review
-
alex, better write a review on your new gems! i would do the same with the headcovers. they have some in tsg but i dont think its magnetic http://www.tourspecgolf.com/catalog/product-info-1278.html

good look with the irons, give us feedback when you finally receive em.

the gold's blades are works of art. .........if only i were capable enough to play with these. If epon came out with blades those would seriously rock!

i am curious as to how that would taste like? can you send me a can along with my wedges? -
depends, i just had my irons changed to a d3 from a d0 and want my wedges a bit heavier. so im thinking around d7/d8 for me would be ideal.

thanks chris.
