Yes..you were the guy I was looking for. IIRC the 900 speed are forged but how soft is the forging and is $800 a good price? Every iron except the 8 is 9-9.5/10. The 8 has a rock ding that is why. Also the came stock with rifle 5.5s. Was that a factory option?

I've noticed free clubs generally feel better than retail as well :whistle: . Those are nice looking and I have seen those as well in person. The ones I saw didn't have that slash-cavity thing in the middle. Just the normal muscle. I think it was a 2003 model. It was $800 practically new, except for a 1/8" rock ding on the 8 iron sole.

I know there is a member here who plays PRGR. How are the PRGR "Speed" irons I think the ones I saw were 901s, not really sure though the ones I saw are not on the PRGR site anymore. I liked how they looked. Essentially like my X Blades but a little bigger. Feel, trajectory, and sole grind are what I would like feedback on. Also what is a good price on them?

Try the Purple Ice very good 80 gram shaft with low bendpoint.

I guess I am the only one who doesn't like NS Pros. I have had 4 sets with NS Pros. One even had the wight flow model. I find them a little flimsy at the tip. Every swing had to be smooth. For me it went left faster than other steel shaft. I probably had the wrong flex but I still didn't like the overall feel and balance The TX Tours however are another story.......

If end up not liking it you could add a slash to the top of that "h" in the cavity and it would look like "TM" in cursive then sell it over a BSG for $$$$ imagine Protoypes that say Made in Japan on the actual club itself :cool:

Like I said weight kit is 10-2-2-10 weights only. Just like the US retail.

R7 max is just like the retail R7 US version with a non conforming face. However like I said I feel the Japanese versions are better feeling because they seem to use heavier heads. Weight Kit is still 10-2-2-10 only and same goofy headcover.

The R7 max with the 55gram shaft is a solid club. When the R7 first came out i demoed it 9 holes alternating against my R300Tour/Six combo. Hardly any difference between the two when the R7 max was set to nuetral maybe little better dispersion but I attribute that to the R7 being a S flex when I might be more of an X in that shaft. IMHO the TM Japan heads with the lighter shafts have better feel because they are probably heavier heads. Hotter heads give me better ball speed readings but all in all the distance gain is maybe 5-10 yards solid on solid. If your going the non-conforming route just for fun anyway check out the Japanese component heads some have .90 Cor claims.

Can I order just satin wedges with custom stamp? Lets say a 52 with just a red "M" and a 58 with just a yellow "M". $$$ shipped to PI? How long? Planning a birthday gift.

I have to bring up the SW about a point/point and a half on a few clubs. The lead tape looks "cleaner" around the hosel than on the head. Any effects as to shaft performance aside from maybe more flex because of the heavier swingweight.......on steel shafts...on...graphite shafts...on irons....on woods...?

I am deciding whether to buy a US retail 580XD ($200) and reshaft with a 661 S flex I have lying around or get the Japan release 580XD ($325)which already has a TM Speeder 65 Tour in it. Non conforming is not an issue for where I am So Questions..... Is the TM Speeder 65 Tour in it a decent shaft? Is the Japan 580XD more solid feeling. Like how I compare my 510 TP Japan gainst the 510TP US? I think because my TP came stock with a 569 and the head seems to weigh heavier (D2 sw).

Ok I broke down and "sinned". I got 2 (YES TWO) GD USA putters. 1 GAA1 and 1 GAA3. No customization. Stock retail. $255 in my hands total for both. New. I figured I could at least get rid of them at what I got them for if I didn't like them. Hopefully when all my hospital bills are paid I can get a GD Japan. Eyeing the Tour Zero Black and the Tour 3 Black for X'mas.

I agree. My R7TP was very muted as well. I had a Japanese one from Chris. Have to agree w/ FAQ... mine is the Japanese version on the GD I65 and it is not tinny at all. Very solid. Just noticed you play a Nak380. Can you compare against the TP? Thanks

I just wonder....The heavier stock heads on the 510TPs (the ones with 569 and 661 from Japan) also feel more solid to me. Does a heavier weight cartridge in the back change the feel enough?

50 yards??? Maybe 2 years ago with my R300 Tour/757 S tipped 1 inch combo. I killed that sucker. Not anymore. I have been getting weaker and heavier (fatter) lately. I got diagnosed with sleep apnea. The doc says he figures its been going on for 2 1/2 years now. We were flipflopping on surgery or a CPap machine. Finally decided on a Bipap Machine. Damn that thing is expensive. To give you an idea I could've bought the RAC Protos on the other site at Todd's price (not the REAL market price) with how much my machine costs. I figure I won't be hoing much for the next 6-8 months. Thankfully I can live off Willy's hand me downs. Hint....what's next...... 10%.....Actually I don't think I have anything from him that has been "Kwok'd". I have tired a few things. The Blueprinted TNs were the closest to making my bag. My swing is, actually was, a real solid but violent whack at the ball. Ever since the apnea I'm back to being a mere mortal and now trying Six, 661s, 569s etc. :wah:

Actually upon recomputation of exchange rate it is $145 new. Chris, I plan to get the US GD for now and then get one of yours for my birthday in 7 weeks. I told the guy who owns the store your story. He wants to sell GD Japan instead but unfortunately they will only sell direct to HK. If I point him you way is there anything you can do?

Duke, the guy who metioned the 671 is the biggest clubho in the Philippines. Willy is over in CA maybe 2xs a year. His wife thinks that Joe Kwok is a high priest of some new religion that Willy belongs to. I think he spends half his time tinkering in Joe's lab when he is there. I don't blame him. 90% of what Joe has put together works for him....the other 10% trickles down to me. How is the 671? I might get Willy's if the 661 X turns out too stiff.

But if someone were selling me a brand new (actually shop worn) GD USA putter GAA3 for $155 would it be worth it? Without discussing all the troubles that GD US and Japan are going through is the workmanship on the GAA3 US worth $155. If you don't want to discuss in the open PM me.
