This is certainly a great way to improve ball striking skills. One thing to remember though is to have similar shafts and swing weight or timing will be messed up. For sure a lot of fun and when you have taken the blades to the range a few times they will make it onto the course too ?

To me, all the "evidence" is personal preference. Font, gold ring, grind marks, s-curve etc. But that is fine.

Mikey, I think that is right. I had a few cast Honma blade sets in the early 1990's and they always felt great albeit not as soft as say Mizuno TP-9 and TP-18 that I also had. My favorite Honma blade was the PP-717 - fantastic but had a sweetspot the size of a dime. So rewarding when struck right.
