A thing that may help is if you add a heavy Nippon putter shaft to a Golds with a 350g - 360g head. The overall balance is such that a "punch" will be difficult to accomplish as it will most likely promote a stroke. I would give it a go. The GF001 is a beautiful head for instance.

They are extremely well finished, you get them to your exact specs, the balance is wonderful and you can have a specific look with inserts and finishes that truly make every putter unique.

I have a couple of Gold's Factory and have had a few hundred other putters. Can't get these out of my hands though. As Stu said, get a Gold's or a Gold's modified of a model that suits your eye. That would be a good start. Yamada, Hiro, an old G-Field or why not a Seven? All great as well. I'm tickled by Armsgain too. They look amazing and the story is cool. Good luck!

Yubin, can you snap a couple more pics on the Gold's?

Thanks Stew! Irons, wedges and hybrid have all been dialed in by yourself.
  10. As the little brother of that Zy of yours. I see. When you are done with it, you have my address :-)
  11. The KBS tour steel shafts are counterbalanced to an extent. I like them as they are heavy enough. In a driver though it would not be for me. I like to feel the head and I play my drivers shorter than standard - typically 44.5". I assume that counterbalancing is mostly something for longer drivers? The head weight must be up there around of over 200 grams or it will feel like a fishing rod. Or am I wrong?
  12. I have the BM-Ti but without the "R". It is in the BST now as I hit it too high, and although the face is square, it has a tendency to want to draw. Great for point and shoot and it is a really easy fw to hit. High launch, long, big sweet-spot and great looking head. I just want is a bit more neutral as I want to hit fades and draws at will. Stupid, I know, but it is difficult learning old dogs that sitting down on command is a smart move if candy (birdies) is what you're after..

Thanks partner! I knew the figurine king would appear here - I don't have your touch in that area :-)

Since I've been a member for just about 10 years, I figured it is time to show off some of the goods. This is what my bag looked like for most of last season: Grand Prix XP-3 Platinum 10° with Diamana X 70 in stiff or Baldo 911D 9.5° with Diamana Blue Japan Limited 73 in stiff Agrind Kobe 15° with Fire Express 75 in sx or Proceed Ti-UT 15° with Basileus UT-8 in stiff Royal Collection BBD 505V 21° utility with Tour AD-UT 95x Honma TW-U #4 with KBC C-taper light in stiff Yamaha Tour model 2009 with KBS Tour black nickel in stiff, hard stepped once YuRuRu Raw Gekku 45° with KBS Tour black nickel in stiff SDJ Limited 115 plated 50° and 56° with Modus 130 in stiff YuRuRi Tataki 60.5° with KBS Tour black nickel Gold's Factory Private Stock #2 with Nippon heavy shaft and Iomic grip. 35". This is not the one though, this I found on Yahoo Japan brand new the other week (thanks Dean!). The one I've played with is on its way back from TSG club works where it received a treatment of boron black finish with red and white paint-fill and a black Teramoto shaft, topped off with an Elite RS-100 in the same red as the paint-fill. Can't wait.. The bag is an Onoff in stealth black with red plush lining. Even better than my 1995 Belding Snake Eyes (when they were under Ernie Vadersen's management and made the best wedges in the game of golf) staff bag. Besides what is in this bag, there are a few more with stuff like: Yonex Ezone MB with Crazy Tour Targets in Smoke with red Masda slick fits PRGR idbl with Steelfiber Player's Spec in stiff Agrind Classic Crazy CRZ-450 with Crazy Boron Kamui TP-07 Epon ZR460 Buchi wedges Royal Collection wedges Loads of putters and then some :-) So, on to the pictures:
  17. So, Christmas special on this one too. $199 OR trade for a JDM putter? What do you have stashed away?
  18. As it is almost Christmas, how about $399 OR trade whole driver for a ZY-11, ZY-7 or Itobori head only?
  19. bngolfer replied to wedda's post in a topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Yeah, some of those figurines could very well feature in a porceline version of 50 shades ?
  20. bngolfer replied to wedda's post in a topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Man you are crazy ? Looking good!
  21. No, forward cg did not help with elevation. I carried a 1-iron back then and rarely used the club-x. It is cool though ?
  22. I use an RC 505V, I assume that is an Ako-san design. This looks tasty too! Also have an old Sonartec HB001 that is really nice. Chris, I have a Precept prototype Club-X that Tad Moore gave me in 1997. It was from Japan and the first hybrid ever I've been told. Remember those?
  23. Sending warm thoughts from a chilly Sweden. Stay positive and focused if you can. Björn
