  1. Checking in on the Chapter 2... Chomping at the bit for these...
  2. I had another round with them the other day and they felt great. I am able to get good distance from them, longer than either the TS909 or Yururi PDG. Also, they have good stopping power on the greens. Had issues with an unwanted fade and believe it to be too flat, much like the AF-903. So right now they are at the builder getting bent upright.
  3. Yeah it says "gimme away" ;0
  4. I'm a big fan of the BB and 5003 and would love to try the Isms, but these do not do it for me. Guess I am in the minority...
  5. Got a round in this morning and a short range session yesterday. They feel solid on most impacts even less than stellar ones. A tad misleading compared to the blades I am used to. Flushed is almost as pure butter as the Miura BB, maybe a touch more than the TS 909 but maybe not. Distance wise I picked up about 1/2 a club over the TS909 and close to 1.5 clubs over the PDG. Also, I had requested them be bent 1* weak on standard. 7 and shorter are towering with good stopping power and even some back up in them. 5 & 6 are more mid high. The more wedge like design of the PW should not be a limiting factor for full swings. Lastly, I like the look of the finish and the boxy appearance. So far I am a fan.
  6. I don't think the '13 ONOFF top line is much thinner if at all, more a visual trick due to the angular nature of the 358. Definitely thicker than the Yams though. Another interesting thing in the pic is that the 358 looks larger than the Yam in the first one, but smaller in a later pic.
  7. These showed up at my door today. They are nice and compact, about the same size, except thickness, to both the Yururi PDG and TS 909 blades. The top line and soles are noticeably thicker. The top line not too thick that it causes concern just not as knifelike as either the Yururi or TS blades. cannot speak to the impact of the larger sole area yet as I have not had a chance to hit them , and might not be able to do so tomorrow either given the rain forecast. Very nice set of irons.
  8. was the face like an insert?
  9. Still acclimating to mine but am enjoying the good contacts. Swing flaws and/or shaft flex issues are causing some leftward shots. When I put the right swing on it, great club. Sound and feel is solid, maybe a smidge hollower compared to the F358.
  10. Yes, the GT-S are very nice irons. I got them simply as a proxy for the AF-302 and then passed them along very quickly. Shafted up a couple of them to play a couple of rounds with, but only 2 or 3 heads. Very anxious for the CB358s...
  11. Oh crap... I just remembered I had gotten the SYard GT-S CBs, so I might have to back pedal later on them being the best in a decade. But since I still don't have the CB358 in hand, I'll stick with my prediction.
  12. That is correct. Have not purchased, nor have I played more than 2 shots with CB clubs in over a decade. That is why I am so secure in my pre assessment of the CB358.
  13. For me... Then again I haven't played a CB in over 10yrs, nor have I hit the CB358...
  14. I can already give one review... These are hands down the best set of cavity back irons I have purchased in over 10yrs...
  15. Can anyone that has a Yam RMX, preferably Tour but assume they are all the same, tell me how long the shaft is from the tip of the adapter to the butt end of the grip and how long the club plays installed? I am trying to cut a shaft down and don't have a good way to measure the installed length. Having the length from adapter tip to butt of grip and playing length, I can do some basic math and get the number I need. TIA, Steve
  16. You gonna load them into the Mizuno bag? Me too. I think everyone who ordered from TSG had custom setups... At least T made it seem Roddio shafts across the board, pretty much...
  17. When translated the site mentions high modulus carbon, 4 axis sheets and a graphite fabric. So would agree that it sounds generic for other high end shafts. Paint job bites but the rest sounds good. When reading some of the reviews for their rods they get high praise. Wonder if it equates to good shafts like it did for Daiwa.

Where are your priorities? Ditch the cane and get doped up on pain meds... Might be able to double or triple your Betti collection if you take enough at one time and you wouldn't have had to buy any more putters. ;)Nice collection. Heal quickly.
  19. If it is a decent discount I am game. An iron and a driver...?
  20. Given my love of Roddio shafts, has anyone ever heard of Olympic Co Deramax line of golf shafts? Seemingly they started as a fishing rod company a la the Daiwa technology that was applied to Roddio shafts. The common origin story has me curious about the Olympic Co shafts... Anyone...

Maybe you can find the jBeam aerodynamic paint to get them in the air some first.... ;)

Is the sole silver or black? Did you order the Type D or Type V? D should be silver in which case an MD serial could be correct.

You are assuming yours is real…
