I tried this driver today: Pros: Looks fantastic. Classic pear shape. Paint job is high quality. Cons: Unfortunately the head doesn't feel good as she looks. No where near Endo forgings feel...The stock three star Amraq shaft felt loose. Bottom line: Satisfied my curiosity but not worth looking into any further.

I play w/o a glove and Iomics 2.3 are by far the best... All you need after a few rounds is to wipe it down with alcohol and the tackiness is restored. Lasts 2-3 times longer than any thing from GP or Lamkin... Caveat is so many counterfeits being sold so I just order directly from the source: http://shop.iomicusa.com/

Absolutely! well this head makes the ball roll and roll and roll some more:) kind of like a tiger woods punch 3 wood... that being said, if you play primarily on a course with a lot of forced carry, this shouldn't be your first choice. it works for me because my club is a tight links type course and you can't spray it...

Got my 9.5 head shafted w/ Diamana X 70. Played first round today at my club: -A real penetrating trajectory w/ tons of roll -Great "bouncy" feel. -Much better results with smoother swings yet little loss in distance. I'm starting to understand the intent of this head design... because the trajectory is so penetrating, the wind really does not come into play at all.... but it was on many holes longer then my previous set up ('12 Yam tour head) yet I feel I have the control of a 3 wood. So far so good...

I used to play Honma forged irons and the Big-LB woods back in the day but kind of tuned out and switch to other brands when they seemed to stop catering the serious golfers and went through financial problems. Their recent drivers and forged irons in the TSG pro shop look very encouraging but wonder if they are still playing catch up to brands like Epon, Yamaha, Mizuno etc...

It's either a .355 or .370 tip but my Mills is .382...

Anyone know of JDM putter shaft with a .382 tip? Thanks,

Ahhh, the Tour driver: Don't know why I even got it cuz I like the 2012 Tour driver so much. (well, I know why, don't we all?) Its really similar to last year's as far as the head. Great shape, great feel. Got it with the new GD GT shaft in stiff, 10* like last year's. At address, the 2012 and 2013 are hard to tell apart, except the 2013 sits perfectly square whereas the 2012 sits about a degree or two open. This shaft feels a little softer just waggling it, might be the lower kick point? Launches a tad higher than the 2012 with the GD BB shaft, and feels softer at impact as well. And it's just a beautiful shaft, a less bright, silvery blue, with a dark silver upper area and a very subtle small, lime green stripe in the striped area. Might be the gamer on calm days when I want high bombs. Again, couldn't tell afa distance cuz of the wind and $#!++y range balls, but it surely seemed adequate. I can't see how it would be shorter than last year's, which was plenty long while not being the longest I've ever hit. Thanks for your review. I'm suprised to hear the the '12 and '13 Tour driver looks similar at address. I thought the '13 Tour driver was supposed to be more pear shaped??
