im going to try reviving my old school mizuno mx23s, since im bored and have a set of black golds from bogeydog im deciding on replacing the stock oem graphites with this. since i am havig great success with the epon x tour concept combo im curious to see what all the hype is with the black gold. anyone try this combo? im curious to hear your opinions before i have them reshafted. it was either black golds on Mx23 or black golds on beres mg801 but decided to leave the stock armrq shafts alone.

jeff have you had time to do a head to head chikara epon comparison? we are all eager to see your comments on your new wedges. as for spinning the ball, yes there are just so many variables and its interesting you mentioned the golf ball. i am using el cheapo maxfli noodles for 90% of my game. since my handicap is relatively high mid 20s im more concerned about not losing any balls:)

i am using the 15* and i actually have had greater success hitting it on light fluffy rough as oppossed to fairways. guess the little elevation always helps. from the tee no doubt its a keeper. sounds like you know what you want. that always good i on the other hand am still in the experimentation stage, havent been playing long. as for wedge shots i always want a little spin but not too much. there are so much possibilities that its mind boggling but i usually am very very happy if i can consistenly make shots wherein the ball bites and moves +/- 1-2 yards before stopping . havent had much success lately,

sounds like you are one of many having success with the epon technicity 3 wood. what loft 13.5 or 15? anyway i on the other hand am not as consistent as i would like with it but its still in my bag. i attribute this to my experience but i tend to have more success with a wood with a lower profile. anyway as for wedges i guess its a personal preference and understanding your game and your abilities will answer your question. but the general concensus is that the epon technicity wedges have crazy spin. a bit too much for some. others swear by them though. so in the end its a case to case basis.

its becasue they are more expensive than the brands you mentioned. however they arent much more expensive if you keep the armrq shaft ratings to 1 star. ofcourse the price gets exponentialy more expensive the more stars you have.

i have the 2007 brochure and the only iron with nspro 950 option is the 901. i could be wrong though
-
they have them in graphite design, axiv and even roddio. check the proshop they have pretty much everything you need.

jeff, dont know about you but the picture im looking at has a mystical look. the finsish of the wedge has a magical, black pearl luster finish to it. im sure they look more gorgeous in person,

love the black/red combo. looks very durable -
epon sound like what your looking for. you can also specify specs based on your preference and playing style. D, i heard from the guy you got it from, he wants it back:) anyway i also picked up a 4 wood from him as replacement for my epon 3w. cant wait to test it out
-
exotic it is:) anyway no prob good luck with the sale or trade.
-
thats the whole point:) i want the wedges to be stealthy. i may consider red for the actual logo and everything else to be black. will macth the black shafts and black grip. as for your epons will check it out. im also considering paintfilling my type x with red paintfill. too lazy though to do it

pm sent.

CRYSTAL! anyway i guess il have an easier time since the chiks will be raw. will post pics when they are done although im thinking glossy black on black
-
dave im a bit confused are we supposed to use acetone or non-acetone nail polish? you mentioned acetone in your previous post
-
actually im seriously considering it but if youve seen pics of carls workshop and the method used to apply the paintfill it looks like a no brainer for someone with steady hands. i on the other hand have not attempted something like this since i was a kid who did models as a hobby. i guess the best way would be to use a toothpick to apply the coloring and spraying some enamel clearcoat to seal it in. can someone else whos done this chime in? kawiika has done this before. frankly i will attempt my paintfill in solid glossy black and maybe have the actual chikara logo in red. as for you matching it to your copper wedges im not sure if there is a copper colored paintfill unless of course you can have the actual shade mixed up by someone. if not try gold or something. if your scared you can always experiment with clubs you dont value or use as much

the selection of numerous wedges and actually choosing one is getting more difficult by the day. too many wedges too little time. thank god for choices. if ever i do bite on the yuris i would love to give the raw gekku wedges a try

i got a nike sq1 tour 9.5 with graphite design tour ad w60 Tp burner with fuji stock shaft r7 with stock shaft and check this out mint 9.8/10 sword katana izu max cor just google it i cant post link here willing to trade em fo your driver
-
jeff we going to be paintfilling some special wedges by any chance? will be attempting the same thing soon
-
G, spending too much time here huh? i thought youd never give up your Tittys! anyway good choice on the epons. let you try my driver when it arrives although the w6ba sr would be too soft for you. no harm in trying. also you cant go wrong with that axiv you seleced, many have had great success with it. i agree with Gocchin, fill up your stats in the fitting thread, tourspecgirl can recommend a good shaft for you.

does anyone know the ideal lengths of different hybrid shafts should be say 18* and 20* ? i purchased a speeder hybrid shaft that is 39.5" and dont know which hybrid loft it will be more suitable for,

-
are the ysh-85's the same as the ut 85? im quite satisfied with stock shafts of the gf-ts
-
cycles per minute. more cycles= more vibrations= stiffer shaft
