  1. What is "updated triax"?
  2. Lots of PMs replied to...if I missed anyone or missed saying thank you to any offers I apologize. I will go through everything again tomorrow. BTW am in no real hurry. The person bringing the head to me from San Fo,CA will be leaving in a little less than 20 days so I have time.
  3. Forgive the ignorance is the R540 DF Tour a "smoothie" or a "ridgie"? Is it square? Head only?
  4. Either retail or tour. 9.5 or 10.5 loft. 8.5/10 or better PM me. Cash or.... Trade bait: 2-LW (11pcs) Ping ISI Nickels factory DGS400 8/10 conservative RJB MC7
  5. Separate areas for wood, irons, etc. The GEA swapshop has something similar and it works when I'm looking to buy or sell something in particular.
  6. Match it to your current set up. I would go orange since I currently play a 510TP and use a R7 stand bag.

which makes him MAX right... ummmm....are ya waving that finger at me ?? or MAX ???? Rob, I think if you interpret it as a thumb its for you....If it's the middle finger it's for max.
  8. Most Japanese clubs especially from the 80's and even early 90's had the SNs on the ferrule. I would say the Japanese way of thinking is "We have made this club to exact specifications don't change the shafts yourself and screw up the workmanship and the warranty." The way they were built especially in the late 80's I wouldn't blame them. IIRC when I ordered my custom Honmas in 89 I think. They asked me ....if the preferred length I indicated was to end of shaft or end of grip....If I wanted to achieve the SW I wanted thru heavy head light shaft or slighty lighter head and heavier shaft....Any special grind on the 11 and SW wedges....What I won't forget is the bill was $$$$$ after.
  9. Yes!! DD, Can you give me the model number? I trying to make friends with the local TS distributor so he can get me this bag hopefully in a bluish color. If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay? Also how big is the opening?
  10. Does this bag have a putter well? The only reason I use the R7 bag even though I don't play an R7 is that the opening is on the big side (9" I would guesstimate) and it has a putter well.
  11. Does the "TUBU" have the shaft go in the end of the heel like a JAT?
  12. I love the Japan bags. I have a J's Staff bag which is awesome. They need to start putting putter wells though and to make them a little wider and taller.
  13. I believe that there is a distinction between GI-Player's CB and player's CBs. GI-player's CBs are for me basically GI size (midsize-slightly oversize) but with "player's attributes"= less/no offset, thinner topline, versatile sole grinds. Totally different from Player's CBs because of SIZE. I mostly play what under my criteria would be player's CBs, I would however classify my X16PS as GI-Player's CBs and they do play like them. Slightly more forgiving than everything else I play but just slightly to big for me comfort. Just like there are forgiving blades (MP33s) and not so forgiving blades(TN87s). They are different animals from the same genus.
  14. Speeder617, Haha. Probably not Carlsbad the rent is too much $$$ over there....actually it could be his excuse...."I need to let all of these wonderful tour issues go because rent is so high, btw I live 1 mile away from the TM facility." Speeder, if he is legit and you buy everyone I call first dibs on the Black MBs. I know of only 1 sale of that set ever. BTW nice name, that is an extremely nice shaft.
  15. With most recent LOCAL newspaper in background. You plan to catch his location and make a visit now do you mr. superslueth? Good try my man. We can have Chris go the ISP route if we really want :smile1:
  16. The TX 90s for woods play a lot stouter than the TX 90s for irons. Also Nippon makes fairway wood shafts I guess they might be offering steel shafts for drivers as well. They rifle lites worked really well in drivers and fws they are just so hard to find in the correct flex.
  17. Hmmmm..............Black MP33s no stampings except with "M" navy paintfill with white outline..............order now and get it just in time for Christmas.
  18. I promised my wife that we will be taking our daughter to Anahiem/Disney when school lets out in March. She is turning 6 and it would be the right time. Just make sure you get a weekend free for golf 54 holes(27 a day). I promise to bring exotic Japan stuff only...Shimanos, Katanas, Akiras....Lambanog, Tuba (ask your dad what these are) you won't believe how good the "unknown" Japanese stuff is.
  19. My dad just arrived as well with my R7 stand bag. Duke, I called up the local TM distributor. They will be having the new "Japan stand/staff bags" in a few weeks. No idea on pricing yet. But usually they just match the MSRP with discounts for cash/multiple purchases. I will let you use my name. - "Honey it was given to me as a wedding present by this guy I met on TSG"
  20. Well looks like this problem was solved for me unintentionally. My TX Tours arrived ALL IN REGULAR FLEX. I will sticking DGS300s (no.1 shaft of choice so far for me) in the X Blades instead I really wanted to go lighter so I could go from 37.5" 5 iron to 38 inch 5 iron then just adjust the lie to suit my plane.
  21. Do they make a Rossa stand bag similar to the TM bag in the first 2 pics?
  22. Chris the prices seem ok especially if those are MSRP and not "street". Do you have any idea what material they use? Carbon Steel/GSS/DASS?
  23. First pic  ....but my new R7 stand bag just arrived today.
  24. Looks like his old Bett. Maybe it feels better or did they offer a better deal$$$$???
